• Elisaveta (9/5): - We are very satisfied with the accommodation. Near to Garibaldi station and Centro storico. There is a market near the apartment and shops for souvenirs as wel Aldo was great hostess. We fully recommend this place and for sure we will use it again when we come next time.

• Jamaul (10/5): La ciorta - The host Aldo was great, checking in with us before we got to Naples. He let us check in late and we weren't made to cause a fuss. Any queries about the room/policies and local recommendations were handled within minutes of us contacting him. Super friendly especially his mum, who tried her best to communicate with us given the language barrier. The room was the best we had stayed in during our travels around Italy. Clean, well maintained and plenty of space. We were made to feel safe which is a priority when travelling to new places that you're not so familiar with. Would recommend to anyone Nothing

• Callie (6/5): - The location is convenient and the owner is easy to reach. The toilet was not clean and the hair dryer didn’t function properly. The lift felt unstable when carrying heavier loads, which was a bit concerning.

La habitación muy bonita y cómoda, tiene un mini balcón , es bastante espaciosa y limpia , la cama súper cómoda , tenía una nevera pequeña que nos sirvió muchisimo las tres noches que estuvimos hospedados. Lo único que no nos gusto fue que el aire no enfriaba .
• Cem (10/5): 👌 - Aldo çok ilgili ve sevecen bir Napolitan’dı. İlgisinden dolayı teşekkür ederiz. Daire ile ilgili her şey güzeldi. Temizdi. İhtiyaç olan her şey mevcuttu. Tren istasyonunun hemen dibindeydi. Metro çok yakındı. Şehre yürüyerek 15 dakika mesafedeydi. Yatak çok rahattı. Daireye yürürkenki son 50-100 m civarında çok fazla yabancı uyruklu insan vardı. (hiçbir sorun yaşamadık) Ama bu durum Napoli için normal bir durum.
• Girish Shanmugam (9/5): Good Location, value for money - The stay was in a very accessible location, 4 minute walk from the Garibaldi station along the main road. The area was busy with supermarkets close by within 2 minute walk from the stay. Despite the busy area, there was no noise in the room since the balcony was facing an interior street and the room was in the 4th floor. There was also a small mini fridge which was useful. The host was very approachable and responsive before and during our stay. We were a bit hesitant since we heard that the Garibaldi area can be unsafe. But our experience was quite the opposite. We felt safe during our stay here. Although we were never on the street after 10PM. The only issue was that the bidet and shower would clog a bit and take time to drain completely.

• Angie (9/5): Great location, seamless stay - Convenient to the main train station (and bus to/from the airport), close to the supermarket and dining out options, and walkable to tourist attractions (if you're up for a walk!). Air con worked, no issues with wifi and the host was responsive to messages. Room was a good size, plenty of hooks and space for your belongings, and bed was comfortable. We enjoyed our stay and would stay again. Super minor things not worth mentioning, beats other similar places we've stayed in Italy.

• Valeria (7/5): Accoglienza colori e cibo in una cornice chiassosa - Se qualcuno vuole vivere l’atmosfera di un napoletano in un caseggiato antico la scelta della Ciorta è quella giusta. Palazzo inponente del 1929 costruito per alloggiare i dipendenti delle vicine ferrovie su una via che ospita ogni giorno un mercatino. L’ingresso è un grande portone di legno che si apre ogni giorno fino alle 18 e governato da un portiere. A sera l’ingresso si riduce a un portoncino tipico di Napoli largo quanto basta per fare entrare una persona di profilo. Il cortile è ampio con 7 scale che ospitano ciascuna 4 piani originariamente alti 6 metri ciascuno e oggi serviti da ascensori esterni. La Ciorta è al 4° piano, l’ultimo. Due gli elementi che riempono il grande spazio orizzontale e verticale del cortile: 3 grandi ficus e decine di fili con biancheria colorata stesa ad altezze vertiginose. L’ingresso della camera ha una illuminazione azionata al passaggio e la camera un impianto di condizionamento moderno. Semplice nella disposizione e nell’arredo, ma sufficiente per dei turisti. Un consiglio ad Aldo: curare i particolari, le guarnizioni e la pulizia della doccia e le prese non funzionanti a lato del letto.

In più vicino a tanti parcheggi a pagamento, come quello di piazza Nazionale. In più giù c’è un bel mercatino dove puoi comprare di tutto a poco prezzo (dall’abbigliamento alla frutta e verdura) 👌 Pulizia della camera che era già sporca quando siamo arrivati (polvere, calcare in doccia e miscelatore bidet ecc.), inoltre (cosa non scritta nella descrizione dei servizi) per il cambio asciugamani e pulizia camera bisogna contattarli per mettersi d’accordo ed è anche a pagamento quando nelle altre strutture (B&B eh) è sempre stato compreso nel prezzo. Sono informazioni importanti da scrivere nel sito o comunque informare le persone quando arrivano alla struttura.

• Gergana (9/5): Overall, everything was okay. We didn’t feel unsafe during our stay, except for one evening when a homeless man was walk - The price was very good and one of the cheapest we found – we stayed there for 5 days. The apartment had towels, bed sheets, toilet paper, and hand soap, which was really convenient. The owners also provided useful appliances like a fridge and a hairdryer. There was a comfortable elevator, and the room was located in a secure, locked building. The air conditioning worked well, and the temperature inside was always pleasant. We were welcomed by Ivana, the owner's mother – a kind and friendly Italian lady who explained everything clearly (in italian), including how to use the keys and the AC. At the end of our stay, we could just leave the keys inside and close the door – there was no need to wait around for check-out, which was super convenient. Overall, everything was more or less fine. The place was decently clean, except for the shower cabin and the curtain, which were a bit worn out. After 5 days, of course, a bit of dust may appear – but for a short stay, it's acceptable even without cleaning. The only thing that needs proper cleaning or mold treatment is the shower cabin. Personally, I would also replace the curtain, because ot haд a stains. As for the area – it didn’t feel very pleasant in the evening or at night, but that depends on personal preference and expectations. (the area it's little sketchy) The location is close to trains from Garibaldi station and also near the metro. The city center is about a 20-minute walk, and there’s a supermarket just 2 minutes away from the building.

Price is good Well maintained tidy room and bathroom Bidet Excellent customer service! The floor needed a vacuum really as we don’t wear shoes inside houses and felt grit on our feet. Pillows were higher than we are used to but we still slept ok.

• Viola (10/5): Perfect location for trips from Naples, still quite for having a rest during the night. - Although the location was very close to Garibaldi and a busy road, the appartment was very quite due to a huge closed area the window was faced to. We got all we needed (towels, hair dryer, fridge), there was an elevator as well and an AC (it was not needed in May). Our luggages was safely placed after check-out in the box of the portiere. Aldo, the host was very nice and available, Alessio as well was super reliable who was looking after our luggages during the day.

• Minh (10/5): A quiet and relaxed stay at a convenient location. - Convenient location as it's 5 min walk from Napoli Central station/Garibaldi. There is a street market right in front of the door, and a supermarket close by to buy all necessities. Very quiet despite the location! Ideal for light and budget travellers and those who want to use Naples as a base to explore Campania. Provided towels are clean, host can be contacted via WhatsApp when you have questions. Needs a coat rack at the door and a few hangers in the bathroom for towels to dry, but you can make do with the coat hangers from the closet.

Our baggage was lost by the airlines which is why we were late in checking in but he came at 10.30 pm for that. Whenever we needed any help regarding how to visit any place, he replied within minutes. We needed a universal adaptor to charge our devices and he lent us his personal one. We can never thank him enough. Secondly, very Close to the train and metro station. Just 5 mins walking. Small place but clean. Liked everything

Elevator access was nice to have as well as there are a lot of stairs without it. It felt secure and was quite modern inside despite the outward appearance. There were very few amenities, it would have been nice to have at the very least a small bar fridge and a kettle to make a coffee or tea.

Very well located, close to Centrale Train station, so easy to get to Pompeii and Herculaneum. Also easy to walk to Archaeological Museum and historical area to west. A central access area for things like extra towels, toilet paper, etc. would have been nice.

The position of the hotel is very close to the Napoli Centrale train station, which is convenient for planing trips around Naples. The accomodation is not in the nicest neighbourhood. This has nothing to do with to accomodation itself, it is just the tradeoff for being close to the centre and the train station.

The staff was really nice and always willing to help with anything ( which I really appreciated as I was traveling alone). Also, it is close to the metro and train station which is perfect to go anywhere. The neighborhood is not nice. I was a girl traveling alone so I always came back at the hotel before the evening as I did not feel safe on the street.

Only 2 mins walking distance from the main train station and less than a minute to the big supermarket. I would definetely stay here again in my next visit. • Ivona (10/5): Great choice to stay in Naples - quiet, clean, comfortable, good connected - Naples is a very challenging city, in lot areas very noisy, dirty and dilapidated. Our apartment in La Ciorta was for one week our refuge in all that hustle and bustle in the crowded town, it was completely other world: clean, quit, with very comfortable beds, good air-condition, quick wi-fi and nice spacious bathroom with toilet and bidet. It is very close to the central railway station, with a stop of the airport bus (Alibus) and the Metropolitana station (underground), so the connection to everywhere was great. There is also a small fridge in the apartment and a grocery shop just behind the corner. I really appreciate how quit the apartment was. Though so close to the main road leading to the central station, no noise was heard inside. The building itself is old, but the apartment is modern and comfortably furnished. Love beds here, better than at home :). Communication with the owner was excellent. He gave us some interesting tips how to "move around" and recommended some vegan restaurants, which was great. We had no bad experience in the locality, we've seen no criminal activities or attempts on tourists. It was a great choice for our stay in Naples! I would appreciate a small drying rack for swimming suits or clothes. One sweats easily in the warm weather and it would be nice to have possibility to wash and dry clothes :)

• Johnny (10/5): Great host, great location, comfy bed and good shower! - Aldo is a very kind host and was very responsive to our requests. We arrived in Napoli at 7:30 am but we were able to leave our luggage with the janitor and  Aldo has let us check-in at 11 am. On our departure date, he has also graciously let us check-out late until 2 pm. We were in La Cocinella and it was a perfect size for our couple. The apartment is bright, very clean, the shower has very good water pressure, the A/C works perfectly, there's also a mini-fridge and the bed was really comfortable. There's a street market just outside the building, supermarket 1 min walk, gran caffè at the corner for an espresso/cappuccino in the morning. It's 5 min to Napoli Central Train station, Piazza Garibaldi and the Alibus stop to airport (5€). I've read prior reviews that it looks like an unsafe area but it's not more than New York, Rome or Paris when you're near the Central Station and we often come back to the apartment around 10 pm without any issues. It's a 15 min walk to Centro Storico (Napoli's street food) and 15 min by metro to Municipio metro station which is 2 min walk to Beverello port for ferries to Capri and the Amalfi Coast. Toledo metro station is 1 stop prior to Municipio and you're right in the Spanish Quarters and the vibrant Toledo street. Overall we really enjoyed our stay and had no issues whatsoever. The host is very friendly and gave us his personal recommendations for restaurants in the city which was absolutely helpful. Also the hotel is close to central station which is also very handy.
