Guest Reviews
- Chris (10/5): Great affordable hotel in Bangkok near many of our favorite attractions. - The location was great for walking to many of tue places we wanted to visit. It was down a side street so very quiet and quaint. The room was spacious. The air conditioning was good. The bathroom was a bit dingy and the toilet paper fell off the wall repeatedly. We never saw a staff member after we were given the key.

- Denis (10/5): This is a very nice, clean, unusual, and unique place near ICONSIAM. I really liked staying here and would love to come - Nice location. Clean place. Loved the style and design of the hotel — very unique and unusual. Pet friendly. Poor sound insulation — it was easy to hear noise from other rooms.

- Ruoxu (8/5): - Vintage decoration style. Location (quiet and near to ICONSIAM).

- Vlasova (8/5): - Absolutely stunning design. I lived like in a museum. Loved the ambience and how cool everything was furnished Unfortunately my room wasn’t cleaned even once. I stayed for 8 days and nobody came although I hung a sign to make the room. The Internet was okay but I had to reconnect at times
- Pascal (10/5): Was amazing - Was perfect!! Home feeling❤️ Shower

- Melanie (7/5): It was a good pet friendly property in a good location - The room was spacious and had beautiful brick walls and french windows. The owner was nice and welcoming, and the cleaner lady didn't speak a word of English, but she was helpful and nice. They should spray for cockroaches, as twice I saw big ones crawl under my door and I had to put a towel under my door to keep them from crawling in.
The furniture (like the head of the bed and the wood closet, shelves, etc.) needed dusting. But other than that it was pretty clean.

- LanaSvet (10/5): - J No.14 at BTS Krung Thon Buri is amazing! Incredible design, cozy, and comfortable. Everything is close by: transportation, 7-Eleven, and a very helpful owner. A unique place with a soul, I highly recommend it! I liked everything.
- Iselin (10/5): - Quiet area and nice atmosphere. Felt like staying in a museum, with very thoughtful interior and exterior. Comfortable beds and clean. Common area not ventilated or with air con, made it difficult to work from there.
- Raven (10/5): - Very different vibe to most of the hotels in the city, but it’s what made the place so good. Rooms were a great size and they had Netflix on the tv The sink handle was a bit squiffy

- Anonimo (7/5): Good… - A very fancy and fashionable place…in a great location…although there is no staff presence. Only a very kind a sweet lady that welcomed you with the most kind smile. It says it all. If you need to ask for a towel or something urgent, out of the running hours you will only have access to a phone number. You are in a very quiet zone with quick access everywhere. More attention to detail in terms of cleaning and housekeeping stuff (towels and math bath). Deep cleaning under the matress and bed itself it’s a must and must be done daily…
- Susan (9/5): -
- roberto (10/5): - Struttura particolare e accogliente
- nicola (1/5): Auf keinen Fall empfehlenswert..
- Φαιδρα (7/5): Value for money - The staff was very polite and ready to assist every guest.
The location was very close to the BTS station It needs a lot of improvement in cleanliness, the bed creaked and there was no soundproofing at all.
- Mikhail (8/5): - The hidden gem, didn’t expect such a museum Little bit dusty all over the hotel, recommend to use dust cleaner brush. The Wi-Fi isn’t working in room number 10, because it was far away of lobby, just need to buy Wi-Fi extender.
- Anna (7/5): -
- roberto (8/5): - Accoglienza, Stanze e ambiente con arredamento particolare.

- DULCINEA (9/5): Art museum feels - *Loved the design and overall ambiance especially during the day, it's like a compact art museum
*Complimentary water and coffee/tea on the ground floor
*Thai lady staff was really nice and helpful
*The owner(s) was very considerate as we checked in at an odd timing, gave us clear instructions on how to check in and check out was a breeze *Squeaky bed but it's ok
*Hope you can add iron and board (even on the ground floor)

- Nhi (8/5): - the space is very impressive, the location is near the train station and there is a convenience store and laundry nearby. but we seemed to be the only guests there and no staff, a bit lonely.
- Alex (9/5): -
- John (9/5): Wonderful, quiet, comfortable.....a perfect place to stay in Bangkok. -
- Anuwat (7/5): -
- Jane (8/5): -
- Sherman (10/5): Exceptional - Great location nearby public transportation It is convenient by walk to grocery stores, coffee shops and restaurants as well
- The (5/5): It was a short stay. No issues. Had seen a few roaches in my room. No staff present during the evenings and before 9. - The decor was pretty neat. No mention of pet weight restrictions. My dog is 20 kg. So I had to pay 300 baht a night for her.
- Taiki (10/5): Exceptional - Loved the interiors. Very industrial design. This isn’t the fault of the property but I did not have any signals around the property. So recommend to download the map in advance.
- John (10/5): Exceptional -
- John (10/5): A wonderful, quiet home-away-from-home and the perfect place to start travels in Thailand. -
- Dmitrijs (10/5): Exceptional -
- Brown (10/5): A Great Place to Stay in Thailand - It is in a great location, just a few minutes walk from a train and bus station which can get you anywhere in Bangkok. There are great street food outside as well 7-ELEVEN. Rooms where clean and really nice for the price. Really no complaints. The staff is very rarely seen, but are super helpful when you need them.
- Sofie (10/5): Perfekt! - Easy to selv check in/out. Very nice hotell!
- Joshua (10/5): A lovely surprise - Cool and quirky, safe neighbourhood and lovely staff very helpful Great for price
- Assawasetthaporn (6/5): Pleasant - Near BTS Bed is not comfort
- Chonkame (8/5): Great location with great aesthetic stay. - Great location and every corner is a picture worthy place. We took plenty of time exploring and taking pictures in the morning when light hits perfectly on the halls.
Also, exceptionally clean rooms Our luggage was heavy so no lifts and had to carry through the stairs which is tough as it was only me & my mother.
Since they dont provide breakfast, it would have been great if there was electric kettle in the room.
- Jeff (10/5): Fun place highly recommend - Really liked the vibe of the place very close to train and mall, the owner was very nice and helpful
- Cydney (10/5): Harry Potter Land - The location was perfect. The interior was whimsical! Reminded me of Harry Potter. The owners were very nice and welcoming. The cleaner was fantastic!
- Jefffrombrantford (10/5): Very cool looking place in a great location. - Very cool looking place, very easy check-in and check-out It would be nice to have a place to put some clothes.
- Anna (9/5): Beautiful vintage place in the quiet area - I really liked the place and the location. The staff was very friendly, they let me in before the check in time.
It's very beautiful inside, the room is big, the bed is comfy.
I asked to change one sheet and they did it immediately.
Will come again. I was lucky, but it can be noisy if your neighbors are noisy
- Melanie (8/5): Very good -
- Morgan (7/5): Good -
- Steven (1/5): Given the state of the room, we refused to stay the night and instead drove back to Suvarnabhumi Airport, where we had p - Nothing, it was dirty and had mosquitoes The overall cleanliness of the hotel was appalling. The entire place had a stale, unpleasant smell, and it was clear that maintenance was lacking. Despite the hotel’s attempt at a ‘quirky, nostalgic’ aesthetic, in reality, it is run-down, neglected, and unhygienic.
- Nigel (9/5): Good location and comfortable, relaxing stay. - Very characterful. Nicely decorated. Steel beds were a bit squeaky
- Ruel (8/5): Very good -
- Noppakoch (9/5): Superb -
- Kornkanok (10/5): Exceptional -
- Meremajake (10/5): Very cute romantic boutique hotel - Location and very unique and antique hotel style
- Hughes (8/5): Very good -
- Caroline (8/5): Very good - Loved the design of the property No staff available in the evening
- Mariami (8/5): Very good -
- Mariami (8/5): Very good -

- Arthur (10/5): Go back 100 years - A luxurious designer hotel with attention to detail. Felt like the heroes of a novel from the last century. The perfect place to escape the bustle of the city and feel like a native Bangkok resident. Close to the metro and convenient to get around by bike. Nearby is the best shopping center in the world - Icon Siam.
- Anne (8/5): Excellent - We enjoyed our time at J 14 we will definitely consider booking again when we come back, the interior feels like a time capsule which is an interesting contrast to Bangkok city itself. It’s an amazing place! No A/C units in the common area
- Valerie (10/5): Captivating Eccentric Vibes - Staying at J.No 14 Lodge was an experience unlike any other! This place has such an eccentric vibe that immediately captivates you. From the quirky decor to the unique design elements, every corner of the lodge tells a story. It's clear that a lot of thought and creativity went into creating this charming retreat.
What truly made my stay memorable, though, was meeting the owner Jet at the end of my stay! She welcomed me with genuine warmth and made sure I had everything I needed throughout my time there. Her enthusiasm for the lodge and the area was infectious, and she was full of great recommendations for local food spots and hidden gems.
The room itself was cozy and comfortable, blending the lodge's eclectic style with modern amenities seamlessly. It was evident that the host pays attention to detail, ensuring that guests have a comfortable and enjoyable stay.
The location of J.No 14 Lodge was also perfect for exploring the area around Icon Siam. Whether you're a solo traveler or visiting with friends, this place offers a unique and memorable stay. I can't wait to return and immerse myself in the quirky charm of J.No 14 Lodge again!
- Rakhmatulin (8/5): Very good - Quiet location in big city, but it is walkable. Laundry and 7eleven is very close to. Very stylish and interesting indoor design. Very nice and friendly owners: mom and daughter. Very uncomfortable bed (matress) that didn't allow us to sleep well. Very hot inside the unit and the room that could be solved by air conditioning, but it needs 5 mins for it.
- John (9/5): Great feel and comfort - The place is very cool with a country western feel. All sorts of cool things to look at in this little boutique hotel. Will star here again when i need in that area of Bangkok The only proglem is parking. There are really no places to park. They have room for one or two cars and the are lined up in a slim ally. If you need to leave, the car behind you needs back up to the main road to let the other car out. This is really not a deal breaker but could be a problem if more than one guest is staying and has a car.
- Sakuntala (8/5): Very good -
- Simina (9/5): Superb - I absolutely adored the interior! This place is very uniquely decorated with memorabilia from all over the world. The room was spacious and clean. The owner is a very friendly, quirky person. She helped me with getting around for visiting Bangkok and surroundings. I enjoyed my stay very much and will gladly come again. It's not super central, but it's located in a quiet area.
- Pluemkamol (10/5): Exceptional - I really like room The room is very clean, the air conditioner is cool, the bathroom is clean, there is water provided as well. There are a lot of corners to take photos, peaceful, near 7-Eleven.
- Sheptunka (7/5): Good -
- Anonymous (10/5): Lovely - It’s beautiful and quite The room we stayed was nice, big, and clean, the only thing is the bathroom light is a bit dark, not easy for ladies to apply make-ups, but I notice there is a desk, maybe just a small make-up mirror on the desk would help in the future. The hotel decor is excellent, why you guys do not open a bar at the lobby, just some beer, liquorand juice, or get a vending machine so you do not need to hire another person there. Lastly, if the lobby have air conditioner would be even better~
- Valeria (8/5): Very good -
- Kehan (10/5): Exceptional - Left in a hurry. I wish I could stay more time in this nature history museum hotel. This is not the place for a prefect fancy eve but the archaic interior really shines your camera both day and night.
Don’t forget to check address with your driver it may navigate to another yard.
- Nartanong (10/5): Exceptional -
- Jarunan (8/5): Very good -
- Stephen (10/5): Exceptional -
- Alice (4/5): Disappointing - The aircon is good and the rooms clean. The space is interesting with old relics. The family who run it are very nice. Unfortunately it’s operating more like a basic Airbnb than a hotel. There is no breakfast option anymore (since covid) and the rooms aren’t freshened up. We thought there would be spaces to hang out in and recoup from the busy city. It wasn’t a space we wanted to spend much time in and we ended up leaving early.
- Varaxbudd (8/5): Very good -
- Hasanah (10/5): Comfy night in a rustic location - The room Nothing
- Yuen (1/5): I was handcuffed and detained by the police - The location is about 15 minutes walk from IconSiam. Its about 10 minutes walk from the closest BTS station and Metro station. There are three convenience stores within walking distance. 28 hours after checking out of the property, the manager informed me that I had damaged some parts of the floor. I went back and to talk to the manager about the damages; however, the room had already been occupied by other guests. I was not convinced that I had caused those damages beyond a reasonable doubt; thus we couldn't come to an agreement. The manager called the police as a result. I was taken to the police station in handcuffs and detained for 2 hours.
I had requested in advance a late check-in between 8-9 pm. However, the accommodation was locked and no one was there. I had to make local calls to get help; it was a little frustrating.
Toiletries consisted shampoo and body soap. Housekeeping happened once during my four nights of stay. Bathrobe was not offered as advertised. Wifi worked on the first two nights but not anymore.
- Emma (6/5): Does the basics nothing more. yes place is quirky with museum feel. - Quiet place
Nice neighborhood, feels very local, safe, ten mins walk or so to BTS and pier. 7/11, hairdresser and laundry nearby. Room quite humid- might feel a bit damp in rainy season.
Ground floor room a bit dark
- Hasanah (10/5): This is a hidden gem and host was very welcoming and extremely friendly and even greet me with my name when I walk in - Quaint and very rustic. Nothing
- Lorenzo (3/5): very disappointing - - hotel closed upon arrival - can you even imagine. they simply don’t check if there are reservations made through booking
- asked for a small discount as compensation and got a non customer centric ‘nope because the rate is already low’
- room was very hot - airco needed to blast full power for 1 hour to make it reasonable
- very bad sleep : crying loud cats on the roof and in street as from 3AM
- could only pay in cash, which I don’t expect in a decent looking hotel.
- Ruby (7/5): Good -
- Mike (10/5): great host! - artistic and super special
- Dorothy (9/5): It was comfortable, interesting, sparklingly clean, altogether a wonderful experience. - Loved the house and all the quirky antiques, beautifully arranged and collected. Loved the area, very authentic and tranquil, not that central but everything central is touristy and noisy. Nothing, it was all perfect.
