The staff were very welcoming and always ready to help. They gave us useful tips for places to visit and great restaurant recommendations, which made our stay much better. There was nothing significant to complain about. Everything met our expectations.

The place was very clean, and hygiene was clearly a top priority. I also felt very safe during my stay. The location was perfect, only about a 2-minute walk to the metro station that connects directly to the airport. Everything was just great. Honestly, there was nothing I didn’t like. Everything exceeded my expectations, and I was very satisfied with my stay.

• Sarah (8/5): Vom Preis-Leistungsverhältnis vermutlich nicht zu schlagen - Zimmer hat eine komfortable Größe, sehr gute Metroanbindung ins Zentrum, hervorragende und günstige Cafés und Restaurants auf Empfehlung der Gastgeberin in unmittelbarer Nähe der Unterkunft, gutes Wlan, sehr gutes Preis-Leistungsverhältnis, bequemes Bett Badezimmer könnte sauberer sein - insbesondere der Teppich; der Mann macht nie die Klobrille nach der Nutzung wieder runter- muss man wissen, ob man das will. Benutztes Klopapier kann aufgrund der alten Rohre nur in den Mülleimer und nicht in die Toilette geworfen werden. Direkt an einem Platz gelegen, daher auch nachts lange sehr laut und auch in der Wohnung wird relativ abends laut Fernsehen geguckt

• Eva (8/5): - The host was so friendly! He had great tips about restaurants and supermarkets! The beds were also very comfortable and the location in Athens is great! Just outside of the tourist centre but a lot of great places in the neighbourhood and not expensive at all! We really enjoyed our stay :) For us it was really not a problem at all, but maybe for other visitors it's good to know that you can't really cook in the kitchen (but you can use cutlery, plates, ...) and to just know that it is a shared place so if you really want your privacy that maybe this is not the best option. But again for us students this was the perfect place to stay!

• Carla (9/5): - Habitación muy convenientemente ubicada. Se puede ir andando a todas partes. Está a 10 minutos a pie del Museo Arqueológico Nacional y a 30 de Monastiraki. Muy bien conectada con transporte público. Fácil también para llegar desde el aeropuerto. La habitación era muy amplia con una terraza espectacular en la que daba el solecito por la mañana. Muy buenos anfitriones.

The landlord was incredibly warm and welcoming—not only did he allow us to check in early, but he also kindly treated us to delicious Iranian-style soup and his own homemade grilled chicken wings, which were absolutely tasty. The room itself was cozy and comfortable, featuring a large balcony filled with various plants and flowers, overlooking a small square outside. The apartment was fully equipped with everything we needed: reliable hot water in the bathroom, and a well-stocked kitchen with plenty of pots, pans, and dishes, making it very convenient for cooking. Located right in the city center, the apartment offers great transportation access—there’s a subway station right at the doorstep, making it easy to get around. Overall, it was a wonderful stay, and I’d definitely encourage others to book here! nothing

• Ronald (10/5): Great location, gracious host, nice view from the room. - This is a very central location, close to metro and dining. I enjoyed a lot of Athens on foot from here. It was a very relaxing stay in a central spot with no worries about transportation. The host is very helpful and I would highly recommend his place.

• James (9/5): Great place, great people - Loved meeting Javad and Andrea , they were the loveliest most helpful hosts. Great location right by the metro and easy to get everywhere. Communications and directions were excellent and our room was large and spacious. Nothing.

The room’s gallery was a lovely touch, and he also shared great recommendations for food spots and nearby attractions. I do wish it had been mentioned that Javad, the owner, lives on the property. It wasn’t an issue during our stay, but having that information upfront would’ve been helpful.

Die Lage war dezentral genug, dass es nicht keine Touristischen Preise in den Lokalen gab, man war trotzdem durch die Metro innerhalb von 10 min bei der Akropolis. Es handelt sich um ein Hosting bei einer privaten Person, mit der man sich Küche, Bad usw teilt.

• Eden (10/5): Javad is an amazing host and made our short stay in Athens a great one. Would stay again. - Javad was absolutely lovely, super responsive host with loads of useful information and great tips for getting around and seeing the most of Athens. He sat down with us and hand drew us a map with all the best places to eat, sites to see and explained the best way to get between each point of interest. He was incredibly kind and generous, and with his instructions the apartment was very easy to find. The souvlaki restaurant just downstairs a few doors up has the best gyros and falafel we tried in Athens. The room was spacious with plenty of storage for bags and clothing, the bed was big and comfortable. The air conditioning worked great and the window let in lots of natural light and the cool evening breeze when we wanted. The shared bathroom had a good size shower and we were able to use the washing machine which was super appreciated. The shared kitchen and living space were cozy and had everything we needed. Elevator to the 4th floor very convenient. We liked everything and it was great for us, but if you are very sensitive to light definitely bring a sleep mask as the light comes through the window and the internal doors to the room.

The host was amazing and friendly which gave us many tips about city and what to avoid. The apartment itself was a share room with comfortable bed for two and clean with a nice balcony. All the stuff we need was available in the kitchen and bathroom.
• Weronika (10/5): Good location and nice hosts! - Where I noticed that previous guests did not like sharing the space with the owners, we felt like we were staying with a family member. Andrea was always happy to help, advise and have a friendly chat about life. We stayed there for 3 days and we had a good time. AC saved us from overheating and the beautiful balcony gave us some romantic-wine moments in the evening. We will come back! If your room is to the Victoria Square it's always a bit noisy but closing the balcony should mute most of it. For the place itself, quiet hours don't really apply if the apartament is filled with chatty guests 😅.

The location was not easily recognized because of unfamiliarity. A nice gentleman helped me. The floors in the building are not marked - I ended up on the wrong floor and I certainly wouldn't take an elevator after the experience I had in an elevator the previous day in a different location!

The room was comfortable and clean, and the kitchen/bathroom facilities had everything you could need. Location was great, steps from a metro station connecting you to the airport/port/town, and all main sites were walking distance or 2 metro stops away. And on top of that, it was an excellent price. Highly recommend!

Non touristy, interesting, cosmopolitan district with budget friendly food options right at your doorstep. Felt safe when I arrived as a solo female. And the most important thing - unlike many other places I've stayed in Greece during winter, this flat was actually very well heated and super warm!

Two bathrooms in the house so its confortable to stay even if there are other guests. The neighbourhood is next to the city center ( you can reach it walking) and full or restaurants and cafe delicious and less expensive than the city center obviously. We recommend Javal's house! • Marina (10/5): Exceptional - Location is very good, easy to reach centre and main sightseeins. Very helpful and kind owner made our stay there even more comfortable. He let us change the room to use the balcony, which has a brilliant view of the city and Victorias Square. The room was clean and kitchen equipped with all necessary stuff so we could make breakfast there before leaving for city explore. No complaints. It was good value for money.

The host is good in communication. -Everything dirty and the room is a bit smelly. -I had a few bites every night, and I assume they were from bedbugs, as mentioned in many other reviews. -The host often talking loudly on the phone or with friends and you can hear everything in the room. - A bit rough area. - Broken window cover, you can't open it properly, so the room is dark even during the day.

Obviously the host tried to convince me it's the first time it happens and suggested I brought them with my bag but if you read previous reviews it's not the first time guest find bedbugs here. I had to sleep on the couch (the host helped me turn it into bed) and search for other place to stay the following night which I had already paid here
