Die Gastgeber, ein liebenswürdiges älteres Ehepaar mit französischem Flair, empfingen mich mit bemerkenswerter Herzlichkeit. Kleine Aufmerksamkeiten wie eine große Flasche Wasser und etwas zum Naschen, ein Wasserkocher und Tee im Zimmer, dazu frische Croissants und selbstgebackenes Brot zum Frühstück – einfach wunderbar. Das Zimmer und das Bad waren sauber, der Balkon mit Blick in den wundervollen Garten macht den Ort zu einer Oase der Erholung. Die schlichte, familiäre Einrichtung verstärkt die authentische Atmosphäre – man fühlt sich wie zu Hause bei guten Freunden. Wer echte Gastfreundschaft und eine persönliche Note schätzt, ist hier genau richtig. Ich komme gerne wieder!

• Marion (8/5): Eine angenehme Übernachtungsmöglichkeit mit einem bezahlbaren Preis. - Das Frühstück war hervorragend, mit viel Sorgfalt zubereitet. Die Lage ist gut, nahe beim Bahnhof aber trotzdem sehr ruhig. Die Gastgeber sind freundlich, aufmerksam und zuvorkommend.

• Eric (10/5): Treat Yourself to Magic: Stay at Chez Jean and Daisy - If I only had one word to describe Chez Jean and Daisy, it would be: Magical. This bed and breakfast in a sleepy hamlet outside of Basel near the German border is nothing short of a treasure. Everything in the house is steeped in history, charm, and beauty. Immediately upon walking in the gate to the property, you are greeted with an elegant garden. At the door, the wise and wonderful Jean embraces you with a larger-than-life personality. Daisy, with her warmth and loveliness, becomes no stranger too. The breakfast is served downstairs in the shadow of a ticking clock that has more character than a Victor Hugo novel. The bread is homemade and deliciously unique.
