• Arina (8/5): Uniek verblijf op loopafstand van historisch Gent - Kamer 3, super, rustig, aan de achterkant van het pand. Vrij uitzicht, vogeltjes. Helemaal goed! Parkeren ook perfect geregeld. Geen standaard accommodatie. Oud pand, houten krakende vloeren, maar dat is inherent aan elkaar. De verwarming is ouderwets, met een moderne digitale knop, werkte niet goed want deze werd toch warm ondanks dat deze uit stond.

The coffee they serve is very good, and the staff is very friendly and the lounge absolutely beautiful. The host is a real gentleman, happy to solve any inconvenience that might appear. Over all it was a great place to stay.

• Evita (9/5): Geweldig verblijf, mooie kamers en lekker centraal - De kamers waren ruim en hadden een prachtig decor. De instructies m.b.t. het inchecken vooraf waren duidelijk. De gastheer was erg vriendelijk en verwelkomde ons warm. Geen tegenvallers.

• MANUEL CABANILLAS (6/5): Si no eres muy exigente con las comodidades de alojamiento puede ser una solución para tu estancia. - Facilidad en el checkin. Reservamos para 4 personas, la suite y una habitación más. Pues a pesar de haber reservado la suite, el gerente decide si te da una o dos habitaciones (en la web se ofrece dos habitaciones). Nos dieron sólo una y al solicitar la otra pidieron más dinero. Al final nos apañamos y dos tuvieron que dormir juntos en una cama grande La suite es una habitación completa con baño y sala de estar, muy adecuada y perfecta, pero la otra habitación está a 30 metros, sin baño, por lo que hay que atravesar zonas comunes si tenemos alguna necesidad para llegar al cuarto de baño propio de la suite. La otro habitación estaba en el piso superior, tres plantas sin ascensor, todo el piso está a tu disposición pero el servicio y la ducha están fuera de la habitación. La cama, que necesita un repaso, prácticamente en el suelo y sin mesillas.

• Daisy (10/5): Relaxing escape - Our accommodation was on the top floor and though it's on a main road it was very quiet. The bed was super comfortable. The kitchen had all the facilities you need for cooking along with a Nespresso pod coffee machine. The TV had loads of channels in lots of languages which was great. The owner was super helpful and really went the extra mile for us. The cafe downstairs is a super chill space with good vibe music playing gently and comfy sofas. Location-wise we were a minute's walk from the canal which was a lovely alternative route into town, also, a great cinema and boat bar are very close to OsTi. Totally recommend!

• Carole (9/5): Je recommande vivement cet hébergement à Gand. - Nous avions le penthouse au dernier étage, l’appartement est bien situé, lumineux, propre et près de nombreux services et à environ 30 minutes du centre historique. Le gros plus, est la réception avec café ouvert le jour où l’on est accueilli avec le sourire par Dirk qui très gentil et est plein de bon conseils.

Рядом с отелем удобная транспортная развязка. Прекрасный дизайн номера и отеля. Там было всё необходимое для комфортного проживания. Очень радушный, отзывчивый и внимательный хозяин Дирк , приятный и интересный собеседник. В день отъезда шёл дождь и Дирк предложил и отвёз нас на вокзал. При отеле есть красивый тихий сад , где можно выпить вкусный кофе " от Дирка" ;) Нечего сказать.

Super friendly staff and host, great coffee (not proper breakfast but some options to eat), very spacious room and toilet although toilet is separate (on the same floor, only our rooms used it). It would be lovely to have teas and coffees facilities in the room considering there was so much space.

Comoda da raggiungere con i mezzi pubblici, a ridosso del centro della città, 15-20 min a piedi per raggiungere il centro storico. Ottima comunicazione con l'oste. Noi abbiamo alloggiato nella Suite ( stanze 1 e 2) con uso della cucina ( in comune con gli altri ospiti). La stanza numero 1 è dotata di un grazioso terrazzino con vista sul giardino. Molto carino il cafè Abbiamo soggiornato in agosto e le stanze erano davvero calde. In particolare la stanza 1 era un forno. Mi aspettavo di trovare un ambiente condizionato in quanto nella descrizione dei servizi disponibili figura " Aria condizionata indipendente in ogni alloggio", ma in entrambe le camere c'erano solo ventilatori.

• Federica (6/5): Insomma - La struttura è questa: è un palazzo diviso in piani che sono adibiti ad appartamenti. Non c’è porta dell’appartamento perché hai a disposizione un intero piano. Ciò significa che quando quelli del piano di sotto devono scendere per uscire passano per “casa” tua. Al nostro arrivo (siamo 3, avevamo prenotato un appartamento per 3) ci hanno dato una camera che non era stata pulita e volevano anche farci fare il terzo letto da soli! La ragazza delle pulizie non sapeva del nostro arrivo…Per scusarsi ci hanno cambiato con un’altra stanza.

• Jacob (7/5): Good - Nice old house, lots of character. The rooms were spacious. Modernized kitchenette and bathroom were nice to have. Owner was very friendly and helpful. Heating in kitchen and bathroom didn’t work. Needs a bit more work to be a fully functional apartment hotel — table lamps on the floor, very little storage, tiny TV with no cable or internet connection. Neighborhood isn’t anything special, but it is close to a bus that will take you to the train station or to the town center.

The owner is super friendly, he showed us a great route to walk to see all the best sites and places to visit, even drawing a map and dropping us to our starting location! He also gave me a lift back to the train station as it was raining when I left. The garden is so cute and the downstairs lounge area is very chic.
• Anna (9/5): Superb - The building and the rooms are very elegant and have a vintage vibe. The owner reacts immediately to any issues and requests. There are appliances in the kitchen, so you can cook dinners if you stay longer. There are also restaurants and shops nearby. If you have trouble sleeping, keep in mind that this is an old building and you will hear sounds from both, the inside and outside.

• Alessandra (10/5): Lovely luxurious stay in Gent, for an amazing price - It is a very luxurious accommodation with vintage vibes, but with on-point renovation works preserving its authenticity. The rooms are fantastic and enormous, with a remarkable bathroom. The mattress and linen are incredible, and there was fresh fruit provided for our entire stay + machine for tea/coffee. Great value for money, with a fair location (20 minutes on foot to the city center, way less via the nearest tram). A sign saying something like 'We are sorry for any inconvenience that may occur; this is an ancient building and has its issues.' I guess this means there were complaints in the past. How come? Previous visitors, are you crazy?
• Mehri (10/5): Great experience in a charming house - The place was vintage style and charming. The experience was amazing. It was very comfortable. The host was very kind and helpful. There was also a nice garden and a terrace. Nothing. It was all amazing. Just keep in mind that you need a 20-30 min walk to the old center of the city, which was totally ok for us.

• Line (8/5): Beautiful old house with separate accommodation on each floor - Plus: location, right where I personally needed to be, but good for tourists too. Close to main railway station. Beautiful house and hassle free check in/access. I stayed in room 5. Comfortable bed and great shower! Big living room. Delta: I realise it's an old house, but one small bedside locker or shelf would still fit in the bedroom next to the bed. Having nothing to put a bottle of water, book, phone etc on apart from the floor was not practical. Puzzle: you need to know before booking room 5 that the bathroom, kitchen, and toilet are on the top floor (many stairs to contend with), but separate from the bedroom and living room. Washing your hands after using the toilet means going to the kitchen sink or through the kitchen to the bathroom to wash your hands. Realise the house is on a very busy road and as it is an old house, soundproofing is poor. I always bring ear plugs when travelling, but I saw the owner had left some individually packed earplugs for guests.

Table and chairs in room for wine and conversation. Lamps are not suitable for reading. Look nice but eye wateringly glaring. Room needs a tall lamp too as centre light is very bright. Wasn't aware of room instructions on both sides of the laminated sheets. Very noisy family above, early in the morning but only for a short time. Not aware that only get one room for two people until booked. For two rooms, pay more. Separates into twin beds so not a problem for us. All arranged prior to arrival.
