• CECILE (5/5): Déçu. - Chambre grande et propre. Bon petit déjeuner. L'emplacement, quartier où il n'y a rien. On ne se sent pas très en sécurité. Pas de réfrigérateur dans la chambre ni coffre fort. Chambre au rdc, sombre, sans charme. C'est plus une chambre d'hôtes qu'un hôtel.
• Samuel (10/5): - Best boutique hotel I've stayed in ever! Staff were extremely friendly, I'd highly recommend this place. Sheets and room was super clean too and the food for breakfast was really good. Location also perfect because its not too touristic the area and located next to a central plaza where people are dancing and eating food every night. Shower head was too short (I'm over 6ft) so I was slouching to have a shower, but honestly not a biggie. Place was 10/10!

Ils ont été aux petits soins pour nous tout le long du séjour jusqu’à nous proposer de nous préparer à manger le midi. Incroyable repas, on s’en souviendra longtemps. Les meilleurs tacos que j’ai mangé! Encore un grand merci ☺️

• Lijesen (10/5): Mooi, kleinschalig verblijf waarbij je je thuis kunt voelen. - Elke dag starten met een heerlijk ontbijt. Vlakbij het hotel ligt een plein waarop elke avond diverse local activiteiten worden gehouden.
• Erwin (10/5): Heerlijk verblijf - De ligging vlakbij ADO busstation is zeer prettig en het ontbijt is echt super lekker. Personeel erg vriendelijk. Alles schoon en prima. Prachtige tuin. Dank je wel Lluis! De trap naar boven is best steil , dus voor mensen die slecht ter been zijn niet erg praktisch.

• Frédérique (8/5): Accueil sympa , facile à trouver mais je n’aime pas les escaliers en colimaçon : ne pas venir avec personne à mobilité r - L’accueil , la taille de la chambre L’escalier en colimaçon : ce sont nos hôtes qui ont monté les valises au second étage mais les descendre à été une épreuve de force !! Vraiment pas pratique , ce qui explique nos notes ! Et puis mon fils a trouvé un insecte dans son lit : nous croisons les doigts pour que ce ne soit qu’un cafard et pas une punaise de lit !! Désinfection des valises à l’arrivée !

• James (9/5): Relaxing, friendly and comfortable - After 23 hours of flying it was the perfect place to arrive into Mexico, relaxing from the moment we arrived till the delicious breakfast on our departure. Managed by a very friendly pair of brothers. Already recommended it to a friend arriving in a week. Not a dislike, but if you have bad knees like me, ask for a bedroom downstairs (I did but my friend was up the narrow stairwell, which for most would be perfectly fine)

• Saskia (9/5): - Wir haben sehr spontan gebucht und sind bereits knappe 30Minuten später angekommen. Es war trotzdem bereits alles vorbereitet und wir konnten direkt in unser Zimmer. Und wurde alles ausführlich erklärt und gezeigt. Auch sehr früher Check-out um 5Uhr morgens war kein Problem. Zimmer und Anlage waren sehr sauber und gepflegt. Gute Lage mit sehr vielen Restaurants in direkter Umgebung und trotzdem sehr ruhig. Nichts.

• Dominique (9/5): On a prolongé d'une journée car on se sentait vraiment bien dans cet endroit - Emplacement idéal au centre de Cancún car à côté d'un parc très agréable le soir et près du terminal de bus ADO. Le cadre de l'hôtel est luxuriant et bien décoré Le personnel est dévoué et bienveillant ce qui est un point fort du séjour sans oublier le petit déjeuner vraiment très bon et copieux. Merci à Alberto et Monica pour l'accueil chaleureux, on reviendra... L'entrée de l'établissement très discrète (trop peut-être !) nous a désarçonné le premier jour, on était comme des c... à chercher pendant plus d'une heure alors qu'on était à côté mais sans téléphone et sans nom ni numéro de rue. pas évident surtout après 2 jours de voyage.
• Jana (10/5): ich würde jederzeit wieder buchen - sehr schöne Unterkunft mit netten Eigentümern! Wir haben uns gleich wohl gefühlt. Leider waren wir nur eine Nacht. wir sind etwas zeitiger angekommen und konnten uns bis das Zimmer fertig wurde am Pool entspannen. Dafür haben wir sogar Handtücher bekommen. Das Zimmer (mit Balkon) war sehr schön eingerichtet, und in der Dusche waren auch Shampoo und Duschgel. In der Umgebung gibt es viele Möglichkeiten zum Essen (Entfernung ein paar Minuten zu Fuß). Die Koffer werden ins Zimmer getragen und auch wieder abgeholt (sogar 4:30 Uhr morgens). Parkplatz für Mietwagen ist direkt vor dem Haus. Ich würde wieder hier buchen. nichts
• constance (10/5): - Sehr,aufmerksamer Servi e, das Frühstück Man muss wissen, dass zu den Zimmern eine steile Wendeltreppe führt.
• Sjoerd (10/5): Heerlijk verblijf, met een oase aan rust en groen in de tuin. Aanrader - De rust van de tuin, onze kamer had een groot goed bed en de badkamer was voortreffelijk. Daarnaast de kers op de taart, elke ochtend inbegrepen ontbijt was echt super! De chef wist wat die aan het doen was. Personeel zijn erg vriendelijk en staan gelijk voor je klaar. Goed om te weten voor mensen die slecht ter been zijn dat de trap een uitdaging kan zijn. Het is een smalle wentel trap. Daarnaast maar dit is een probleem in heel Mexico, niet echt sfeer lichten op de kamer. Als laatste ze hadden geen sportschool stond wel geadverteerd op booking. Gelukkig is er een sportschool om de hoek.

• Serdilan (10/5): - Delicious and colorful breakfast, clean & comfortable rooms and a very welcoming staff. It feels like a family home. Stairs to go to the rooms upstairs are a bit narrow and steep, but they helped with the luggage without issues. It's located in downtown Cancun and it's still possible to park on the street safely if you have a rental car. I would definitely stay there again if I go back one day. I really enjoyed my stay and felt very welcomed and taken care of. Big thanks to the Quetzal family!
• Arnaud (10/5): Super - Super hôtel. L’hôte est vraiment au petit soin des voyageurs, très souriante et gentille. On a fait nos meilleures nuits dans ce logement (aucun bruit). On se sentait bien. Les petits déjeuners sont délicieux et préparés avec attention !!! C’est génial merci beaucoup! Quand on arrive l’extérieur ne donne pas très envie (murs avec des tags) mais quand on découvre le lieu c’est vraiment chouette.

Le personnel agréable, la chambre avec grand lit confortable. Le petit déjeuner mexicain est super bon !! Parfait pour quelques jours ou plus si vous appréciez Cancun. l’escalier en colimaçon n’est pas très pratique pour aller à l’étage.

L’hôte est adorable, nous avons beaucoup aimé le jardin à l’extérieur avec des endroits confortables pour se poser. On se sent comme à la maison! Les chambres sont très bien insonorisées en plus, tout près du Parque de las Palapas avec des concerts et une ambiance vivante; une fois rentrée à la chambre on entend absolument rien c’est très calme. Les déjeuners sont fait avec attention, de beaux fruits frais et des sauces maisons. Trop bien :) Absolument rien!!

Wir bedauern es sehr, nur eine Nacht hier verbracht zu haben. Beide haben eine so warmherzige Art und strahlen mexikanische Lebensfreude aus. Das Frühstück war super lecker und endlich einmal wirklich mexikanisch (hatten wir in diversen andere Hotels nicht). Auf jeden unserer Wünsche wurde eingegangen. Das Zimmer selbst war okay, sauber und für eine Nacht ausreichend. Die Lage war recht zentral, wenn auch weit weg vom Strand.

There were al lot of restaurants to choose from however because of the time of my arrival, most were closing. There is a nice pice right in front of the building and it felt safe to be outside alone. The building itself is unassuming but when you get inside you will be pleasantly surprised. The staff was amazing even going to the store to buy more plant based milk for my coffee. OMG breakfast was AMAZING!!! Fresh fruit w yogurt, and whatever else you want freshly prepared by their chef. There was nothing not to like, although there were a few bats flying around the pool area at night.

• Roosje (9/5): A really nice place to stay! - - the friendly hosts - the location in the city center (really close to the bus to the zona hoteleria which will take you to the beaches, close to the supermarket, close to a plaza with food and entertainment, close to reastaurants en shops) - the interior and design of the whole place - the garden with pool - the breakfast I requested early check in, so they had another room ready than I originally booked (happy we could to early check in after 17hrs of travelling!). But it was a smaller room though... a bit cramped with 2 large suitcases, but fine for 2 nights.
• Samuel (9/5): - J'ai vraiment aimé mon expérience au Quetzal ! Tout le staff était super, spécialement Luis ! La chambre était grande et confortable. Pour un arrêt rapide pour visiter le centre-ville de Cancun, goûter les meilleurs tacos de la ville et profiter du Parque de las palapas l'emplacement est vraiment difficile à battre. Le seul truc qu'il leur faudrait c'est un signe a l'entrée puisque c'est marqué nul part que le bâtiment est bel et bien le Quetzal.

• Valerie (10/5): Beautiful hotel! - Our stay was amazing! The property is beautiful, colorful, and very well maintained. It felt cozy, clean, and welcoming from the moment we arrived. The breakfast was really good and such a nice way to start each morning. The host was super helpful and attentive throughout our stay. They gave great recommendations for local places to eat and helped us find really good spots nearby. Anytime we had a question, they responded quickly and made sure we were comfortable. Overall, we had a wonderful experience and would definitely stay here again!

• Sahebi (8/5): Für kurze Aufenthalt gut geeignet - Das war ein kleines aber angebehmes Hotel mit netten Personal. Die Gastgeberin ist sehr herzig. Das Hotel liegt in einer belebten Umgebung und trotzdem sehr ruhig, alles findet man in der Nähe, Restaurants, Bar, Supermarkt und Busstation ist ganz in der Nähe. Draussen hängt kein Hotel-Schild, deshalb habe ich beim Ankommen ziemliche Mühe gehabt um das zu finden. Das Früstück ist sehr klein und einfach aber man wird satt:) Es gibt kein Schrank und kein Safe in meinem Zimmer
• Mandy (10/5): - Super, nette Gastgeber. Ein Dank an Monica, Luis & Alberto. Die Unterkunft ist klein, fein & farbenfroh dekoriert. Kein Massentourismus. Sehr schöner Poolbereich. Das Frühstück wird individuell frisch zubereitet. Busbahnhof ADO, Marktplatz und Hauptstraße fußläufig gut erreichbar. Ein kleiner Kühlschrank wäre wünschenswert, aber nicht zwingend nötig, da es in unmittelbarer Nähe 24h-Shops gibt. Einziges Manko: kein Safe.
• _dona.tella_ (10/5): Ottima scoperta! - Struttura accogliente e pittoresca, curata nei piccoli particolari e collocata a pochi passi dal Parque de las Palapas - molto frequentato da famiglie e ricco di iniziative/street food - e comodamente vicino alla stazione ADO. Camera ampia e fornita di molti accessori (tra i quali adattatori per la presa). Personale molto accogliente, solare e sempre disponibile. Alberto, accorto del malfunzionamento di una serratura (della porta finestra al secondo piano), in pochi minuti è riuscito a sistemare il pezzo rotto. Inoltre, ci è stata servita la colazione nonostante avessimo necessità (per il volo) di anticiparla di un'ora prima dal consueto orario. Colazione ricca e deliziosa, dolce e salata (es. pane di diversi tipi con marmellata, yogurt e muesli, tanta frutta, uova preparate al momento e come si desidera). Per noi non è stato un problema, ma segnaliamo che le scale per raggiungere le camere da letto hanno scalini alti e stretti... Probabilmente è meglio verificare preventivamente la fattibilità se si hanno difficoltà motorie.
