- Stuart (8/5): Very pleasant and accommodating - we will return. - Beautiful guesthouse, great location. Room was a little dusty in some spots.
- Mike (8/5): - Exsquisite old building beautifully restored While we had out own bathroom it wasn’t in our room, requiring you to leave your bedroom and go next door. I might have missed something but that wasn’t clear at time of booking.
- Lankatilaka (7/5): Gorgeous property - Location, beautiful property and interior. Simone was lovely. Room and bathroom was lovely. Quite a bit of dust, the kettle was not clean same with coffee maker. Not sound proof.

- Curmi (10/5): Fantastic accomodation and I will return. - The room itself was lovely, with a confortable bed and large private bathroom. The blinds minimised light and the tea and coffee making equipment were welcome. The availability of multiple shared sitting rooms was fantastic, as it gave me options of where to sit to work or to relax, and the ambient music was in keeping with the historic home. The owners are friendly and made sure I had everything I needed. It would be good to have a list of walking-distance cafes or places to get dinner, and also the nearest chemist or grocery store.
- Kajsa (10/5): - Such a beautiful house and very warm welcome from the excellent hostess. We warmly recommend staying here if you get the chance.
- Jacqueline (10/5): - Very welcoming & beautiful facilities. It had everything we needed, had a very nice stay. Extremely quiet.

- Michael (10/5): Great stay, thanks - Nice location not noisy at night and made very welcome by the owner at the start of my stay, thank you. Happy with all aspects of the accommodation.
- Craig (8/5): Overall , was lovely thank you. - Could not work out the coffee pods and how to use the coffee machine
- Oliver (8/5): -
- Gregory (10/5): Excellent. - From a comfortable bed to the old world charm drawing room it far exceeded our expectations. Will definitely look to stay here again when visiting Bendigo. Shower/bath access may be a little awkward for those aged or slightly unsteady but shower itself was luxurious! Access to property via a narrow driveway from busy road so need to be vigilant.
- Carole (10/5): I loved it. I love historic buildings. If you want quiet and elegant, don’t go past this. - The property is beautiful. It was quiet, and very private. I could come and go as I pleased, and I did not see any other guests while I was there! I did not see many staff during my stay but for me that was not an issue. It was quiet at night with no noisy comings and goings which suited me. The only minor issue I would bring up is that the parking is fairly tight to get into and out of. There was enough off-street parking, which was ideal but it was tight.
- Hayden (10/5): An amazing experience living the life of 1900 luxury - We booked the master suite, and boy did we get a gardens experience! The gardens to the property are stunning in the winter and expertly maintained.
The interior decor is like stepping back in time, and we loved pretending to live the life of luxury! This really was a special experience we will not forget! Absolutely nothing
- simon (9/5): - Being greeted by the owner who explained the history.
The building and the furnitiure they used were amazing
- David (10/5): -
- Sylvia (10/5): - Beautiful property and gardens
- Don (9/5): A delightful break from a long car journey - A grand elegant house that has been meticulously restored after a history of the local bishop’s residence, post WW1 trauma rehabilitation for soldiers and temporary home for young infants from families with difficulties coping. There was not anything not to like
- Michael (9/5): - It is a lovely place to stay. Wonderful character and charm.
- Stephen (9/5): -
- Dan Worth (10/5): -
- James (10/5): - Simone has a passion for the mansion and what she and Douglas do there. The whole building was so clean inside and out I couldn't even find a cobweb under the eaves of the verandah. The house is decorated with beautiful and interesting paintings and ornaments. The garden is absolutely superb, and having a suite with a door opening onto the verandah allowed me to enjoy the garden at any time.
I look forward to a return visit next year.
- Simon (9/5): Terrific place to stay in a unique well maintained mansion - Magnificent old homestead well maintaned The check in was poor - no one to let us in until a number of text messages and phone calls
- Leah (10/5): We wanted a stay that was a little bit different, something special. Langley Estate was everything. - The place was stunning. The grandness of the building, the lush green gardens and the rooms were so beautiful.
The complimentary glass of port to sip on sitting out on the second floor veranda, was the icing. Nothing could be faulted
- Craig (9/5): -
- Brett (10/5): - Such a magnificent property and gradens.
- Diane (10/5): Felt very special. Hosts were charming and welcoming - Immaculately presented and preserved historic house. Originally built by the first Anglican Bishop of Bendigo. We had our own suite of rooms. Nothing
- Les (7/5): A lovely property beautifully restored - History and facilities No fire in lounge
- Hoi (3/5): Not a place to rest your head unless you want to wakeup with insect bites. - Great restoration of an old manor and good history. Uncomfortable bed, dirty blankets leading to itchiness all night.
- James (10/5): A very charming experience - Rustic charm, grand old home Nil
- Karen (10/5): Stunning residence - A stunning residence, absolutely spotless with all the comforts provided, beautifully decorated and a privilege to visit and stay. Simone was a fabulous host! Absolutely nothing.
- Christine (10/5): - Everything Nothing
- Angelo Gavin Mahendra (10/5): Amazing relaxing stay where we were transported to the old times - Amazing vibes and not very busy which we liked The vibes and the location
- Colin (9/5): -
- Adam (4/5): Lovely building but not an enjoyable place to rest and relax when others are also staying there too. - It is a charming heritage building. It has the acoustic privacy of a youth hostel which meant we were constantly hearing everything outside our room and the central heating woke us up at 5am as well making a noisey racket.
- Peter (9/5): -
- Brittany (10/5): Like stepping back in time - So super beautiful. Every piece of furniture was so carefully selected from antiques to come from the same period as the house was built. Nice and clean. Very comfortable beds. Free port in the sitting room too was divine!
- Richard (9/5): -
- Sue (9/5): -
- Collyer (10/5): Stunning. Absolutely stunning. - Everything was superb. Phenomenal building with incredible history. Perfect for what we needed.
- Maree (10/5): -
- Michael (10/5): -
- Bruce (8/5): Fun and relatively comfortable. - Nice old style building and room. Simone was very friendly, available and helpful. The lounge room and the port were great, Parking was excellant. Large bathroon and great shower pressure. One of the electric blankets did not work and had exposed electrical wires The toilet was freezing. The main room was cramped which meant positioning the coffee maker was a little difficult. I suggest instant cofffee be made avaiable.
- Tallywhacker (9/5): Superb - Gorgeous, stately place to stay. Spacious and beautifully decorated within. Helpful staff Need a car (or bike) as not close to the centre
- Vanessa (8/5): Very good -
- Shane (9/5): Superb -
- Christine (10/5): A wonderful experience & a credit to the owners & staff. - Cleanliness, charm, comfort & history. N/A

- John (10/5): Exceptional - The location was excellent and the house was lovely. The owners made us feel so welcome. The room was lovely and we look forward to staying again. Bed was comfy but could probably be replaced soon
- Leah (7/5): Lovely room but pricey - Lovely old house with very well kept grounds. Period furnishing. Comfortable communal lounge with port available for a nightcap. Very friendly owners who give you space. This is a bed, no breakfast. You are staying in a lovely room with ensuite, in someone else’s house. Very expensive for what it was. The house is on the main road so you get traffic noise overnight
- Rebecca (10/5): It was quiet, beautiful art deco rooms and I loved that each room had its very were delightful. Unique characteristics i - Staying in a building that has so much history.
- Michele (10/5): A unique, unforgettable stay, including a night cap in the drawing room. Thank you. - Immaculately taking a journey into the past, attention to detail, warm welcome from Simone. Tiny TV.
- Dianne (8/5): Beatifil property! - Beautiful property very comfortable and stylish!
- Robert (9/5): Superb -
- Linda (10/5): Exceptional -
- Keasty (10/5): Exceptional - The only thing to improve was the coffee. There was a shortage of suitable coffee pods. As Melbournian coffee lovers, a few more coffee pods would have been great. Otherwise a fantastic heritage venue, that reminded us of a home we owned in our 30s.
- Gillian (8/5): Very good -

- Russell-bennett (10/5): Exceptional - This is a really stunning place to stay, very olde worlde luxury. The bedrooms are gorgeous and we felt like we had stepped back in time. Very well priced so this is a charming place. There was lead light glass above the bedroom door which let light from the exit sign in at nightt, so the room couldn't be made fully dark..
- Michele (10/5): Very relaxing stay over Easter - Location is easy to find, decor is superb and the host Simone was very knowledgeable and helpful. We will stay again next time we are in Bendigo.
- Paul (9/5): Superb -
