• Fernanda (10/5): Es como estar en casa - Es una casa particular, donde uno se aloja en una habitación en el tercer piso. Loes, la anfitriona, muy amable y atenta desde el inicio y durante toda nuestra estadía. La pieza está equipada con un mini fridge, tazas, platos, cubiertos, te, café, galletitas y un hervidor. El baño está dentro de la habitación. Es muy cómoda y tiene una vista muy linda desde el balcón. La ubicación es un poco lejos del centro, pero tiene buena accesibilidad, el paradero del tranvía está a unos 10 minutos caminando, y las líneas te dejan en todos los puntos de interés. Tiene un perro y dos gatos, por lo que si alguien es alérgico no le recomiendo este alojamiento, sin embrago, son animales muy amistosos y no entran a la pieza donde uno se hospeda. Respecto al aseo, recibimos la pieza impecable y con toallas limpias. -

• Mark (9/5): Nice base for my short trip - Excellent host, couldn't have been more helpful. Room was clean and comfortable and the house is located in a very peaceful neighbourhood. Only used accommodation for somewhere to sleep and didn't spend much time at the property. Nothing negative to report. Not a problem for me but worth noting that the stairs in the property are quite tight and steep for anyone less able.

• Ian (10/5): Comfortable and convenient - A clean and comfortable room with a lovely host! Convenient location, away from the centre of Amsterdam but with a tram stop a short walk away it’s easy and convenient to get to Amsterdam. Highly recommended.

Plus the owner has a very social dog that loves belly rubs (but the dog is not allowed in the room) It is 1h away from the center, and there is no table to eat or work comfortably. The toilet room is a bit too small and with zero noise isolation. Overall, minor concerns and a lot of people will not mind them at all.
• Cindy (10/5): Exceptional - Loes is such a wonderful hostess, and her mini hostess (Lil poopy 4got your name but not your adorable face and your Lil kisses) made our stay one we will not forget. The room was absolutely beautiful with a lovely balcony and glamorous view of a windmill. I didn't like that I didn't spend more time on the balcony petting Lil poopy. Such a lovely little white puppy.

• Ananthakrishnan (10/5): Exceptional - It was a house and the owner lives below but she is so kind and will provide us any information we need and the pkace is also good we have public transport nearby over-all it was nice staying there. One thing is that there are no restaurants near by and if we order something it will take ages the place is a bit away from city, but that is not a big deal if you have food outside or you plan food well

• Susan (4/5): All is not what it seems! - We appreciated receiving assistance to get our 2 suitcases up three sets of stairs, one quite windy. The owner was friendly. We did not get the room we had booked as the owner told us she had a refugee from Ukraine staying in it who had been there for sometime. She suggested we had a better room higher up on the next floor as it had a balcony. The Balcony was not clean, dead plants and dirty chairs. Our room was extremely pokey, no Deluxe Double here! No bedside tables, no desk, no table, difficult to find where we could place our cases so the owner was requested to cover the sofa so we could put our cases on this to prevent any soiling leaving us with one proper chair. Didn't like that the shower drain didn't work well causing backfill, unhygienic. The owner came and cleared it on day two of our three day stay & insinuated it was caused by our hair blocking the drain but it was a long standing issue. Poor location unless you have a car as it's a good one km walk from the tram stop and costly to use a taxi. Not so good walking back at night from the tram stop so rather limiting.

• Emma (8/5): A comfy, peaceful and enjoyable stay in a quiet residential area - We booked the two double rooms in this property- one for me and my husband and the other for friends. We were competing in the Amsterdam Marathon and Half Marathon. We were really pleased with our choice. The value for money was great and the area was really quiet and safe and only about 10k from the city centre and the airport. The room facilities were great- the bed was very comfy and we had a large shower and bathroom. The tram stop was a ten min walk away and links to the Metro. There is also a very large and well stocked supermarket by the tram stop, and a bakery etc. All in all a great place to stay and we enjoyed meeting the owner. We went out to dinner each night- first to a Chinese, then a fast food place nearby and on the last night a really great restaurant. There is quite a choice- they are all a good 15 min walk away. We felt very safe walking there in the dark. Because the rooms are in a private house, you do need to go through their lounge to get to them and the stairs are quite steep (not that it was a problem for us) The owner and people living their are really lovely and helpful and friendly and didn't mind us coming and going (we left at 4.15am for the airport!) They have dogs- which again we don't mind as we love dogs- but if you aren't an animal lover, you might want to bear it in mind.

• Richard (10/5): Absolutely faultless, cannot recommend enough! - Beautiful room that's near enough to bus and tram services for central Amsterdam, but far enough away to be peaceful at all hours. Loes is an exceptional host, very friendly and knowledgeable.
• Karolína (10/5): great place in a quiet neogbourhood - Both rooms were great, we had everything we needed. There was even a fridge, plates, etc. Everything was clean and the beds were very comfortable! Loes (the host) was very kind and helpful. The neighbourhood was calm and we had a great view on the canal. It wasn't a problem for us at all, but keep in mind that the tram station is 10-15 minute walk from the property. It is a noce walk tho!
