• Luke (10/5): Best place to stay in the Ostschweiz - Very friendly staff, beautiful hotel in the mountains with a nice garden. The breakfast exceeded our expectations. We had such a wonderful stay. You can take the bus (Postauto) from the station that's just outside the hotel to visit Säntis.

Nice garden.Coffee/tea/ fruit all day available (included) We had a good meal in the nearby restaurant with also very friendly staff. Very good breakfast! (About 15 euro's pp, but worth it!) Would have liked a smaller cushion, but that is a personal preference Very good value for money, would happily stay again!

• Uwe (8/5): Absolut Erholsam (nur zu kurz 😁) - Die Lage war perfekt für jeden der nach Ruhe, Entspannung und Natur sucht. Ein kleiner Kühlschrank im Zimmer wäre schön gewesen.

• Karin (9/5): Gern wieder einmal :)! - Alles sehr gut. Die Besitzer sind extrem liebenswürdig und der Garten mit Sitzgelegenheiten ist prächtig. Falls man möchte, gibt es Getränke in einem Kühlschrank quasi zum Selbstkostenpreis, also sehr günstig. Kässeli ist auch da. Also alles auf Vertrauensbasis. Die Zimmer sind mit Balkonen ausgestattet. Ich kam ins Gespräch mit meinen Nachbarn, was sehr interessant war. Es tut mir leid, das sagen zu müssen: mein Zimmer roch ziemlich müffelig (Nr.8). Aber insgesamt war ich äusserst zufrieden, habe gut geschlafen und war in der Nähe der Wandergebiete.

• Linda (9/5): A slice of real Swiss life - The hosts were great; though we only spoke English and they spoke Swiss German they found a way to understand our requests including asking an adult son to come over to translate. It is in a rural location so there is limited shopping nearby. But we chose the location because we were planning to take an evening cable car to the top of Santis mountain. It is conveniently located close to the awe-insnspiring mountain. When you stay here, you'll have a clean place to lay your head and feel like you're seeing life in Switzerland as so many folks live it.We had a delightful experience there.

• Michal (3/5): Poor - the view is really nice The place is rather substandard: the rooms are small, with very low ceilings, so you need to keep the windows open to let some fresh air in, which makes the daily 5.30 a.m. church bells even more annoying. In the kitchen, the ceiling is at 1,80, so if you're any taller, you literally cannot keep your head straight. All of these would have been acceptable though if the landlady hated her guests a bit less. Avoid at all costs!
