In addition, we were entertained by their sheep dog carefully, herding the chickens. Finally, the owner had thought of everything one would need. Thank you 😊 Absolutely nothing.

The backyard view - We stayed at Vernon Country Cottage B&B to celebrate my wife’s 30th birthday, and it was perfect. The backyard view is stunning, the garden is peaceful and vibrant, and the trail behind the property was great for a quiet walk. The interior decor is cozy and charming, and the hospitality was warm and thoughtful—especially with the birthday touches. The breakfast spread was fresh, delicious, and beautifully presented. A perfect couples’ getaway in a quiet, scenic setting. Highly recommended!

• Diane (9/5): I would stay here again! - It was a cozy little apartment with a well equipped kitchen, bedroom & bathroom. It was at ground level and we had access to an outdoor table, back yard and a walking/cycling path. Also, there was a great pub recommended to us that was a short drive away, called 1516 Pub. The breakfast was brought in to us and was delicious! It was quite far from the centre of Vernon.

Breakfasts were amazing! All the bugs in the back patio. Though it didn’t stop us from enjoying the back patio.
• Terry (9/5): Clean, Comfortable, Awkward configuration. - Clean, comfortable bed, convenient location for access to the Rise Golf Course. Configuration of unit was awkward, no daily room cleaning, had to request clean towels mid stay.
• Dawn (9/5): Lovely spot. Quiet and way in nature. - The home is set in a lovely garden. The B and B has a lovely patio and the property backs into farmland. Cows are free roaming, which I love. There is a nice walking trail too. The breakfast was excellent. Not that I disliked anything, but I found not meeting the owners a little disconcerting as we weee staying in their home. We had a very brief hello as we were leaving.
• Bettina (10/5): Exceptional - Note that this property is not in downtown Vernon. But that is what makes it great. It is in a quiet area. Great for relaxing. The back deck is a great place to sit and read and/or have breakfast. The breakfast was really good (choice of cereal, yoghurt, breads/muffins/ hard boiled eggs/juice). There is a paved path out the back which is nice for walking. Very nice hosts.

The view from the garden as well as from the bedroom is gorgeous. Enjoying the great breakfast on the porch was a picturesque start in the day. There is a very chilled dog.

Warm hosts. - We wanted to stay a little ways outside the downtown area in a place that had a quiet cool garden and spent many hours enjoying our hosts pretty treed yard, lots of birds and lovely view of the fields beyond the back gate to the trail. I miss it already. The suite was spotlessly clean with everything you might need during your visit including a kitchenette and had a private entrance. There were even beach towels and nice white bathrobes. Breakfast was continental and more than filling with two trays of tasty things to start the day. The screened windows opened for fresh air while we slept. Zero complaints.

Wonderful room, beautifully decorated, a very comfortable bed, and a fantastic breakfast on the patio with the most gorgeous view to send us on our way. We're so happy we found this place.

• Ck (5/5): Quaint but awkward - Pretty home. Well maintained. Delicious brekkie. Pet friendly. Beautiful surroundings. Sharing the stay/accommodation with the home owners daughter. Room doors are not well labelled, and since guests assume they have the space to themselves, awkward discovering that they are not alone and are sharing a space. Very awkward as this was not mentioned in the description and her bedroom is on the same floor.
