• Marina (6/5): - I like ,what a hostel located in the yards and there is no music ,or a big road.Easy to find from a central cathedral. Clean hostel and things ,what is needed are there.Even simple breakfast is included in a price. The person from reception woked up earlier to provide it to us,when we were went for the hiking. First night,when I came ,I had been moved away to another room,because in my room there was no one exept me.Person from a reception said ,what I couldn't stay alone in room ,even it is not my fault, what not enough people in hostel at the moment. That made my moods go down.But I anyway returned a second time to the same hostel.in general, it is cosy.Another night I stayed myself anyway in the room.So,gestalt get closed;)
• Ana (1/5): Nefasta - Prácticamente nada, la cama no era muy incómoda Desde el primer momento en que llegamos fue todo mal. Llegamos en un vuelo a la 1 de la madrugada, pedí el late check in y me lo confirmó, pero cuando llegamos no sabía la habitación en la que íbamos, probó en 2 (una de ellas se abrió y había gente durmiendo) y finalmente entramos en la tercera. Al día siguiente nos incluía el desayuno, por lo que a las 9h fuimos a desayunar y esperamos 15min viendo como la gente se hacía el desayuno porque el hostal era tipo camping. Pregunté a otro de los huéspedes y me dicen que ellos llevaban más de media hora esperando y nadie había ido, por lo que decidí preparar el desayuno. De repente viene el señor súper enfadado a echarnos la bronca y se marcha sin habernos preparado nada, es más, comienza a decirme gritando y de manera desafiante que ya que me he puesto que se lo preparase a todos los huéspedes. Se marcha, me quedo paralizada por lo que estaba pasando, nos quedamos un tiempo sin hacer nada pero no hay respuesta del dueño ya que se había vuelto a marchar sin ofrecernos el desayuno. A parte de esto, la puerta de la habitación no cerraba bien, baños sucios y sin pestillo, solo en la zona de la ducha. No había gel/champú e incluso papel higiénico. Las fotos que habíamos visto diferían bastante de lo original, un desastre. NO RECOMENDABLE CALIDAD-PRECIO
• Tristan (8/5): Perfect budget-friendly stay in Shkodra - The staff was most friendly and helpful, the room was comfy and had all necessary facilities. Wifi was good, which is important as a content creator. There is no option for private bathroom.

• leo_n1d (3/5): - Lage und Parkmöglichkeit für unser Auto Der Manager war sehr eigen und scheint für diesen Job nicht so gut gemacht. Er ist schnell genervt und hat auch keine Lust auf kleine Gespräche. Wir buchten ein 4-Bett-Zimmer, was preislich auch minimal teurer war. Angeboten wurden uns allerdings nur 8-Bett-Zimmer. Auf unsere Frage, was mit dem 4er Zimmer sei, antwortete er, dass sie gar keins haben (eine Lüge wie wir aus den anderen Rezensionen entnehmen können). Die Toilette im Erdgeschoss ist lediglich durch einen Duschvorhang getrennt. Das Handtuch, was man uns gab, war feucht und stank. Frühstück war zwar inbegriffen, aber bestand lediglich aus Brot,Butter und einem Spiegelei. Für eine einzige Nacht war es okay. Wir waren allerdings froh, als wir morgens direkt wieder gefahren sind.

• Bellitto (2/5): - Grand jardin extérieur, où on peut se poser. Bon emplacement. Grande cuisine et salle commune bien équipée. Propose des excursions. Clim La sécurité était très mauvaise, on a pas de clé, ni de casiers, la porte principale est constamment ouverte et il n’y a pas de clé pour les chambres. La salle de bain ne ferme pas à clé en bas et n’est fermée que par un rideau, de même pour les toilettes. Les lits sont inconfortables et sans barreaux pour les lits supérieurs. Le propriétaire dort sur place dans un des dortoirs avec son chien.
• Mila (2/5): You get what you pay for... - Location is great. Only a short walk to the main town. The private room is spacious and clean and has an aircon. ONLY ONE TOILET FOR EVERYONE. There was no toilet paper (and when we asked, the man was mean about it?). The staff were very rude. The facilities do not look like the pictures. The kitchen is dirty and very poorly equipped (only one working stovetop, no knives, and only two pots/pans). Don't get too excited about the supposed included breakfast. It is not always available/served, and when it is there, it is only one loaf of bread or not enough byreks for everyone. Everything except the room was filthy. Backyard is unmaintained. The shower curtains downstairs are see-through, so technically, there is also only one shower FOR EVERYONE. Not recommended.

• Guest (10/5): I really enjoyed my stay at this hostel, as a solo traveler I felt welcomed and safe. Lots of other solo travelers here - This hostel is a wonderful little hostel. It’s a beautiful big house and really gives big family vibes. Marsit the owner is incredibly lovely and accommodating. He made sure I had everything I needed and was always available if needed. Very good price. Nice little kitchen and outside area. It’s honestly just super cute and casual. Definitely not super fancy but it’s super cute and simple. Aircon in the rooms too which is great. Also has free washing and drying. A little bit of a walk from main city centre but not too far.

• Susan (8/5): Perfect for a cheap stopover - The guy who runs it was very kind and helpful and went above and beyond to advise me with next steps for my trip which is very much appreciated. The location is a 7 minute walk to the strip with cafes and bars It’s amazing value for money in that area but there are small bits of maintenance that could really overall improve the quality of the house, such as the garden with a bit of pruning could be amazing or I also saw maggots in the buns at the side of the house which is easily avoidable

• Veneta (1/5): - Единствено локацията При пристигането си чакахме някой да дойде да ни настани близо час. Бяхме резервирали две стаи за по 6 човека, но на място се оказа че получаваме една четворка стая и 3 легла в обща спалня. Липсваха седалки на тоалетните и бяха ужасно мръсни. От едното легло беше взет чаршафа от друг ползвател на стаята и отказаха да ни дадат чаршафи. Двуетажното легло в четворната стая се клатеше ужасно и за да се качи някой и да не падне трябваше да се държи. Другото легло беше само метална рамка, която отдолу имаше две счупени дъски и няколко малки дъски с цитатчета, които дъски се сриваха при всяко мърдане и матрака пропадаше. И аз паднах вътре. Паркинга беше изключително тесен и сутринта нашата кола беше запушена от друга. Търсихме по стаите на кого е и трябваше ние да събудим човека, за да изкара колата. Имаше и дупка в стената. Не изчакахме закуската, защото просто искахме да си ходим.

• Laetitia (2/5): Les hommes qui s'occupent des lieux étaient très malaisant. - La maison est propre, la cuisine est pratique. Le mec qui manage les clients est odieux. C'est à peine s'il nous a adressé un regard quand nous sommes arrivées avec mon amie. Il nous a dit d'attendre dans un coin puis nous a demandé d'une manière très froide de payer pour les deux nuits. On lui demande si cela est possible en euros et en lek mélangé, il répond que oui. Très bien. On lui donne plus que nous devions payer (~5€), il constate qu'il doit rendre la monnaie, nous dit qu'il n'a pas ce qu'il faut là et qu'il le fera plus tard (très vague). Il nous emmène dans notre chambre et nous laisse là, en nous lâchant juste un "don't forget the key" ou je ne sais quoi. Il n'a pas pris le temps de nous présenter le reste de la maison, ce qu'il avait pourtant fait avec les deux autres voyageurs avant nous. Le lendemain mon amie a été agressée verbalement par ce même homme alors qu'elle lui demandait si nous pouvions étendre notre séjour. De ce fait nous sommes évidemment parties à la fin de notre séjour, le cœur gros et sans notre monnaie.

• Ana Catarina (3/5): - Do preço. Foram acessíveis. Dizia que tinha pequeno almoço incluído, que na verdade não existe. O que estava incluido na verdade era café e leite e se quisesssmos algo tinhamos de fazer, sendo que não havia nada. Fomos comprar para fazer o nosso. Na primeira manhã cozeram-nos dois ovos cozidos, estavam ambos estragados, quando fomos comer apercebemo-nos felizmente. As casas de banho não têm a maior parte das vezes papel higiénico, temos de estar sempre atrás para pedir. Casas de banho inundadas de água. Q primeira vez que fui tomar banho, nem havia água. Os lençóis da cama estão super sujos, as camas dos beliches partidas, sem cacifos disponíveis para caber a mala. A nossa comida do frigorífico desapareceu, depois vimos a nossa água a ser vendida no frigorífico do hostel por 100 LK. A internet está sempre a falhar, são poucos os sitios que têm internet. Igualemte quase não há fichas no quarto para carregar o telemóvel ou outros aparelhos electrónicos. A luz falta de vez em quando também. Há animais dentro da casa e do quarto, para quem tiver alguma alérgia pode ser importante.
• Alberto (6/5): Hostel de paso en Shkoder - El alojamiento es extremadamente barato y muy bien ubicado en la ciudad. La habitación privada tiene bacón, AC y es muy amplia. No hay pestillos en algunos de los baños, el mobiliario común está súper desgastado y sucio, huele a tabaco todo el edificio, la primera noche no me dieron toallas, dicen incluir un desayuno que no existe. La realidad es que es un 6 como alojamiento; como opción práctica es un 10, y nadie discute que por el precio que pagas te vayan a dar una suite, pero un mínimo de cuidado en lo que ya tienes creo que no es mucho pedir.

• srishti (6/5): If you want to just spend a night at budgeted place then it is okay. In case if you are the tyoe use to of staying at ho - Pocket friendly for budgeted traveler. There are no public transport in the city and hence reaching to the hostel seemed a hassle from bus however, we could only make it to the hostel coz the owner came to receive us at bus stop. Grocery stores were at 8 min walk. City centre was 22 min walk. There were frequent power cuts during our stay and suddenly it was all black out in washrooms. At night these blackouts were bit scary. Lack of towels and they could give none to me. Lack of toilet roll in washroom and noone paid attention for refill. One common washroom between 4 rooms on one floor and each room had 4 beds. Kitchen was untidy and old.

Breakfast it's says it's served from 8 to 9 we went at 8:30 and there was ham and cheese sandwiches on the table, and some grapes. No coffee. No one from the staff around at Breakfast time. Also they put on display our own bred so I don't know if the grapes were also from other guest. lol

• Pablo Alberto (4/5): Poco recomendable - Es barato. Como es barato, no esperábamos mucho, pero seguramente convenga buscar algo mejor por un euro más. No hay recepción casi en ningún momento. El trato es casi inexistente: solo había una mujer limpiando que solo habla albano, y tuvimos que esforzarnos hasta para pagar. Habíamos reservado una habitación con aire acondicionado y tuvimos que reclamar para que nos den una, que por suerte conseguimos, porque sin aire en verano es imposible... El desayuno tiene un horario imposible de saber y es posible que otra persona se lo termine comiendo. Los baños no tienen cerrojo y puede entrar cualquier persona en cualquier momento. El personal y otros huéspedes se meten (sin siquiera golpear) en las habitaciones, incluso en las privadas, como la nuestra. Poco recomendable.

El parking tenía un vehículo y no se podía aparcar. El desayuno deja mucho que desear. La cocina estaba hecha un desastre. Las persianas de las puertas y ventanas tenían las baldas rotas.

• Sanne (2/5): Flinke tegenvaller - Goede locatie. Onze slaapkamer op de derde verdieping was erg warm. De airco deed het niet goed, waardoor het ook niet afkoelde. Het raam kon niet dicht, en alsof dat niet erg genoeg is was er ook geen gordijn. Er zijn geen nachtkastjes bij de bedden. Beddengoed had een vlek bij aankomst. Bed frame was doorgezakt, wat was opgelost met houten platen. Hierdoor lag het matras scheef. De ladder van het stapelbed zat nog aan één schroef vast. Niet echt veilig om op te klimmen. Hoeken van de kamer waren stoffig en vies. Het sanitair was niet best. De douche op de derde verdieping stinkt en je kan nergens je spullen ophangen. Ook zit de kraan vol met kalk. Er ontbreekt een rooster op het doucheputje. Ook kunnen de wc’s hier niet op slot. Er ligt geen wc-papier en als je het toilet doorspoelt maak je gelijk de vloer nat. De ene bril zit los, het andere toilet heeft geen bril. Van de douches op de begane grond worden twee kokend heet en zijn niet te gebruiken. De derde is goed qua temperatuur, maar het putje is verstopt dus overal komt water. De stroom valt zo’n 4 keer per nacht kort uit. Wifi is slecht op de slaapkamer. De parkeergelegenheid die wordt beloofd is heel krap. Je kan hier maximaal één auto kwijt als je veel geduld hebt en veel wil steken. De tuin is slecht onderhouden, maar dat geldt eigenlijk voor het hele hostel. Voor iets meer geld kan je wat veel beters vinden denken wij.

The bedrooms lock form the outside which poses as a problem when you’re in a dorm with others as you can never lock the door unless you all leave together. Wifi doesn’t work in bedrooms. No toilet paper. People smoking weed in rooms.

• Ody (8/5): Goede plek in Shkodër niet ver van het centrum. - Lakens en handdoek gekregen, bed was heel goed. Airco in slaapkamer. Mijn reisgezelle voelde zich niet altijd op haar gemak, gedurende ons verblijf was ze de enige vrouw. Het toilet beneden zou een deur kunnen gebruiken in plaats van douche gordijn.

• Gustav Mossin (10/5): Great host, helpful. Store luggage. Pillows and shower could be a bit better, but we would recommend the hostel again. - Amazing host, big football fan. Helped with questions and recommendations. Also willing to arrange the transport to Theth. We could store our luggage while we were out hiking for a day. The shower was a bit loose and could easily fall down. The pillows were a bit big and weren’t very comfortable. But we would still stay there again in the future.

• Carole (2/5): Revoyez votre personnel - La configuration de l’hostel est très appréciable, une cuisine spacieuse ainsi que bien équipée et un jardin très agréable. Savoir qui travaille vraiment dans cet établissement est compliqué, celui qui nous a accueilli était apparement un simple guest autorisé à gérer l’auberge. Ce même « gérant » est très intrusif et à des propos déplacés, de la drague osée qu’il n’a pas assumé le lendemain quand nous avons pris une deuxième nuit mais en chambre individuelle (nous étions en dortoir seules avec lui). Monsieur l’a très mal pris et ne s’est pas gêné pour être odieux envers nous devant les autres guest.

• Sharon (5/5): - Great garden, nice location, good terraces Sleazy man sat on my bed. Kept asking to give me a foot massage, share my shower and offered me his bed too. Not cool ever for staff to act like this. Power plugs do not work in dorms either. I left to avoid him. Wasn't even an Albanian.
• Aryane (8/5): Good for budget travellers - The staff was very nice and helpful, the owner even offered to drive us to Tirana because he had to go himself!! The place is more run down and less clean than the pictures. The internet wasn’t very fast.
