• Connie (10/5): Superlocatie, vriendelijke mensen en heerlijk eten - Prachtige locatie bij de rivier en net in het dal. Mooie plek om te starten met wen wandeling in de bergen. Verder schoon, douche ietwat krap, prima bedden en een heerlijk albanisch diner en ontbijt 🤩

• Charlotte (10/5): I would certainly come back if visiting Theth again. - Breakfast was delicious, plentiful, and varied. The staff was friendly and helpful. The view from the balcony was beautiful. Maybe a shelf in the shower for toiletries and some hooks in the room to hang things on.

• Rens (9/5): - Fijn verblijf met ontzettend aardige eigenaar die het hotel met zijn familie runt. Ontbijt heel erg uitgebreid en ook een lunchpakket en avondeten (tegen meerprijs) wat gewoon erg goed, lekker en veel was. Ze doen ontzettend hun best om je een heel fijn verblijf te geven. Aanrader! Wij hadden een kamer met gedeelde badkamer, tegen de gezamenlijke ruimte/keuken aan, wat best gehorig was savonds en sochtends.
• Jürgen (8/5): Ein Kurzurlaub in schöner Bergwelt - Die Lage war für Wanderungen sehr gut. Das im Zimmerpreis enthaltene Frühstück war gut und reichhaltig. Es gab die Möglichkeit, ein zusätzlich ein Abendessen zu bestellen, was wir sehr schätzten. Das Zimmer und das Bad waren sehr klein, es gab kaum Platz für das Gepäck. Die Wände waren hellhörig.

• Alixandra (10/5): Absolutely fantastic guesthouse - This family run guesthouse was honestly one of the most fantastic places we have ever stayed! We arrived via bus very early and the host was incredibly accommodating, offering us coffee and luggage storage until our room was available. The hospitality only seemed to improve from there. Breakfast is massive and absolutely delicious! The dinner offered is definitely a must, you get a brilliant home cooked Albanian dinner and you will not walk away hungry. They also cater for dietary restrictions such as gluten free as well. We were honestly sad to leave, and will definitely return in the future.

• Tanja (9/5): Wir hätten uns den Start für die Peaks of Balkan Tour nicht besser vorstellen können. - Die Unterkunft war genau wie beschrieben, mit hohem Wohlfühlfaktor. Die Familie ist super herzig und sehr hilfsbereit. Durften unser Auto während der 6-tätigen Peaks of Balkan Tour stehen lassen. Haben uns von Anfang an sehr wohl und sicher gefühlt. Das Essen ist toll, der Kaffee war der beste Kaffee in der Gegend und der selbst gebackene Kuchen ist ein Genuss. Wir haben vor und nach der Wanderung dort übernachtet- würden wir jederzeit wieder so tun. Große Herzensempfehlung.

La famille est très gentille et serviable. Il faisait froid dans la chambre (séjour fin septembre). Le chauffage ne fonctionnait pas.

The bathroom and facilities were nice and very clean. The Room was also very clean. Great location, close to restaurants and surrounding hikes, and with a nice view from the room. We also bought packed lunches from guest house and they were really good value for the money we paid. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay and thought it was great value for what we paid. The room was a bit small, but this wasn’t a problem at all.

Durch gemeinsame Tische kann man gut mit anderen ins Gespräch kommen und an einem Abend haben wir uns auch länger mit dem Gastwirt unterhalten. Die Lage ist super als Ausgangspunkt für Ausflüge zum Blue eye und Wasserfall.
• sarah (9/5): Wonderful family-run guesthouse for great value. - Run by a lovely family. Clean, comfortable, very generous breakfast included, and huge dinner for a reasonable €15 per person. Located only a 5-minute walk from the iconic church and on the side of town that is closer to the Blue Eye trailhead. It’s about 500 meters from the bus stop. If you book the bus out of Theth through the guesthouse owner, he can arrange for the bus to pick you up from the guesthouse, to avoid having to walk back to bus stop with luggage, and at no extra cost to you. If you’re tall, ask not to be placed in the triple room with the sloping roof.

Note: The location is central, but if you are after a serene mountin location to chill, then this may not be the best location. (Still surrounded by beautiful mountains but by dusty road/roundabout). That said, we were busy hiking and exploring during the day so not really an issue.

La comida fantástica típica y casera, además de super abundante, tanto el desayuno como la cena. También te pueden preparar un lunch si vas a pasar el día en la montaña de trekking. La verdad que todo un acierto, tienen un 10 en todo. Absolutamente nada malo que decir.

Kochen ein Menü (Auswahl an Speisen) für 15 Euro incl. einem Getränk und Wasser. Frühstück war auch genial. Waren drei Nächte dort. Preis - Leistung unschlagbar. Wir fühlten uns sehr wohl. Kleinigkeiten… aber wir sind im Urlaub und in Albanien… es passte für uns

Sehr reichhaltiges und köstliches Essen (Frühstück und Abendessen). Zimmer sauber und ausreichend groß. Die Gastgeber bereiten auf Wunsch auch ein Lunchpaket für Wanderungen zu. Parkplatz etwas eng. Bei den Zimmern zur Straße manchmal etwas laut durch Verkehr.

We even had a view of the top half of the Theth Church from our balcony. Room was cozy and everything worked. The family is super warm, friendly and helpful. We will be back! Nothing negative.

• Tomás Silva (10/5): Perfect base in Theth with hearty meals and easy access to hikes - The room was clean, as described, and came with a good bathroom. Although there was no air conditioning, the mountain climate kept the room comfortable at night even in the middle of August. Private parking was available, Wi-Fi worked well, and communication with the hosts was excellent. The location is perfect for exploring Theth, making it a great base for hikes and activities in the area. The last few hundred meters to the property are on a gravel road, but any car can make it, and it’s also easy to drive from here to the parking lot near the start of the Blue Eye hike. Breakfasts were generous and full of regional flavors, and in the evenings the family restaurant in the garden offered fantastic dinners that felt more like banquets. Overall, a comfortable stay with good price-to-quality value, ideal for anyone looking to experience Theth’s atmosphere and hospitality.

• Claudia (9/5): Heerlijk verblijf op een prachtige centrale locatie in Theth - De vriendelijke gastfamilie, zeer behulpzaam. Ze hielpen zelfs koffers naar boven en beneden brengen en terug in de auto plaatsen toen we weggingen. Ze boden aan om ons naar Blue Eye te brengen en halen. Echt super behulpzaam en erg lekker daar gegeten. Ontbijt ook zeer uitgebreid. De badkamer was echt behelpen. Deze was super klein en schuin. Maar de rest van het verblijf compenseerde de badkamer.

• Elias (10/5): - Aamupala ja päivällinen olivat todella hyviä. Henkilökunta oli todella ystävällistä. Maisemat huoneesta olivat upeat. Ainoa miinus oli huono äänieristys huoneiden välillä. Ihmisten puhe kuului selkeästi toisista huoneista. Saimme siitä huolimatta nukuttua hyvin.

• Petra (10/5): - Very comfy 2 day stay at the end of our pob hike. The family running the place is kind and welcoming. They were very helpful to my friend who had some problems during the trip. We loved our room and enjoyed sitting on the balcony with the nice view. All the food was tasty and plentiful but I particularly enjoyed baklava :)

• Masataro (10/5): 最高！ - 最高の宿でした！朝食・夕食もおいしい家庭料理で満足です。夕食15EUR 宿付近(約1km手前)まではシュコダルからアスファルトで舗装されており、車で簡単にアクセスできます。 *4WD不要ですが、道幅は相当狭いため、すれ違いの難易度が高く小さめの車を推奨します。 *人気観光地のため、対向車との遭遇はかなり多かったです。 ブルーアイ・バルボナピークへいずれも近く、近くにスーパーもある好立地です。(そもそも宿で購入できるドリンクが一般的な価格で安い、ビール2EUR) トレッキング用にランチパック5EUR(ボリュームのあるサンドイッチ+α+水ボトル)も最高でした。 持ち込んだアルコールを冷やすため、限られたスペースですが、冷蔵庫の一部を使わせていただき大変助かりました！ シャワールームが狭く、体格の良い方は少し大変かもしれません。

• Stuart (10/5): Very Welcoming Guesthouse! - Super friendly hosts, make you feel very welcome and looked after! The food at the guesthouse is so delicious and generous (dinner for €15 & brek incl). The rooms are spacious and comfy, location is good - short walk to little market or river swim.
