- Maryam (10/5): - Aida Bed & Breakfast is a charming rural house in the village of Tatev, where part of the home is rented out with several guest rooms. It’s a peaceful, cool, and delightful place, especially for those who enjoy the calm and authentic atmosphere of traditional village homes. The whole family was incredibly warm and welcoming, making our stay feel very special. We were served an excellent homemade breakfast on their beautiful terrace, which we truly enjoyed. If we had more time, we would have definitely stayed longer in this lovely home. Bathroom was shared between rooms and unfortunately not very clean (likely due to other guests’ use)
- Adéla (9/5): Lovely stay! -

- Linda (10/5): Great location, friendly host, clean rooms. Amazing breakfast. - Really friendly host. Warm welcome with fruit and drinks. Clean rooms. Large, freshly made, warm breakfast. Very close to Tat’ev monastery and cable cars.
- Lilia (9/5): -
- inga (10/5): Цена-качество отличное соотношение. - Приятная и доброжелательная хозяйка. Завтрак приемлимый.
- Michael (8/5): Very nice family, but the screeching outside my window was a minus - Beautiful home & surroundings. This is a very nice family. After a warm welcome, I thought I had found a peaceful pretty spot for a few days. But then came the kid or kids shrieking right outside my window. I realize it's a family home and there will be people around, but still, kids screaming at close range isn't really what I want on a holiday...
- Romeo (8/5): Very good - Friendly owner. Nice location, within walking distance of the monastery. The village itself is nothing. Share one bathroom with 4 rooms, gets crowdy.
- Mohsen (10/5): Exceptional -
- Varazdat (8/5): Very good -
- Michael (10/5): Exceptional -
- Sophie (10/5): Exceptional - Clean, balcony with view on the garden, lovely family, very nice breakfast (and as early as we wanted - 6.30am). We would definitively stay there again.
- Gabrielle (9/5): Great moment to relax! - The beds were soooo comfortable!!!
And we loved the breakfast, and the balcony. It was a great moment to relax! The kitchen is not so free, because it is the kitchen of the owners
- Ferenc (10/5): Perfect location and warm welcome - I received a very warm and friendly welcome upon arrival. The accommodation is just a 12-minute walk from the Tatev Monastery. They offer a generous homemade breakfast. The room is clean and well-maintained. The bathroom could use a bit of renovation soon.
- O (9/5): Superb -
- George (10/5): Excellent - Everything was excellent and breakfast was amazing and delicious 😋 I recommend it and big thanks for ms Aida Nothing
- Asatryan (10/5): Genuine Armenian hospitality. - This is our third stay at Aida’s B and B, we have recreived a warm welcome every single time, the beds are comfortable, not too soft and not too hard. the breakfast is a treat, we love having Aida’s home made jam, cheese, and especially the rejane. The bathroom is functional, please be advised that it is a shared facility between the rooms. There has never been an issue.
- Ivan (9/5): Superb - A room on the second floor of a house in the village. The bathroom is outside the room, but there were no guests in the other rooms, so in this case it was entirely at our disposal. The furnishing is simple but practical. Perfect cleanliness and the hostess is extremely kind and hospitable. We were welcomed in the late afternoon and she immediately served us tea with homemade jam. The breakfast is also delicious and entirely with homemade products.
- Reza (9/5): Superb -
- Taheriyan (10/5): Exceptional -
- Timon (9/5): Superb - The breakfast was amazing
- Tatiana (10/5): I recommend. - The breakfast was really amazing. I liked, that the place was calm and I slept well. It was also close to the Tatev monastery and a grocery shop.
- Brnelic (9/5): Superb - Really clean, the owners were amazing and the breakfast was so good! The shower wasn't the cleanest and the bed a bit hard
- Ghassabi (10/5): Exceptional - Their behavior was excellent. The room was very clean and tidy. The breakfast was varied and delicious.
- Bkha3753 (9/5): Very peaceful and lovely stay - Very nice family
We were so tired and hungry, so we asked if the family could cook dinner for us. The huge feast was present and very nice good. Super fast and delicious.
Straight from the garden and home made stuffs.
They also help us to arrange a driver to take us to Yerevan and with stops along the road.
Highly recommending the place. The wifi in the room near the guest's toilet had a terrible internet connection.
- Eliza (10/5): Exceptional - Aida’s bed and breakfast is a highly recommended place, it is located in a very good part of the village, near old and beautiful Saint Minas church and small markets, so you will have all you need. It was very clean, cozy and my room was located so I could enjoy the view of mountains from the window, also they had an amazing big balcony. Mrs. Aida and her wonderful family were very hospital, very attentive to all I needed, helped me with taxi to get to Yerevan. I am very thankful to them. We will meet again!))
- Lan (9/5): Superb -
- Domen (10/5): Exceptional -
- Maxime (6/5): Pleasant - Very friendly staff and nice location. Very generous and good breakfast ! The WiFi didn’t work and neither did the heating, which turned out to be a problem due to the cold weather. The breakfast was also served outside, despite the really cold morning weather.
In addition, it was impossible to use the washing machine because there was “no water”.
- Jan (10/5): Beautiful garden, lovely owners, perfect breakfast - Beautiful place with lovely and helpful owners and rich and very tasty breakfast
- Mirsadegh (7/5): Good -
- Dadbeh (10/5): Exceptional -
- Marco (10/5): Exceptional - We had a very good experience and would recommend to anyone. This family run b&b in a tiny rural village feels very authentic and welcoming. The rooms and shared bathroom are small but comfortable and extremely clean. We could have dinner and breakfast with fresh local food.
- Masood (8/5): Very good -
- Henrik (9/5): Superb - The room and food All good but no english for communication
- Lukas (9/5): Superb -
- Armin (10/5): Exceptional -
- Lindsey (10/5): A great stay! - I loved everything about my stay. The property is well located within the small village of Tatev. It's provably a 15 minute walk from Tatev Monastery.
I was looked after very well during my stay. It was a great treat to be given a nice coffee and sweets on my arrival to the BnB. The included breakfast was so tasty! I also opted to have dinner at the property for a small additional fee and that was amazing too!
I would definitely recommend this lovely place to anyone!
- Robert (10/5): A great place to stay in Tatev. - A wonderful location with a wonderful view from the upper deck. Breakfasts were the best I had in Armenia. A few minutes away from two small shops. An ideal place to stay in Tatev.
- Caro0o (8/5): Very good - Amazing breakfast, you get everything you like! They were very kind people, a typical armenian homestay. The room is very small, the beds not really comfortable. There was no curtain so we could not really sleep longer than 5 a.m. and the walls are extremly thin; even for a armenian homestay...
- Wojciech (6/5): Pleasant -
- Mark (9/5): Superb - I liked the warm hospitality and the fact that it's right bang in the centre of Tatev. Perfect for one or two nights.
- Mehr7400 (10/5): Best Room and Clean and quiet - The Best room and Clean Nothing
- Roussel (10/5): Exceptional - In the overall it was perfect for it's price! Very welcoming family :)
- Abbas (9/5): Superb -
- Nikolay (9/5): Superb -
- Katarina (9/5): Friendly stay in the village of Tatev - Lovely people, amazing breakfast Bed was a bit old and uncomfortable
- Lars (9/5): Superb - An unexpectedly rich and very good breakfast.
I had a pleasant stay and highly recommend Aida B&B. Especially concerning the price tag of about 5000ADM/night.
- Yonka (9/5): An excellent place to stay in Tatev - Aida B&B is excellent! The host is very welcoming, nothing was too much to ask, you feel like at home. The breakfast provided is superb, containing local homegrown products. Next to Aida B&B is the village bakery - you can watch 3 local ladies making lavash bread and then buy it - delicious! Just keep in mind that the road to Tatev is challenging and it would be best if you could arrive before dark. Only lukewarm water in cloudy days, as the water was heated by solar panels only.
- Silke (1/5): Bad - The whole town is just a dump. People are rude and unfriendly to guests.
So are the guesthouse people. It's noisy and they slam doors... Generations of people hang out there. Stare at you every time you walk by.
The breakfast: before 8 am !!! Outside in the freezing cold!!! And it's the leftovers from last night's food.
Wifi don't work.
- David (8/5): Very good - Very friendly family, nice views, tasty breakfast. They can heat the water when the sun is not shinning, because relying on solar water heater only is not nice for the guests..we had 2 days of bad weather and the water in the shower was almost cold.
- Petr (9/5): Superb - We spent 2 nights here - a group of friends on a trek. Everything went fine. Pleasent accommodation in a village house with a garden. Friendly and helpful owner who lives in the property. He arranged to dry our soaked shoes at a local bakery and arranged a taxi for us. Clean, good location for travelers. Excellent value for money.
- Reza (7/5): Good - Weather was too cold and we have not any thing to warm the room also hot water for bathroom
- Hristo (9/5): Superb - The owners are very hospitable people, they offered us coffee upon arrival. On the evening they offered us “stakan” i.e to try their some local brandy. The breakfast was outstanding: home made products like butter and cheese and fresh herbs were only part of the variety of local food we were served. The village doesn’t have street lights or paved roads which makes it challenging especially in the evening.
- Sanaz (8/5): Very good -
- Cedric (10/5): A welcoming home in the beautiful village of Tatev - The room was big and clean. I loved their breakfast in the morning on the terrace with a magnificent view. The WiFi didn’t get through in the room, but another reason to sit on the beautiful terrace
- Juraj (9/5): Superb -
- Kristinad1 (9/5): Superb - We really liked the place, walking distance to the Tatev Monastery. The hostess Aida and her family are very welcoming and friendly people. Very good attitude towards all guests. Rooms were clean and cosy. The breakfast was excellent - homemade dairy products and jams, good choice of food, you feel like you are in the village at your grandma or relatives. I definitely recommend! The village is small and of course it must be taken into account that the infrastructure is not super developed, but there are small shops, several inexpensive cafes where you can eat deliciously. But most importantly, the surrounding nature of the village and the Tatev Monastery itself is so beautiful and breathtaking that it more than outweighs all the shortcomings.
- Christopher (10/5): Exceptional -
- Mariam (10/5): Exceptional - Clean, comfortable and well located.
Nice family
Breakfast is amazing.
- Janina (10/5): Exceptional - The staff was very friendly!! And the homemade breakfast, amazing! 100% recommend Only one toilet for everyone (we were six)
- Ekaterina (6/5): Pleasant -
- Isadora (9/5): Really cozy place in the village - Super nice Homestay, the family running it were amazing and the breakfast was lovely as well. Beds not so comfy as well as the toilet, but it’s understandable as it’s a homestay (you can’t expect luxury)
- Aram (10/5): Exceptional -
- Sviatoslav (10/5): Awesome breakfasts - People here are jusrt amazing! THey are warmhearted anbd attentive and the woman was like a grandmother to me. I washed my clothes and hanged to dry but there was rain in the night so the lady jsut took the clothes and put it under the roof and it was really sweet Everything was great
- Zornitsa (10/5): Perfect stay, family feel - Very kind family and very clean and warm house in Tatev. They met us late in the evening with a cup of tea and warm smiles :) The rooms were clean and comfortable, the breakfast was just fantastic - with fresh farm products and very tasty.
We were happy to stay in that home and meet the owners. Take care and all the best!
- Michał (7/5): Good - Pleasant stay in price reasonable rooms.
Rooms were clean. Beds quite comfortable.
Breakfast was tasty. Maybe this is question of language barrier but I had a feeling that I shouldn't ask about anything.
- Erika (9/5): Superb -
- Alžbeta (10/5): Exceptional - I recently had the pleasure of staying at this beautiful apartment for one night, and I must say that the experience exceeded all my expectations. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with warmth and kindness by the lovely hostess, who made us feel right at home. Her friendliness and care for her guests set the tone for our entire stay.
The apartment itself was immaculate - spotlessly clean and well-maintained. It was evident that great attention had been given to ensuring a comfortable and inviting atmosphere for guests. The location was perfect, providing easy access to local attractions and making it a convenient base for exploring the area.
One of the highlights of our stay was the delicious breakfast provided by our hostess. Everything was beautifully presented and tasted amazing. The variety of options catered to all tastes and preferences, ensuring everyone could start their day on a high note.
In conclusion, our one-night stay at this apartment was a delightful experience, and I cannot recommend it highly enough. If you are in the area and looking for a comfortable, clean, conveniently located accommodation with a warm and welcoming host, look no further. This apartment is the perfect choice for a memorable and enjoyable stay.
- Artashes (10/5): Exceptional - Very friendly housekeepers.
Breakfast was fresh and homemade, very tasty.
Everything was very good.
- Mathias (10/5): Authentic experience and amazing breakfast - What a great and authentic family run Armenian B&B experience.
That breakfast was incredible. Everything was home-made and absolutely delicious! We would come again, just to have it again. Everything we needed, complete with the great hospitality you find here in the southern Caucasus. Thanks, Aida! Classic Armenian mattresses and pillows are not ideal if you sleep on the side like me. That is a complaint on a very high level, especially given the price for the night.
- Karol (9/5): Superb - location dirty sheets :(
- Kristína (10/5): Precious Armenian experience - the hosts were very helpful, kind, friendly and generous! We asked where we could eat the dinner and everything was set up for us. breakfast was ready the time we needed, very punctual! We felt very welcomed, even as foreigners. Rooms are nicely decorated. By all means, would come back here again. During the winter the rooms are cold.
- Gwilym (8/5): Positive and very memorable stay - Aida is a very hospitable host. Very much a local experience, staying right in the heart of Tatev village. Good for lovers of the outdoors, especially in summer because the large balcony and breakfast table gets the morning sunshine. Beds were very comfortable and warm. The main communal space (for breakfast etc) is the large balcony outside, fine for summer I imagine, but in winter is a bit cold. Hot water is heated by solar, so morning hot water is not guaranteed (our experience in winter).
- Agaian (10/5): Exceptional -
- Antony (7/5): Good -
- Anna (9/5): nice place, splendid breakfast - our room was super cute :D the breakfast was plentiful, local and delicious pillows were filled with feathers- not for allergic people like me. maybe the object has too few bathrooms- it was very difficult to find the bathroom unoccupied. it felt like hunting ;)
- Home-sick-steve (10/5): Exceptional -
- Travel_addiction (10/5): Hardly recommend - Close to the monastery. Natural homemade breakfast. Awesome hosts. Everything was perfect
- Ara (10/5): Exceptional -
- Kamil (9/5): Nice, cheap, beatiful surroundings, close to the center of the village. - Very helpful and hospitable owners, close to the Tatev monastery and less touristic places in the village (but still worthy of seeing).
