• Richard (10/5): Excellent Stay, Great Value. - Hosts Mirka and Dennis were very friendly and helpful, the home and our room and private bathroom were immaculate, the deck was pleasant, and the breakfast Mirka made was exceptional. Cranbrook's street and avenue layout is odd and nonintuitive, but Google maps got us to the End of the Road without difficulty.

• Minh (10/5): I felt really taken care of. - Mirka and Dennis were incredibly friendly and accommodating. I was travelling in Feb and was afraid the room might be too cold. The hosts arranged a heater in my room before my arrival. I was also served breakfast crepes which were delicious! Highly recommend this accommodation if you have a vehicle! Be aware that there were no in-suite bathrooms. You do get your own private bathroom which requires stepping next door. I personally didn't mind this as mine was clean with provided shampoo and towels, and also nicely decorated!

This couple was very friendly and gracious. We enjoyed listening to their story and telling them ours. A very pleasant B&B experience. The washroom was disconnected from the bedroom. Not the nicest for privacy, but only a slight inconvenience.

The hostess was so kind and worked hard to ensure we had a lovely stay, a delicious breakfast, and a spotlessly clean bedroom & bathroom. I loved having fresh eggs every morning from her hens and vegetables from her garden. The host was kind and helped my husband have proper air in our tires for a safer drive to our next location. The beautiful geraniums on the front porch provided a lovely welcome!

No TV, no refrigerator and no means of making our own coffee. The location is very far from the town and we had to ensure we had supper before making our way to the property. This info is often lacking from the advertisements but is vital for the traveler.

• Isabella (9/5): Lovely b&b - Very nice and quit b&b! Myrka and Dennis are both lovely and accommodating people. The room was clean and you have your own bathroom. It is possible to use the kitchen and washing machine upon a minor fee. You can watch deers in the garden and enjoy a silent presence, which is needed when on the road! Only negative thing is that the room was a little hot even though the fan was on the highest speed. But the temperatures in Cranbrook were uncommonly high this day, so I figure this isn’t common.

Breakfast was excellent with fresh eggs from the house chickens and strawberries from the garden. Cranbrook is a 15 minute drive, so you need to consider that when planning.

You can hear the birds sing and watch deer in the back. The rooms are lovely and very clean. Mirka makes an awesome to-order breakfast. Nothing is too much to ask. Both, Mirka and Dennis, are very welcoming and sociable. Always enjoy my conversation with Mirk and discussions with Dennis. Love sitting on the wrap around deck in the evenings to read or chat with fellow guests. Met interesting people from different parts of the world, Germany, and of course Canada. Nothing I can think of.
• Mary (6/5): Pleasant - Very clean. Owner was lovely and made us tea and a very tasty breakfast. Too many stairs ( I didn't research enough) . No quick way out of basement room if a fire. We loved the dogs but no good if you don't like them. Or if a non hunter. Too many dead creatures on the walls to feel comfortable if you don't like that sort of thing.

• Linda (9/5): Deer for neighbors - Dennis and Mirka exude friendliness and hospitality. The entire property is spotlessly clean and lovingly tended. You may be greeted by some friendly chickens when you arrive and in the morning Mirka will stir up a magical concoction from those hens' eggs. I enjoyed a bonus walk in the woods behind the property. The End Of The Road moniker fits. There is no place to buy anything, so come prepared with your own meal fixings for the evening or be prepared to drive back to town to sate your appetite. The location can be either a bonus because it is so quiet and tucked into the woods, or a hassle if you need to go back to town for something. I can't help but point out for travelers who may be coping with health issues, the proprietors are anti-vaxxers. I'm vaxxed and don't have anyone I need to be concerned about at home, so it wasn't an issue for me. Could be a big disappointment for someone else.

The breakfast is delicious and made with local ingredients. The best omelette that I've ever had and made with fresh eggs from their own chickens! The owner was even kind enough to check my tire pressure for me. No complaints.

We arrived late with our dinner and the host provided use with a table setting. The breakfast was excellent. Nice quiet location basically in the woods. Location is about 15 minutes from Cranbrook but we knew that before booking.

• Keith (10/5): Probably the #1 B+B in Cranbrook - Terrific location on the edge of the forest, 8km from town, but worth the short drive from the highway. Mirka and Dennis are excellent hosts, welcoming you to join them in their fabulous home. Breakfast content is to your request, and Mirka is a resourceful cook. Rooms are a good size, clean , well presented, and comfortable. The lounge and kitchen dining area are shared by fellow guests and the family, making it a relaxed and enjoyable stay. You may even spot deer and chipmonks in the garden! There was nothing to dislike
