• Levente (9/5): Near Amsterdam for a reasonable price, recommended. - Quiet and nice location outside of Amsterdam. The place can be reached by bus (15mins from the center + walk). The apartment was fully equipped with coffee machine and toaster. We got a welcoming package as well and could use the laundry service (for a reasonable price). During the night it was dark and quiet so we had good sleeps. It was quite a long walk from the bus station (12-15mins). Be aware that this room actually has a twin bed with two separate mattresses.

Çok güzel bir çiftlik evi ama hayal bile edemeyeceğiniz kadar güzel detaylar vardı. Tek tek anlatmak istiyorum. Öncelikle tesise ulaşmak için otobüs durağında indikten sonra 1 km kadar yol yürüyoruz eğer ki büyük bir valiziniz yoksa bu yol o kadar huzur verici ki sağ sol tamamen yemyeşil ve leylekler den tutun her türlü farklı kuşlar , sabahları uçsuz bucaksız tarlalarda inekler , su kanalında ördekler kazlar , yol kenarlarında çiçekler o kadar güzel ki bu yol her gün huzula evden çıkıp eve giriyorsunuz. Daha sonra Eve giriş yapınca hemen ayakkabıları çıkartıyorsunuz ve karşınızda çok güzel bir piyano var . 2 aşağıda 2 yukarıda oda var bizim odamız aşağı da ve sol taraftaydı. Yataklar çok rahat ve oda tertemiz di . Oda da saç kurutma Makinesi kahve Makinesi ekmek kızartma makinesi vardı. Lavabo da da şampuan duş jeli vardı. Ortak kullanım alanında ki mutfak da da ne isterseniz var , bulaşık makinesinden airfreye kadar herşey bulunmaktadır. Pq nao imaginava que seria no meio do nada....a fazenda. a anfitria mto atenciosa, explicou tudo sobre o quarto. ficamos no maior da casa, mas o reves era que o banheiro era fora do quarto, de resto tudo ok. cozinha compartilhada mto limpa e com tudo que precisavamos. localizacao longe da cidade, tinhamos que caminhar por mais de 1km para chegar no ponto de onibus para pegar. Apenas disso, curtimos a experincia de ficar dentro de uma fazenda de criacao de vacas. no nosso quarto o banheiro era fora do quarto um pouco longe da cidade - mas como pegamos tempo bom sem problemas para caminhar tanto na ida quanto na volta da cidade.

• ZANCAN (10/5): Parfait, rien de plus. - Lors de notre arrivée, nous avons été accueillis par la propriétaire du logement ainsi que de la ferme laitière. Un super accueil, une hôte très gentille et aimable. Le logement est très spacieux et très bien équipé, et la cuisine commune est très cosy. Très agréable d'avoir des animaux de la ferme autour du logement. Bref, un très bon logement calme et reposant à 15 min d'Amsterdam. Je conseille. On aurait aimé y rester plus longtemps.

• Elena (10/5): Meraviglioso, ritornerei subito! - La colazione era ottima e ogni giorno c' era una novità, un prodotto locale. Vengono inoltre offerte uova fresche e burro veramente ottimo. La signora è veramente gentile e disponibile. È possibile anche,su richiesta, visitare l' azienda agricola,la stalla,gli animali e assistere alla mungitura. La casa è immersa nel verde e circondata da animali al pascolo. Per raggiungere la casa è necessario fare un tratto di circa 1 km a piedi, se il tempo è bello è una meravigliosa passeggiata, se piove e si hanno bambini forse è meglio raggiungere la struttura in un altro modo.

The hosts were very kind and friendly especially with giving directions to get the city. Overall it was a very welcoming environment. Honestly there wasn’t very many complaints overall with the stay. Besides the weather being not the best which can’t be helped there wasn’t really much issues.

• Radosław (9/5): Bardzo dobra miejscówka na wypady do Amsterdamu. - Miły gospodarz. Duży, czysty pokój z częścią salonową i sypialnią i jadalnią. Przy oknie z widokiem na bezkresne łąki była część jadalna. Obiekt jest na autentycznej farmie, więc jak ktoś lubi takie klimaty to będzie zadowolony. Kuchnia bardzo dobrze zaopatrzona. w pokoju mieliśmy swój ekspres (była też kawa i herbata - dziękujemy), kuchenkę, lodówkę i naczynia, Parking jest na terenie. Do centrum Amsterdamu dojeżdżaliśmy autobusem około 10 minut. Ponieważ jest tam kilka linii nie czekaliśmy dłużej niż 2-3 minuty. Do przystanku ok 4-5 minut bezpieczną ścieżką. Przez cały pobyt nie używaliśmy swojego samochodu. Stado ptaków rano 2 metry od łóżka za oszkloną ścianą - bezcenne. wszystko OK

• Michelle (5/5): passabel - Das Zimmer ist riesig, ein Tisch, sowie Sessel, Stühle und eine kleine Küchenkombination sind vorhanden. Der Ausblick ist sehr schön aufs Land. Die Zimmer sind extrem hellhörig, man hört leider alles(!) von den weiteren Gästen. Die Lage ist zwar ländlich und ausserhalb der Stadt, leider aber gleichzeitig auch direkt an einer sehr befahrenen Strasse. Die Zimmer (Bade- und Schlafzimmer) sind mässig sauber, sehr viele (alte) Spinnweben. Das Frühstück ist massig unter den Preis-Leistungs-Erwartungen.

• Christiane (5/5): - Es ist ein Bauernhof, (sehr) abseits und daher ruhig gelegen. Durch die Bushaltestelle ist man schnell in der Innenstadt von Amsterdam. Parken hinten im Hof beim Kuhstall. Die Inhaber sind freundlich und gelassen. Uriges älteres Haus mit nett eingerichteter Gemeinschaftsküche. Frische Hühnereier vom Hof waren gut. Äpfel und Bananen im Korn. Fahrräder am Hof ausleihen unkompliziert (aber lest euch die Bedingungen dazu auf dem Zimmer durch). Das blaue Zimmer im Erdgeschoss konnte nicht gelüftet werden, da die Fenster fest verschlossen sind und es nur einen Lüftungsschlitz gibt. Dadurch war es klamm im Zimmer (Raumbelüfter und Heizung aber vorhanden). Das Waschbecken im Bad war winzig und eher für ein Gäste-WC geeignet (Wasser lief schlecht ab, wir haben Bescheid gegeben). Die Gemeinschaftsküche ist im Landhausstil. Für 25 Euro/Tag für 2 Personen (eigentlich 30.-) sind wir als Vielreisende von einer anderen Frühstücksqualität und Essensangebot im "Bed & Breakfast" ausgegangen. Es gab nur Aufbackbrötchen (selbst im Airfryer aufzubacken) und abgepacktes Brot , 2 mal den gleichen Aufschnittkäse. Frischen Fleisch-Aufschnitt gab es überhaupt nicht! Nur abgepackte kleine Leberwürstchen. Auf anderen Bauernhöfen bekamen wir auch oft selbstgemachte Marmeladen, hier Erdbeer und Aprikose-Marmeladenglas aus dem Supermarkt. Kaffeekapseln waren nicht leicht zu finden und zu wenig Frischmilch (0,5l für Müsli und Milchkaffee zu wenig bei 2 Personen). Unser Tipp: Lieber selbst für das Geld einkaufen gehen und die Gemeinschaftsküche zum Frühstück zubereiten und Kochen nutzen. Dann ist es auch okay, selbst zu spülen und die Spülmaschine einzuräumen (darum wurde gebeten). Der Preis fürs Frühstück war in dem Preis-Leistung für unser Empfinden und im Vergleich zu anderen Unterkünften zu viel.

Puedes dejar el coche en la granja e ir al Centro de Amsterdam muy fácilmente. Andando a la parada de autobús más cercana 10 minutos, pasan muy a menudo. Que el baño estuviera fuera de la habitación pero ya lo sabíamos y no supuso un problema ya que está al lado mismo de la habitación y es privado.

It's a 10 minute (beautiful) walk to the bus stop and then 20 minutes ride to Amsterdam center. Very polite owners and you can feel their touch in the place. It was the best thing to stay here when visiting such colorful and loud city.

Hosts even let us experience the cows being milked up close, and offered to let us try milking, if we could wake up really early! Great country-side experience, hence access less straightforward via bike/farm lanes. Family with 3 persons, we stayed in the ground-floor family room that was spacious and lovely.

The studio was fully equipped with everything we needed, making it very comfortable. The area is peaceful and quiet, offering a perfect retreat away from the hustle and bustle of the city. The bed was one of the most comfortable I've had in all my travels. The accommodation was spotlessly clean, and the bathroom, although just outside the room, was very spacious and didn't cause us any inconvenience at all. In fact, they even provided bathrobes in case we needed them. It's easily accessible by bus, and I truly appreciated the tranquility of the location. If we return, we will definitely choose this accommodation again!

Amsterdam city center is 20–30 minutes away by bus. The sleeping area consists of two beds, which might be a bit uncomfortable if you prefer to sleep while embracing. The shared kitchen may feel a bit unusual if you haven’t experienced this type of setup before.

• Adrian (4/5): I definitely wouldn’t stay here again - The room was very clean Be careful when booking!! The bathroom is NOT attached to the room. You have to cross over a corridor and a set of stairs, hostel style, to get to the bathroom. Read the listing carefully! Do not rely on the breakfast part of ‘bed and breakfast’ - we were told one day before we arrived that there was no breakfast that could be provided, which was quite frustrating because it’s literally in the middle of nowhere so not like you can easily get alternative breakfast. We booked a room with a double bed - we were given two small single beds, complete with single bedding. Not comfortable or suitable. I definitely would not recommend for couples, it ruined the stay a bit for me honestly. The location was very remote and quite difficult and long to get to. The check in process was awful (not given correct keys, owners wouldn’t answer phones to help) and overall the owners were rude.

• Jakub (10/5): Exceptional - The staff was very friendly, even before our stay. Check in was without problems. We liked our room very much, it contained everything necessary and was clean. The adjacent communal kitchen contained all the necessary equipment and also board games to borrow. It is a bit remote (it is essentially on a farm, if I understand correctly), but thanks to that the surroundings were very calm and quiet (despite the road nearby). It also means that if you travel by public transport, it is a bit of a walk from the bus stop, but the remoteness was in my opinion worth it. If you travel by bike, the bike road goes directly in front of the B&B. Some would say that the walls are thin and you hear the other guests walking above you or opening and closing doors, but it is not disruptive and it is not different from an apartment building or a family house. The room was a bit cold (we visited at the end of september), but there is a heater both in the bathroom and in the bedroom, so you can adjust the temperature.
• Shaun (10/5): Perfect countryside location a short distance from the city - Absolutely beautiful place to stay in a rurual location which isn't far from the busy centre of Noord. Perfect for relaxing and escaping the busy city. The host was really friendly and helpful. The property is well equipped with everything you need for a comfortable stay. The rooms are lovely and beds are super comfortable! We had the best sleep we've had in ages! You won't be disappointed! We loved everything about City Farmer B&B and can't wait to return!

• Lucia (9/5): Great option to stay in Amsterdam - Our hosts were great and super helpful. Communication was easy. The place is very close to Amsterdam and yet you are in the middle of the countryside. Super calm and cozy. Great value for the price. You need to plan your day pretty well as you are highly dependent on public transport (metro to Noord + bus). It's not far, but you don't have the comfort of the city center (I've: convenience stores, restaurants). As long as you adapt accordingly, you'll be fine.

• Karen (10/5): Long weekend in Amsterdam - A very comfortable stay in our accommodation, with anything we could have needed. The host was very friendly and helpful - useful information offered and lovely details included. We loved the peace that the location offered us and were very happy to stay outside of the hustle and bustle of Amsterdam itself. I, personally, didn't mind the walking distance to the bus stop but our 14 year old wasn't so keen. However, that wouldn't put me off staying again should i go to Amsterdam in the future.
• Sana (9/5): Lovely! - I stayed in the family room and it was big and spacious. The facilities were all great (fridge in the room, toiletries and linen available, etc), and everything was clean. The temperature of the room was always just right, and the view was a wide grassy lawn opening onto a barn on one side, with the rural grass plain surrounded highway on the other - but the windows were placed to keep privacy intact. The bathrooms were private but across the hall through a common space. We enjoyed our stay and it was a comfortable and cozy place to be surrounded by farmland views and cows and goats. Amsterdam is closeby, and the smaller towns were fun to visit from this location. Breakfast: I opted for the breakfast (10 Euro each per day in cash) which usually included a variation of breads, cheeses, butters, and jams. Eggs and coffee, along with cereal and milk were also present. The eggs seemed sourced at the farm itself. It was nice to chat with some of the other guests during breakfast. Transport: There were buses running frequently, so public transport wasn't really an issue. We chose to rent bikes (10 Euro each per day, 25 for 3 days - in cash) and cycle around, and the location was good for that. Multiple ferries ran throughout, some late into the night to ensure we could get back from the city with out bikes. I will say though, that there are some sketchy/under constructions paths in the dark on the way back if you choose to do that. There are canals and dykes lining that path, so just be careful, especially with the wind. However, once you get used to it, it doesn't seem so bad, esp if you aren't alone. We attended a concert at Johan Cruyff and a bus brought us back straight from the arena around midnight. Ubers were difficult to find from the B&B, and we had heavy luggage so that was inconvenient. However, rolling them up the pathway to the bus stop as a back up wasn't too difficult.
• Mary (10/5): Beautiful stay on a working dairy farm - Beautiful mini apartment with a shared kitchen that had all amenities. The owner greeted us and showed us where everything was. The added touches of cows on all the dishes was great. Very authentic stay on a working dairy farm. Nothing, loved it all!

• Daniela (10/5): 3N4D Amsterdam trip! - The place is in the middle of the Amsterdam countryside, although very close to Amsterdam Noord (10 minutes walking from the b&b for reaching the bus stop + 5 min with the tram) You could reach city centre in about 20-25 mins in total. If you come here I suggest you to buy the Amsterdam & Region red travel card, so you can easily travel around the area and the city centre! Hosts are so nice and welcoming. Overall a great atmosphere, they also have a few dogs and one of them became a friend of us! :) Our room was cozy, well made; the bathroom is external but private. Had the best sleep here 10/10. Good price quality for the place! Thank you.
