• sonya (10/5): The perfect tropical, tranquil getaway with my dog. - The property was the perfect escape to absolute peace and tranquility. The tropical gardens contained trickling water features, a little trickling waterfall, a pond with fish and a wood fire-pit grill. The sunrises and sunsets from the verandah were just breathtaking. There was everything that you could possibly need, fresh eggs, tomato’s, avocados, a coffee machine a fresh loaf of bread, jams, fresh orange juice and a bottle of milk and all aesthetically presented. My border collie and I loved our three nights away. We didn’t want to leave. There was nothing I could complain about. It was a lovely three days

The location was incredibly peaceful and quiet, making it the perfect place to switch off and relax. It was also pet friendly, which made the experience even better for us as we were able to bring our dog along. The accommodation felt warm, comfortable, and well thought out. The host was very responsive and helpful, making communication easy and stress free throughout our stay. We would happily return and highly recommend it for a relaxing escape. Nothing. • Peter (10/5): I you are looking for short stay to get away from the hustle and bustle to relax and breath in nature and have the quiet - We loved the attention to detail the host provides in this wonderful serene place. We also loved that it is nestled in such rich bird environment with the most incredible bird songs in the morning and during the day.We felt we were in our own private world and it was just what we needed.The host were very friendly and informative and discreet when meeting our needs. On our deck view into the forest we saw a pair of tawny frogmouth birds which we have never seen in the wild a truly magical moment for us.

• Nicole (8/5): - Very nice, quiet location. Lovely chocolates throughout the place. Staff friendly via phone. We assumed that "breakfast included" meant we would be served breakfast, not that we had to cook it ourselves. The kitchen is very tiny and hard to cook in since there is only a tiny portable stove burner to use. This could maybe be better communicated as we had thought the price would include a nice home-cooked breakfast.

• Katrina (10/5): Stop looking and start booking! This is the place. - This place is beyond perfect if you are after an idyllic getaway in nature where it feels like you are a million miles from civilisation whilst only being minutes away from beautiful Mapleton and Maleny. When those big wooden doors open, the entire view transports you to another world. Not a house or structure in sight, just gorgeous native trees, bamboo, hills and tranquillity. It's breathtakingly beautiful. Closing the doors behind you and the entire world just drifts away from existence. It's winter time and there is some usually high winds around at the moment but the fire is burning, candles are lit and relaxing music is gently surrounding us. Everything in the chalet feels curated by someone who genuinely cares. It all seems luxurious, heavy and thoughtfully included. The fridge is stocked with fresh local produce, the cupboards have everything you need and there is literally chocolates everywhere! At first I was like "oh I'll be good" but we essentially ate our body weight in all that good stuff! The bathrooms are stunning, loads of toiletries, thoughtful touches like bath salts, extra towels, a heated towel rack and a hair dryer with a diffuser attachment (curly hair girls everywhere appreciate this) The bedroom gave you another vantage point to that stunning view with a bed that will have you never wanting to leave. Honestly if it weren't for the promise of fresh baked Cobb loaf in the morning, I'd probably would be still in bed. The hosts were exceptional, communicative, professional and most of all they were just comfortable to be around. I even got to meet their French bulldogs which automatically make them my favourite kind of humans. As a fellow frenchie owner I definitely have to pet all of the dogs ... and I mean all of them. Mapleton is gorgeous in itself but we didn't leave our room. We just relaxed in the quiet with the fire crackling, a good book and enjoyed the break from life and responsibility. Honestly, I just wished we had more time. It wasn't long enough and I'm going to have to rebook another longer stay in the future.

• Bree (10/5): Welcoming, comfortable and peaceful. - Hosts Nicole and Michael were extremely welcoming and made our stay very comfortable from the moment we arrived. Beautiful peaceful location. Very clean with everything we needed for our stay, with fresh fire wood and kindling every day. The bed was extremely comfortable with a beautiful view of the forest canopy. This trip was for our 25 year Wedding Anniversary and Nicole was more than happy to find a Massage Therapist for us and even arrange for the booking for the therapist’s visit to the cottage. Amazing balcony view with some savoury or sweet breakfast options. We will definitely be back. Nothing to dislike.

The host Nicole was very welcoming and provided hot bakery items for breakfast each day. From cob loaf or croissants or muffins, this was a lovely addition to our stay. The luxury pavilion met all our expectations, was well equipped and comfortable, and only a couple of kilometres from the township of Mapleton. Would definitely stay again. None to report.

• Lolissia (10/5): Immersed in nature with beauty all around - Fresh baked goods delivered to our door each day were delightful. The Pavilion is well stocked with everything you could need in the cupboards and drawers, including the fridge with fresh eggs, milk, butter, condiments, chocolate, juice .. So thoughtful. You really only need to bring your overnight bag and some wine or pop down to Mapleton and pick up a take away or dine out. The bathroom, which is really a spa room is such a gorgeous space too, and allows for added relaxation with candles and bath salts provided. There was nothing I'd change, what a wonderful place to stay. I'm hoping we can come back again soon. Nicole is also a fantastic host and made us feel completely comfortable and welcomed.

If I HAD to pick one thing, (everything was seriously perfect) it would be to have the beds a little bigger!

We spent one night there and were the highlight was the view - truly spectacular throughout the day! The attention to detail was impeccable, and I must give a huge shoutout to Nicole, our host, for her outstanding hospitality. She went above and beyond to ensure that our experience was unforgettable. Hot croissants for breakfast in the morning, a stocked fridge with everything you need, beautiful candles to burn - the list goes in! What's more, we were thrilled to bring along our dog, Harley, who absolutely adored the place (see pic). The gardens were so well kept and beautiful to walk through. Highly recommend, and we can't wait to go back!

From the moment we got there, life's worries instantly faded away with the beauty of the tropical environment. The owner Nicole takes great pride in her accommodation and the experience that her guests have. Nothing is too much and she is on hand at any time. From the beautiful gardens (which our dog LOVED) through to the relaxing spa bath and how can I forget the spacious balcony. Will definitely be back again.

Nicole was exceptional with everything from booking to departure. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend the experience.

• Kate (10/5): Worth every penny, so luxurious! - The lotus pavilion was immaculate. The view, the serenity, the fire, the spa, the attention to detail... just devine! There is absolutely nothing to not like about this property or the hosts!

The candles, bath salts, and other little things around the place just added to the stay Large blackout curtains on the main windows would have been nice for napping during the day
