- Teresa (10/5): Fantastic! - Wonderful accommodation.
Great location.
Fabulous hosts.
Sauna! Such a treat.
Special decoration and cake for birthday treat.
We had a brilliant time!
Thank you!
- Nef (8/5): Cosy and exceptional - The owners have put a lot of passion into creating this place. The room is very cosy and furnished with lovely details. We felt very comfortable. Unfortunately, we didn't have time to try out the sauna – we hopefully do it next time ;) We really enjoyed our stay and would love to come back!

- Linda (10/5): - Die Unterkunft ist absolut außergewöhnlich. Das Flair auf dem Boot ist sehr schön und alles gepflegt. Die Vermieter sind auch total freundlich und hilfsbereit.
- Suim (10/5): This beautiful place all around was a perfect finale for our Netherlands trip! - The view, sounds and the breeze on the deck, spacious wooden interior, kind hosts who helped us above and beyond. Lots of restaurants nearby and also walking to a beach. Nothing!
- Jones (10/5): Exceptional - We loved the location and the unique experience of staying on a boat. The owners were wonderful. A great relaxing way to end our vacation. Thank you!!
- Anna (9/5): Floating comfort, local charm and a sauna bliss - I stayed on this boat during my trip to Amsterdam, and honestly—it was such a vibe. It’s tucked away just outside the tourist chaos, so you get peace and quiet without feeling disconnected. The tram to the center is quick and easy (I got spoiled with the convenience).
The sauna was a dream after long days of exploring, and the projector/sound system setup made for cozy movie nights on the water. I also really appreciated the little touches—great tea selection, a proper coffee machine (life saver), and the daily check-ins from the owners made me feel genuinely cared for, not just another guest.
One thing to note: there’s a narrow staircase from the entrance hatch, so probably not ideal if stairs aren’t your thing. And the bed has two single mattresses side-by-side—cute in theory, but I was solo and kept slowly drifting into the crack like a human bookmark. Not a dealbreaker, just part of the charm!
All in all, a unique and super comfy stay with thoughtful hosts. Would totally come back—next time with a travel buddy to fill the mattress gap ;)
- Maria (10/5): An absolute must! Highly recommended! - Absolutely loved staying on the boat!! You can clearly see the love and care that went into creating this space for visitors. Simply one of a kind.
Great location, easily connected with public transport. Nice and quiet residential area (ideal for families) and with everything you need close by (supermarket, shops, cafe, etc.)
We really enjoyed our stay and can highly recommend.
- Pearson (10/5): Lovely memorable experience, staying in a uniquely beautiful boathouse, perfect base for exploring Amsterdam - Beautiful, unique, distinctive, comfortable, luxurious Nothing
- Matthew (10/5): Exceptional -
- Denise (7/5): Amazing, Amazing, so different. - we absolutely loved this place, apart from the tricky stairs when you are a bit older and with heavy luggage, but Lianne our host was just wonderful, looked after us with everything, where to go, to eat, how to work everything in the amazing accomodation. The food she gave us was great, and she went above and beyond to make us comfortable, and our stay memorable. maybe a railing up to the loft bedroom.
- Jitrawee (9/5): Love it! - The room is fully equipped. Clean, located in the beautiful and quiet environment. In a walking distance, you can find supermarket, cafe, nice restaurant.
Not difficult to get into the city.
Nice and friendly owner.
I enjoyed everything and really relaxed when i stayed there. Everything
- François (9/5): Nice and original place to stay in Amsterdam! -
- Ana (10/5): Exceptional - 5 stars it's not enought, everything was perfect ! Special thanks for our sweet hosts <3
- Jennifer (9/5): Superb - Very cute boat, lots of space. We loved the area, it quiet but had plenty of restaurants, a grocery and park right there. The train stop was close and it was a short train ride into the city. The windows above the loft bed didn't have any curtains or covers.
- Sriram (10/5): Excellent stay in Amsterdam - Best accommodation in Amsterdam - So different yet comfortable. Highly recommend for anyone staying in Amsterdam to check this out. Houseboat gave a different feel and also the owners are super friendly and very accomodating.
- Sille (8/5): Very good - Excellent location in a quiet neighborhood with a nice view on water and nature, easy transport by tram to city of Amsterdam, cheap parking lot close by, supermarket nearby.
Sauna was great! Also eating in the sun on the deck.
Neighbour Mark was also warm and welcoming.
- Rebecca (9/5): Charming and comfortable. Very pleasant hosts. Very unique and memorable. - The hosts were charming. They live on the other side of the boat. They were responsive and brought us a lovely breakfast. Part of the package if we preferred was to get breakfast at a local cafe with espresso, fresh natural juices and a delicious spread of cheese, fruit, and bagels. The boat was delightful. Clean and spacious area. Bathroom is small but has a really great shower and sauna. The boat is docked at a jetty that requires a passcode to enter so it is very safe. Everyone is very friendly. Some great restaurants about a mile and a half away by walking along the water. Recommend the Kitchen of Happiness (had great mix of really fresh Asian food). The boat is on the water and you can gently feel some of the sways of the water but steady and doesn't cause any sea-sickness. Beautiful sound of water and birds outside of the windows. Be sure to be prepared to walk up and down winding stairs to get to the room. It's not walking distance from the center of the city but easily accessible by taking the tram which costs just about 7-8 dollars per day. Mo temperature controls but it was mild while we there so pleasant.
- Helmut (10/5): Exceptional - Very friendly, great Breakfast, top location, 100% recommendation!
- Rosalind (10/5): Luxurious, spacious, quiet and deliciously light floating studio apartment - The location is very quiet and it is beautiful being on the water. The accommodation inside is really light and spacious (the sky lights are terrific), and it feels so luxurious to have a private sauna just off the bathroom. The breakfast provided in the room was very generous and lovely, and our hosts did everything they could to ensure we were happy there. Even providing eye masks to make sure we could sleep when the light floods in! I wish we had read the provided accommodation information in the printed up book (not just the information in the folder) as soon as we arrived rather than the morning we were leaving .... but that is on us. I just wish we could have stayed here longer but the price makes that difficult! It is further out than I'd realised; again, on us. The tram journey is very quick and easy, though.
- Anonymous (9/5): Superb - lovely experience in the houseboat, very spacious, super nice host and very clean! the boat is on a very calm area and super quiet at night it’s a bit out of the way from the center of Amsterdam but trams are right there and there are good restaurants walking distance.
- Allisia (10/5): Exceptional - Everything.
Wow, I honestly can not tell you how impressive this boat is.
100% recommend to everyone. Absolutely stunning accommodation and our hosts were wonderful. We didn't see them, they didn't come into our private space at all, but they were in regular contact to make sure we were enjoying our stay 😊
Everything from start to finish was just, SUPERB! Couldn't charge my phone to reply to the host and couldn't locate a pen to write in the guest book, but I should have thought of that before we arrived so we left a European plug on the shelf for the next guests.
Thank you very much for a wonderful first trip to Amsterdam 😊
- Biscayne (10/5): Exceptional -
