Gotthard (9/5): Sehr schöne Unterkunft, wir waren sehr zufrieden - Sehr freundlicher Empfang, sehr schönes, großes Zimmer mit Balkon, tolle Regendusche, ruhige Lage, einfaches aber ausreichendes Frühstück, Getränke und Snacks vorhanden. Wir waren zu zweit auf einer Rheinsteig-Wanderung dort und waren sehr froh, dass wir auch ein Frühstück bekommen konnten. Es gibt m.W. sonst nur einen Bäcker, der an wenigen Tagen im Ort ist. Es gibt leider kein Restaurant mehr in Bornich, aber man kann sich Essen in die Unterkunft liefern lassen. Die Gastgeberin hatte entsprechende Lieferdienste herausgesucht und hätte uns geholfen, wenn wir das Angebot hätten in Anspruch nehmen wollen.

Till (8/5): Geeignet für einen Zwischenstopp auf dem Rheinsteig - Schönes und sauberes Zimmer, nette und hilfreiche Vermieterin Das Zimmer befindet sich im Haus der Vermieterin und man teilt sich ein Badezimmer mit zwei anderen Parteien und muss auch zeitlich versetzt frühstücken. Im Ort gibt es auch kein Restaurant mehr.

Jennifer (10/5): Sehr schöne Unterkunft - Sehr tolle Unterkunft. Die Besitzerin ist sehr freundlich und es war einfach super. Zimmer ist sehr schön eingerichtet und auch das Frühstück war super. Optimal auch für eine Wanderung auf dem Rheinsteig.

Dinja (7/5): A nice stop to shorten the Rheinsteig-etappe. Clean, quiet but price/quality out of balance. - It was really nice, quiet and clean. Bornich is a nice stop at the Rheinsteig in between Kaub and Sankt Goarshausen, if you don't want to walk >20 kms. Beware: the only restaurant in Bornich is only open from thursdays to sunday. We were there on wednesday. Breakfast was very basic.
Janke (10/5): Ganz prima! - Perfect place to stay for the annual Night of the Prog festival, at Freilichtbuhne Loreley. I was there alone, so had a private bathroom. But probably the bathroom must be shared with all guests.

Charlotte (10/5): Very comfortable, quiet, spacious, clean and cosy. Amazing place to stay. - Our stay at the property was very pleasant, relaxing and comfortable. Astrid and her husband did everything to make us feel great at their home. The 3 rooms are situated on the 1st floor and all of them are big, quiet, comfortable, with a big window and 2 out of the 3 rooms even have a balcony. The bed is comfortable and the shared bathroom is also very spacious, spotless clean and beautifully furnished and equipped, towels and toiletries are included. Everything was very clean and nicely decorated. There is also a very useful shared dining area with a little fridge and a kettle that you can use anytime. We made a special request and the property was very helpful. We also asked for a vegetarian breakfast and it was perfect, served in the cosy living room and we got a mix of sweet and savoury options, hot and cold drinks. An amazing place to stay, we will definitely come again.
