Immaculate , lush gardens , large spotlessly clean , very comfortable bedrooms beautifully and tastefully decorated with quality room furniture and bathroom fittings . A long impressive passage with polished floor boards and full length plush carpet runner leads to the spacious breakfast and relaxing tv lounge ( equipped with enormous flat screen tv and comfortable sofa . There is nothing not to like about this property
• Beat (10/5): Cosy, clean and comfortable. - Great hosts and a very clean and cosy place. They gave us more of a family member feeling than a paying guest feeling. Perfect and delicious breakfast to our wish. Talee is absolutely not a must see place. However, if you get there, this is definitely the place to stay over night!

Our bedroom, sitting room and bathroom were all modern, very clean and stylish. Our host was lovely as was the breakfast that he prepared. There was nothing not to like.

Ken cooked an amazing breakfast . We were so sorry we were at the end of a very long trip and could not stay longer. We will definitely be back

We had a separate lounge area and the bathroom was spotless. We were greeted with a fresh pot of tea and homemade shortbread and were served a delicious breakfast the next morning.

We walked his beautiful husky dogs Yuko and Hime along the river. Ken gave us great advice for things to do during our stay that helped us to make the most of our time. I can’t think of anything.

Easy communication when booking and generous with local knowledge and opening their home to guest. We felt extremely welcomed. • Louise (10/5): Welcoming stopover on Pacific Highway - Birches is a welcoming stopover in Taree for our drive on the Pacific Highway. This is our third stay at Birches. Ken and Mark are outstanding and inclusive hosts who provide an excellent standard of accomodation from a secure, cosy, tastefully decorated ensuited room with extremely comfortable bed and lovely touches from bottled water and choccies to a hearty breakfast and homemade shortbread to pack us on our way in the morning.

And the hosts, Ken and Mark, are a hoot. They were so friendly and welcoming, and breakfast was delicious! This is definitely somewhere I would look forward to staying at again. Absolutely nothing.

The rooms are a very good size and very well appointed. The breakfast by Ken was great and they provided a very warm welcome. If you want a whole house all to yourself and to see no one else it may not be your scene but the house and veranda and rooms were all wonderful. See above no negatives

Breakfast was great, the house was immaculate and the bedroom is spacious. Lots of thoughtful touches like chocolates, bottles of water, freshly cooked shortbread. Highly recommend. Nothing.
