The pictures on booking.com and their professional website are obviously gorgeous, but they did not prepare me for how stunning this B&B would be in person. The owners were beyond lovely and accommodating. The lodgings looked like something out of a movie/my daydreams in which I win a lottery, flee the continent, and have unlimited funds to renovate a townhouse. The breakfast was excellent and very reasonably priced. I almost felt guilty for our nightly rate - I felt like I was stealing from them! I’m trying sooooo hard to think of something/ANYTHING to put in this box rather than leaving it empty, but I simply cannot. It exceeded the expectations of my wildest dreams.

From the warm welcome we received from our host to our gorgeous room on the canal, the beautiful garden and wonderful breakfast, we felt truly spoiled. - H.R. van (10/5): Heerlijk weekend gehad in deze moderne maar knusse B&B op een rustige locatie vlak bij het centrum van Brugge, met e - Wij hebben een heerlijk weekend gehad in deze B&B in Brugge. De locatie is ideaal: rustig gelegen maar toch slechts 10 à 15 minuten lopen naar het centrum. Erg prettig was dat we via de B&B een garagebox konden huren op een paar minuten loopafstand. De kamer was modern ingericht, maar tegelijk warm en huiselijk. Fijn dat er een koelkast, koffiezetapparaat en waterkoker aanwezig waren en dat je een karaf water kon vullen bij de ontbijtruimte. De sfeer in de B&B is ontspannen en gastvrij. Lieve deed haar naam echt eer aan: een ontzettend vriendelijke gastvrouw die ons hartelijk ontving en goede tips gaf over wat er in Brugge te zien en te doen is. Ook het uitchecken tot 11:00 uur vonden wij een groot pluspunt. Daardoor kun je ’s ochtends rustig opstarten en echt genieten van een Bourgondisch weekend in Brugge. Wat ons betreft absoluut een aanrader!

De bedden zijn zeer comfortabel en we hebben op een ochtend toch het ontbijt erbij geboekt, omdat het er erg goed uitzag. Stelde niet teleur. Benieuwd hoe de tuin er in de zomer uit zal zien. Mooie douche die nog beter was als de waterdruk iets hoger zou zijn geweest.

The room was very spacious with a very comfortable bed. Our room overlooked the canal. There is a beautiful private garden if you want some seclusion. The hosts could not have been more welcoming or helpful providing maps, guide books and a detailed explanation of the town and sites. The breakfast was quite substantial with plenty of selection of fresh meat, cheese, fruit and pastries etc accompanied by bacon and eggs cooked to your liking! No need for lunch. Nothing!

Hele aardige mensen, fantastisch huis en geweldig ligging net zo buiten de drukte. Eigenlijk niets! Deze mensen hebben het voor elkaar. Kunnen er vele een voorbeeld aan nemen.

Rustig en tegelijk zeer centraal gelegen Loopafstand tot de Grote Markt max. 5 minuten Lieve en zeer behulpzame gastvrouw, die je een warm welkom heet. De haard in de kamer, echt gaaf! Eigen parkeergelegenheid (betaald) op 12 minuten loopafstand Wi jkunnen deze B&B van harte aanbevelen en mochten we Brugge nog eens bezoeken, dan graag weer op dit adres. Wij hadden niets aan te merken

- Susanne (9/5): Heerlijk verblijf in het mooie Brugge - De ligging , de inrichting (zeker met kerst), de ontvangst en toegang , de heerlijke bedden. Het ontbijt was behoorlijk prijzig voor de keuzemogelijkheden, de kwaliteit was goed en er was ruim voldoende.
- Ângela (10/5): Comodidade e requinte. - Antes de nos deslocarmos (viajamos de Bruxelas até Brugge) contactamos o alojamento no intuito de saber se podiam guardar as nossas bagagens; foram super rápidos na resposta e solícitos ao nosso pedido. Assim que chegamos a Brugges fomos até ao alojamento que se trata de uma casa antiga que foi restaurada e totalmente adaptada ao turismo. Visitamos na semana após o Natal e estava tudo impecavelmente decorado, quer no interior, quer no exterior do edifício. Apesar de o check-in ser somente às 16h, guardaram-nos as malas. Fomos recebidos pela dona que foi de uma simpatia extrema, explicando-nos tudo de forma exaustiva, forneceu-nos um mapa marcando nele todos os pontos de interesse e ainda nos emprestou um livro turístico que falava sobre todas as atrações. O quarto onde ficamos estava situado no 2º andar. Apesar de não existir elevador, as escadas são espaçosas. O quarto era extremamente confortável e espaçoso, com todas as comodidades, existia inclusivamente um sofá que podia facilmente acomodar uma 3ª pessoa existia igualmente um biombo, caso surgisse a necessidade de se querer privacidade. O quarto tinha igualmente uma secretária com cadeira. Na receção existe também uma máquina de água filtrada e uma garrafa que podemos encher e levar para o quarto. Toda a propriedade é renovada e muito bem cuidada. No check-out falamos também com o dono que foi de uma simpatia extrema. Das minhas últimas experiências em viagem tenho sido melhor recebida e tido maior conformo em alojamentos deste género (B&B) do que em hotéis. De referir que o alojamento tem vista para o canal e tem uma ponte mesmo em frente que permite ir para a parte mais central de Brugge. Adoramos a experiência. O facto de a casa de banho não tem uma porta. O conceito "open space" na nossa perspectiva, não se adequa às casas de banho, mas é somente uma opinião pessoal. A casa de banho fica na entrada do quarto, seguindo-se um pequeno corredor, e logo depois existia uma pequena área social (com secretária, cadeira e sofá), só depois estava a cama. Não sendo "chocante", sentimos falta de uma porta na casa de banho. Ainda assim, a casa de banho era espaçosa, limpa e tudo estava impecável.

- Curt (10/5): - The breakfast was very nice and the set up was great. They worked hard at giving you a great experience. When our taxi didn't arrive, the hostess graciously took us to the train station so we wouldn't miss our connection!!!!
- Rudy (10/5): Charmant - Prachtig gebouw, rustig en centraal gelegen. We werden warm onthaald en hadden een ruime smaakvolle kamer met mooi zicht! Mogelijkheid om garagebox te gebruiken was handig meegenomen.
- Nicki (10/5): Put Bruges on your bucket list and stay at Anna’s B & B. You will not be disappointed - The location was close to everything without being too busy. The apartment was simply stunning, incredibly spacious, modern but with character and had everything you could need and topped off with a lovely canal view. The property had such a lovely ambience and I did not want to leave. Our hostess was simply superb and I would like to thank her and her husband for a delightful stay.

- Cynthia (10/5): Stellar. - The owners were warm and accommodating, adding a sense of security and belonging to our time in Bruges. Their home has been renovated with good taste and attention to detail. End result: we left with the urge to return again, soon.

The hosts are fabulous, couldnt do enough for you, really informative of the local area and helpful. The location was great, about 5 mins walk to one of the main squares. The B & B was gorgeous, beautifully decorated, our room had a beautiful view of the canal. Nothing. Everything was exceptional.
