• Yvette (9/5): Una magnífica estada - La ubicació prou a prop de la majoria de llocs d’interès com per anar-hi a peu. El llit molt còmode i bona temperatura. La dutxa funcionava molt bé. L’hoste molt amable, fins i tot ens va permetre fer el check-in abans i deixar les maletes l’últim dia després del check-out, perquè el nostre avió sortia per la tarda. No hi havia microones.

• Jade (10/5): A great apartment in a great location. - The apartment was cosy and clean. The bed was super comfy. The location was excellent, in a lovely neighbourhood and not far to walk into the centre. We found the local restaurants to be excellent, too. Frits the host was very welcoming and gave us some good tips for our stay. There was nothing that we didn’t like.

Was fairly quite and great being on street level with no stairs Could hear people upstairs a bit, but otherwise pretty quite considering being so centrally situated
• Ana Paula (8/5): Lugar confortável e espaçoso. - O apartamento é muito espaçoso e confortável. O edredom é excelente para o frio de Amsterdam, possui cafeteira e chaleira elétrica. O local está perto de boas cafeterias, lanchonetes, mercado, farmácia e casa de Anne Frank. Mas está afastado do centro onde estão a maior parte das atividades de Amsterdam. O quarto possui uma porta com acesso a casa do anfitrião, e a chave fica com ele. Isso quebrou um pouco o senso de privacidade. Não me senti bem com isso. Também senti falta de ter um microondas para esquentar refeições.

• Valeria (10/5): Appartamento al piano terra, un lusso ad Amsterdam! - Frits è un ottimo padrone di casa. Ci ha fornito indicazioni utili su dove mangiare / fare la spesa, senza spendere troppo. Il quartiere Jordaan è tranquillo e vicino al centro. In generale da qui Amsterdam puo' essere girata a piedi. Nelle immediate vicinanze c'è il mercato (dove, tra le altre cose, è possibile acquistare dell'ottimo Gouda) e a poca distanza la Casa di Anne Frank. Per raggiungere l'appartamento dall'aeroporto di Schipol (e viceversa) Frits ci ha consigliato l'Uber: ed è stato un ottimo suggerimento, con € 25 (fino a 4 persone) sei a destinazione in 20-30 minuti. E' dotato di frigo ma non di microonde. Completo di tutto l'occorrente per thè o caffè nonchè di stoviglie per la consumazione eventuale di un pasto da asporto. A disposizione degli ospiti: asciugamani, lenzuola, piumini, prodotti da bagno e...ombrelli!!!. Ideale per 3 persone. NB. L'appartamento è al piano terra: un PLUS considerando che ogni casa di Amsterdam richiede di salire piu' scalinate per arrivare all'alloggio... Proprio di fianco, c'è un locale che la sera potrebbe fare musica...ma, causa stanchezza, noi non ne abbiamo assolutamente risentito ;-)

• Jacqueline (10/5): Amsterdam met all of our expectations and more. Jordaan was the true heart of Amsterdam. - Franz was incredible, the location was incredible as well. Nothing, everything was perfect!
• Rita (9/5): Loved our stay, loved the area, loved the host. - We liked that the apartment was on the ground floor, Jordaan was a great area to stay in, short walk to bus stop. Very close to eating places and supermarket. The host Frits was very friendly and accommodating. A bit of a strange space where the small fridge was, perhaps a small microwave would have been handy. Lighting was very poor, just some small criticisms, nothing major at all. 2nd bed was only single and in a very small space and you had to go through that space to get to fridge.

• Rebecca (10/5): Perfekter Aufenthalt in Amsterdam - Perfekt gelegen, schön eingerichtet, alles da was man braucht. In sehr schönem und hippen Stadtteil mit vielen süßen Geschäften und guten Restaurants. Von hier aus kommt man gut zu Fuß in die Innenstadt. Frits ist total nett, kümmert sich und antwortet ganz schnell. Werden wieder hierher kommen. Alles super.

The location was really good, with lots of places to eat and drink close by My only suggestion would be to add a curtain between the second bed and main bedroom.

• Creighton (8/5): Wonderful and Cozy - The room was spacious. The bed was comfy and the comforters were warm. There was no bathtub but we knew that prior to reserving so the shower was a bit narrow for me that when the warm water caused an updraft, the shower curtains would be pulled into the updraft and would contact the back of my legs.

• Jenny (7/5): This is small budget friendly apartment, beds are comfortable and bedding was good - Apartment had good bedding and comfortable beds, clean bathroom the place is very outdated, has no kitchen. the shower is modern but very small - the curtain constantly lifted and touches your body while showering - this was annoying and unpleasant. Also there is a bar nearby - and it was loud at night.

I have never slept as well as there , pristine clean and soft as a cloud pillows and beddings . Had i not been in the lively area of Jordaan , full of interesting places it would have been hard to get up from the heavenly bed The owner Fritz was a great person , kind and friendly . Thank you for the wonderful stay , i wish i could come again soon. Ther There was everything i could hope for in clean well equipped apartment .

• Musa (9/5): Comfortable family room in a perfect location in Jordaan. - Perfect location, in the middle of a nice neighbourhood with great amenities at the doorstep.. Fritz (the host) was very helpful and accommodating. Prompt response to my questions, and provided a pram blanket for my 2 year old which was much needed in the cold! Comfortable bed. Clean and spacious family room with cot provided. Fridge and cutlery which allowed us to snack in the room. No big negatives for us as room was a comfort and served it's purpose. However there were no drawers to store our clothes, and the TV was miniscule so just used our tablet for any viewing.

• Amy (9/5): A welcoming apartment in a cool neighborhood! - A wonderful, spacious and comfortable apartment in the absolute BEST neighborhood for exploring authentic Amsterdam. Frits was so kind and welcoming and was available for any questions during my stay. As a solo female traveler I felt extremely comfortable in this area and really enjoyed being in a neighborhood with markets and shops rather than a big hotel in the central area.

• Ewens (6/5): Cute noisy stay - The property was okay but very very noisy, the room is part of a house and the owners are very active from very early so the door slamming from 8am constant in and out and you hear absolutely everything. My only issue. If you are a light sleeper I wouldn’t recommended but other than that it was a good location for exploring and had a supermarket, restaurants and coffeeshops very close by Noise

• Marco (4/5): Not All Good (Unfortunately)... - One of the most comfortable bed I ever experienced. Mainly, 2 things: 1st: the landlord has been very rude. I told him in advance that my flight was on delay, he said there were no problems. When landed, I told him I was about to take the train. He wanted me to take a taxi to be quicker (he said 50 € x 20 min from the airport...not true at all!!). When I finally arrived, 15 min after ETA,, he was so angry that attacked me very rudely. It was very unpleasant, he made me feel guilty, like I was the seller and him the customer. Simply unacceptable. 2nd: the room is at ground floor, with direct access from the street, which is good but way too noisy. Especially when the landlord is parking his Harvey Davidson beside the house, turning it on at 7 a.m. each day. Not only the noise, but the smell was filtrating through the old wooden doors, making the air unbreathable inside and forcing people to leave the apartment early each morning. Again, very rude way to force an early checkout.
• Monica (7/5): Good location - Location. Bed really comfortable. Shower was fine, but small. Good hot water. The apartment was cold. Fritz did bring us an extra heater, but it didn't help. We also had colds, so that may have been a factor. Also heat was from the floor and it never really felt warm.

• Reina (10/5): Amazing spacious studio at a great price in the centre of Amsterdam - Amazing location in Amsterdam at a great price. Host was also very nice and hospitable. The studio itself was quite spacious and the bed was super comfortable (hotel quality bed) - we almost missed our flight cause it was so difficult to get out of bed in the morning, haha!

• Amy (10/5): Stay here - fantastic area, great apartment and hosts! - Location is perfect. Totally away from the crowds and tacky aspects of Amsterdam. The apartment is right in the heart of such a great area. The best restaurants and bars, easy walk to museums etc. the owner is as lovely as was his son who let us in. The room was actually spacious compared to some of the places we had stayed. We stayed here and then went to The Hague and came back for one night before flying out - staying in the central area to be close to the station. Such a different and less pleasant experience. Stay here is my recommendation. You will not regret it! Nil.
• Jeffrey (9/5): Character apartment near High Street Kensington. - Character apartment with good size living room/Kitchen area. Fantastic location to High Street Kensington and the tube. Some interesting small cafes and restaurants in the local area. The bathroom, in particular the shower could use a bit of an upgrade. Overall very clean and tidy.

• Cosmo (6/5): Great location but disappointed by other things - Location, location location. Were provided with a cot, high chair and even a few baby toys which was great. Quite a few food condiments and toiletries provided for free - but the "kitchen" is literally only a fridge, washing up is done in the toilet. Waited for 30 minutes on the pavement for the owner, who did not respond to messages or calls and didn't apologise later. We were allowed to leave the bags for an extra hour after checkout but very disappointed to find most of the (good and fresh) food in the fridge had been thrown out in that time. No microwave despite one being shown in the photo and verbal description. Apt is quite dark and there is no window in the main room, so you have to open the door for fresh air. All in all not a bad place but our least favourite place in The Netherlands and expected more from somewhere with such a high rating.

Super comfortable bed! Loved the books and suggestions about Amsterdam. There was no window to openbin the living room.It was strange.

It was an actual apartment (no kitchen but a full fridge). - Location was right off a busy street and easy to walk to many cafes, darling shops and canals. The Jordaan area is lovely and would stay in this area again for sure. Fritz was so nice and easy to contact.

Very very minor thing, but shower has a curtain so bathmat gets a bit wet. Just don’t put it down until you turn the water off. Other than that, great bathroom with extra wide sink, which is perfect for two.

• Erwin (10/5): A perfect stay in the heart of Amsterdam. - This is a perfect place in the city center. The heart of the Jordaan, but in a very quiet street. Lots of space, clean, comfortable bed. You can get your breakfast at one of the many places in the neighborhood. Frits is very responsive and flexible on check in. Highly recommended! Nothing I noticed. Loved it!

Very good communication with the owner with a view to arrival and meeting at the apartment etc. A little cold on February mornings. But to be fair I was up and out for most of the day so it's likely to be something that could be resolved in conversation with the owner. Very cosy on arrival back at night.

• Greg (8/5): Very good - Fab location in an interesting neighbourhood - few tourists, lots of restaurants etc. Comfy big bed. Host was very accommodating regarding an early check in. A bit cold for me and guests can't adjust the heating.
