Guest Reviews

- Paniz (9/5): Cozy and calm - This is place is right on the riverside and the room has an amazing view of the river. I left my curtains open every night and with the sunrise opened my eyes. The house itself is super cozy, there is coffee and tea available, plus breakfast. Christine is such an accommodating host, I even managed to do laundry over there as this was part of an extended trip I was undertaking, and I needed to do some washing.
The staircase can be a little narrow (something normal for houses), so be wary if you have a large suitcase, I didn't and it was totally fine for me. N/A
- Stephen (5/5): Passable - Isolated from any restaurants or bars.
- Adrian (10/5): Exceptional -
- Kimberly (9/5): Superb -
- Sefik (10/5): Good place to stay. - The location and river view were great. Facilities were good. Friendly owner, Breakfast was okay. I will try to come again. Location, riverview and a lucky sunny day.
- Rachel (9/5): Tranquil, authentic and welcoming Bed and Breakfast experience from which to explore Namur - Christine was such a wonderful host, she was so welcoming and engaging. She has put a lot of thought and care into providing this accommodation option for her guests. If you love to meet new hosts and have a personal experience then this is the place for you. The local region is very interesting and provides a pleasant low key tourist experience. We loved to cycle along the river leisure route and enjoy a brasserie meal along the way.
- Jef (10/5): Excellent stopover. - All of it. Great room. Great view of the river. Comfortable. Excellent location. Excellent host. That we couldn't stay longer.
- Jef (10/5): Fabulous. - Fabulous.
- Michael (10/5): Exceptional - We had the whole second floor of the house for ourselves: sleeping room, toilets, coffee corner with free coffee and tea, and a living room. Big bathroom one floor down. View on the water. Super quiet.
We could park our bikes in the garage behind the house.
Very friendly and helpful owner.
Breakfast included in the price.
Plenty of nice restaurants nearby along the water.
I wish we had stayed more than one night.
- Julia (10/5): Best place we've stayed in ages - Great location right on the river, with a very friendly host who had lots of helpful tips on what to see and where to eat. Super calm and quiet at night. The space is huge: we booked what we thought was just a double room, but essentially you get a whole self-contained flat on the second floor to yourselves. The bikes were a nice surprise, allowing us to explore the beautiful riverside. Breakfast in the garden was lovely too. We had initially thought about spending a night in Namur, but are really happy we went here instead! Nothing, it was great.
- Robert (9/5): Superb -
- Chantal (9/5): Superb - Exceptional view from the room, on the river. Very kind and warm welcome. I would have appreciated an extension for plugging 2 or 3 electrical devices (phone, computer) in the room.
- Dave (9/5): Great location and a lovely property which will be even better when some ongoing modifications are completed. - great location and very warm welcome.
Christine is a warm and generous hostess and eager to ensure our stay was a good one.
- Jackson (9/5): Superb - The position was excellent, overlooking the river Meuse. The room was comfortable and clean. Quiet a lot of stairs to climb. Some elderly people might struggle. There is no drawer or hanging space for clothes.
- Sam (10/5): Amazing experience for a couple looking to explore Namur, would definitely recommend. - Location was beautiful, right on the river and there is a parking zone for electric scooter close so it provides easy access to the larger city.
You are the only guest in the house, however the host is extremely accommodating. She was able to provide a range of recommendations for breakfast and dinner (all of them were lovely). She even provided us with a few beers and candles on the patio unprompted. Absolutely amazing.
