Les portes des chambres trop légères concernant l insonorisation car certains clients se croient tout seul et ne respectent pas les autres résidents le soir tard en parlant trop fort .

• Oliver (10/5): - Wir haben eine mehrtägige Radtour unternommen, sodass das Hotel durch die Nähe zur Vennbahn perfekt gelegen ist, zumal man die Fahrräder dann in der Garage abstellen kann. Unser Zimmer war sehr groß, sauber und verfügte sogar über eine kleine Sauna, mit der wir gar nicht gerechnet haben. Das Frühstück war auch gut, sodass man gut gestärkt weiterfahren konnte. Das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis war dadurch wirklich gut!

Tout était parfait, la grande taille de la chambre et toutes les commodités, la propreté de l'ensemble de l'établissement. Et un petit-déjeuner de qualité, très varié avec des produits frais, tout était un régal. Nous recommandons vivement cet hôtel

• ^Ralf (9/5): - Sehr freundliche und familiäre Atmosphäre. Perfekte Unterkunft für Fahrradgäste: es gibt eine Garage mit Lademöglichkeit für e-bikes. Die Wege sind kurz, alles ist gut durchdacht. Das Frühstück war gut, es fehlte nichts. Es gibt kein Restaurant, was aufgrund der Größe des Hotels nachvollziehbar ist, dies sollte aber auf der Homepage klarer kommuniziert werden. Es gibt aber in der Nähe einige Restaurants, die man mit Fahrrad oder Auto schnell erreichen kann.

• S.M. (7/5): Pension nahe dem Vennbahnradweg - Die Lage nahe Vennbahn Radweg. Die abschließbare Garage für die E-Bikes. Freundlichkeit der Gastgeber, das Frühstück und die Möglichkeit Getränke zu erwerben. Bad und Toilette ohne Lüftung. Separate Toilette ohne Handwaschbecken. Die Betten waren sehr weich und durchgelegen.
• Reinhard (8/5): Nettes Hotel für einen Zwischenstopp auf der Vennbahn-Route. - Das Frühstück war, vom Maschinenkaffee abgesehen, sehr gut. Das Personal war sehr freundlich. Einen besonderen Pluspunkt gibt es für den Pool. Die Fahrräder waren in der Garage gut untergestellt. Das Doppelbett war extrem schmal und entsprach nicht der Buchung (2 Einzelbetten). Da das Haus vollständig belegt war, war Zimmerwechsel nicht möglich. Das Haus liegt an einer Hauptstraße, wodurch es auf der Vorderseite recht laut ist.

Safz and handy place to store our ebikes. Great restaurant owned by the same people in Buttgenbach but some 6 - 7km by bike. Great location if tou are travelling by bike and coming on the Vrnnbahn from Aachen. Arrival by bike on the Vennbahn coming from Trois Vierges somewhat difficult and tricky road uphill to reach the hotel. Some people my like to have a restaurant closer by but for us ctcling to Buttgenbach for dinner was a great option.

• Santikk (8/5): Very good place. Owner is the best. - The owner of the hotel was very welcoming. She immediately asked us if we had a dinner and helped to order from the nearby Italian restaurant. Prepared the breakfast at the time we asked. The room was clean and nice. The shower needs renovation but it works.
• Jaakko (7/5): Good hotel for one night sleep despite some tuning of the ventilation using windows. - The breakfast was good, standard. There was a separate place for bikes, albeit not locked. The temperature outside that day was about 20 deg C, not particularly hot nor cold, ideal for cycling. Nevertheless, the inside temperature in the hotel room, top floor was much higher. There was no ventilation in the room nor in the bath room. The ventilation is implemented using the windows only. Nevertheless, an open window facilitates the noise of the traffic to penetrate to the room. This was a minor shortcoming. Hence, a compromise had to be found between the noise and rather warm room. One can sleep with sheet only in a warm room. The owner has installed an air conditioner in the corridor about 10 m from the room which I suppose would improve significantly the situation in warm days and nights. In those situations the room door should be kept open to get the cold air to flow to the room. This might be necessary but the side effect is that the sense of security would be compromised. Anyway without installed ventilation in the ceiling of the room some windows should be kept open anyway regardless of the weather to prevent the CO2 level to increase and to be able to sleep. Both the ventilation and air condition might be necessary to safeguard reasonable temperatures and sufficient oxygen without noisy night traffic for good night sleep on the street side.

• Kris (9/5): Nice short bike-stay - The hotel is down the road from the Vennbahn, easily accessible by bike or car. The beds are very comfortable, we had a room at the road side, but in October when it is dark there was nobody driving that road, so very quiet at night. We just loved the breakfast, there was really everything you wish for : from croissants to pies, to eggs and bacon, salmon,.. and different slices of bread. It is served as a buffet but added all the time, never is there anything missing. We parked the car behind the hotel, there is parking enough and away from the road. When we would have stayed with our bikes only, and in autumn/winter, the road can get dangerous, it is a 3km drive to the next town where there are a few things to have dinner. So happy that we got a car.
