- David (8/5): Extremely friendly hosts and super breakfast - We liked being away from a town centre and wanted to stay with a family rather than an impersonal hotel. The breakfast was extremely good, with a great selection of home-made, bread, jams and cakes, plus meat and cheese. Our hosts were very friendly and helpful and went to great lengths to make us feel at home. It was great to have a separate area to sit in the evening. The beds were comfortable and we slept very well. We chose to have a room with two separate beds, but it was a disadvantage (for elderly people like us) to have to go downstairs to a separate toilet. If we had been staying more than one night, a larger room with more storage space would have been welcome.
