• James (10/5): The best weekend break we`ve ever had. - Katrien greeted us on arrival and spent time asking if there was anything we wanted to know about Bruges and what to see. She gave us recommendation's for food and drink, all of which we did and was exceptional. This B&B is also her home and it was stunning! Such a beautiful home and in a quiet area of Bruges. Nothing is too far to walk to and you can be in the centre of Bruges in 10 minutes. Secure parking, comfortable bed, spacious bathroom and a lovely place to be. Having to go home.
• jose (8/5): - lekkere bedden en meerdere kussen opties. Badkamer schoon en van alle gemakken voorzien. Je loopt zo de stad in, Brugge is fantastisch een haakje voor je jas bij binnenkomst zou een leuke aanvulling zijn (was nu in badkamer)

La théière et ses propositions de thé et café compensent un peu l'absence de petit déjeuner. 2 des 4 lits étaient très très mous. On a été surprise d'apprendre qu'il s'agissait d'une qualité hôtelière Haut de gamme. On n'a pas compris.
• Astrid (10/5): Fantastische B&B op een mooie locatie. - Vriendelijke gastvrouw Katrien en een warm ontvangst. Leuke tips gekregen van restaurants en over Brugge. Goed te bereiken met de auto. Er is een mogelijkheid om de auto te parkeren op het terrein, reservering aanbevolen. Locatie is op loopafstand naar het centrum van Brugge. Mooie kamer met goed bed/badkamer en schoon. Uitzicht op een park en rustige straat. Zeker een aanrader voor Brugge te bezoeken. N.v.t.

• Sebastian (10/5): - Ein sehr schönes Zimmer - geschmackvoll eingerichtet und alles war sehr hochwertig. Das Bad war groß, sauber und voll ausgestattet (Handtücher, Fön, Pflegeprodukte von Rituals). Die Lage war top: ruhig gelegen, dennoch in wenigen Fußminuten in der großen Einkaufsstraße und im Zentrum. Die Gastgeberin hatte uns viele Tipps zu Restaurants und Sehenswürdigkeiten gegeben, was sehr hilfreich war. Insgesamt ein wunderbarer Aufenthalt! ---

• Carrie (10/5): A wonderful B&B that's super clean and comfortable and easy walking distance to all! - This was an absolutely wonderful B&B! The owner, Katrien, was super sweet and helpful. When we arrived, she warmly welcomed us and gave us great recommendations on what to do, where to go, and exactly how to get there. We kept her map and suggestions with us at all times and found it to be very accurate. On our second night, we made a point of going to the nearby locals' restaurant she recommended, and we LOVED it! We were wishing we had another night in town so that we could go back the following night! On the day we left, we were very grateful to be able to first leave our luggage in the lobby (or behind the scenes) until later when it was time for us to leave the city and walk over to board our boat. Our whole two days in Brugge were exceptional and much of that assessment was due to Katrien and her wonderful B&B. We feel very fortunate to have found it and are definitely planning to come back, hopefully in the near future! Zero complaints or concerns.

• Connie (7/5): Locatie - Prachtig pand op een rustige locatie. In de douche was geen handdouche. Door omstandigheid geen ontbijt, jammer dat dit niet goed was gecommuniceerd.
• Mariska (10/5): Een heerlijk verblijf die ik zeker kan aanbevelen. - Je loopt binnen enkele minuten zo de stad in. Het verblijf is ruim en heel netjes schoon. Ook staat er heerlijke Rituals shampoo, bodylotion ed. Katrien is een heel aardig persoon die veel over Brugge weet te vertellen.

Jammer dat het erg warm was in de kamer en frisse lucht wat lastig was om binnen te laten met kantel kiep stand. Begrijpelijk maar een geplastificeerd onderlaken hielp daar niet aan mee!

• Joanne (10/5): Excellent location, great host would definitely stay here again. - Katrien was a fabulous host. Correspondence before our arrival was timely and Katrien greeted us on arrival. The hotel was in an excellent location, being a 5 minute walk to the main shopping streets. The room was large and comfortable and we parked our car in the car park at the rear of the property. Our ferry was bumped to a later one and Katrien let us keep our car in the car park after our check out time so that we could explore Brugge some more. The room didn't have any rugs or carpet and would have been nice to have some slippers.

• Vlasios (10/5): Perfect place for a short get-away, we would highly recommend it and we would love to visit again. - Spend 2 night there, end of November 2023. Great place, right in the heart of Bruges. Excellent communication with the host, she was happy to answer all our questions, help us navigate around the city and making us feel comfortable. This is exactly the hospitality you would expect from a family-run place. Room: Very nice, hardwood flooring, perfectly clean. Mainly, very spacious, not crammed like a usual hotel room. Location: 3 min walking time from one of the two main roads. 10 min walking time to the central square. Getting there: 12 mins by bus from the train station, or 10 mins by taxi (around 12 euros). After that, you will probably not need another mode of transport as I think you could walk all around Bruges. The B&B does offer some bikes for rent, though, if you prefer that. Restaurants: If you go during a popular season, make plans and reserve tables beforehand as most fine dining places were fully booked and you could not walk-in.
• Felicity (9/5): Superb - B&B Huyze Weyne is lovely, very elegantly decorated and ideally situated for the centre of Bruges. But I’m writing the review because the level of customer service was so good. I was unfortunately taken ill whilst I was there, and they were so helpful - bringing extra supplies and checking if I was ok and if I needed anything else. Truly exceptional service!

• Harry (8/5): A pleasant base for a weekend getaway. - Host was friendly. Room was comfy and clean. Bathroom was clean with a nice big shower head. The toilet was separated from the main bathroom by a plaster wall. While this is a great idea, the space allocated was not sufficient, and I was squished in uncomfortably. Not a 'didn't like' but an 'even better if', the shower could have been improved with a second head for directed washing, as the main head is immobile.

• Julia (10/5): An amazing short stay in a wonderful city full of culture, beer, chocolate and ice cream. - A beautiful house/home with an amazing garden, Katrien and her family were very welcoming and gave us so much advice and information on places to visit and eat. Huyze Weyne is just a small stroll into the main town yet being situated in a small side street, it is quiet and peaceful. Would highly recommend a stay at Huyze Weyne.

• Denis (9/5): B&b Huyze Wayne - Very friendly and welcoming owner including info and maps for Bruge, room was properly insulated both thermally and for sound, very nice views over garden, extra large room with spacious bathroom and located 5mins walk to the centre. Really pleased to have stayed here and definitely recommend. Nothing really cos the only issue we had was the mattress topper which we simply removed cos of our bad backs.

• Ruth (9/5): Perfect location for a Bruge weekend - The host Katrien was so welcoming and had good communication before we arrived. Was able to accommodate our earlier arrival and shared with us a map with some highlights to visit. The location of the B&B is great - close enough to walk to the centre in 10 minutes but quiet off the main streets. Breakfast was super too - good range of continental food and even a little Belgian speciality too. Little gestures all made the difference - lots of thought gone into making the room welcoming, including tea and coffee and honesty fridge of refreshments. Great location a short walk from city - I could not fault this property at all, the location, rooms, beds, breakfast and all the little touches were wonderful. Katrien was an amazing host - considerate and attentive with a wealth of information. The location is fab, across the road from a park with playground & literally 5 minutes walk to the centre of town. There literally wasn't anything we can think of which we didn't like.
