Guest Reviews
- Linda (10/5): Enjoyable stay! - The cabin and staff were excellent. The beds were very comfortable and the attention to detail was exceptional. It was a make it yourself breakfast of eggs, bagels and fruit cups. The kitchen was fully furnished with small appliances, pots and pans, and dinnerware. The cabin was nicely furnished and decorated. There was even a special spot for any pet, which we did not have with us. But I’m sure if we had brought along a pet, they would have felt welcomed. The shared bathroom was only steps away and was clean. The high mountain location made it difficult to plumb every cabin. There wasn’t anything that could have been done better. We thoroughly enjoyed our visit.
- Liana (10/5): Fantastic family run place. A great place to break up your trip wether you are headed N or S - Loved the breakfast that i was only able to stay one night
- Hans (8/5): Clean, cozy, and quiet facilities in an interesting and beautiful location. - Clean, quiet, and cozy. I stayed in the Jade Fever Cabina and wished it had a bathroom in it, but it was only a short walk to a clean, warm bathroom and shower facility, so it wasn’t a huge inconvenience.
- Adrienne (8/5): - Very comfortable with lots of lovely touches. We appreciated the attention to detail and good communication. There scent was very strong. I’m not sure if it was cleaning products, scented laundry detergent, or some sort of air “freshener,” but it was overpowering. Please use unscented products.
- Pavel (10/5): - Best stop in our vancouver denali vancouver trip!
- Jerome (10/5): A great stop on my travels. - Very roomy and cozy cabin. Super clean shared bathrooms. Not much. It was better than expected
- marguerite (8/5): - Breakfast was hard boiled eggs, fruit cup, bagel and coffee.
The cabin was a charming log cabin that was so comfy and welcoming. Jade City is not a city but a location on Highway 37 where jade is processed and sold to the public. There are a few rooms to rent and very clean toilet/bathroom facilities in a central location steps away. There was no running water in the cabin, but potable water was provided. The kitchen was fully kitted out. There are many trees on the property so there was a real camping type feeling. There were a few beds with the queen one we used very comfortable with lots of linens. A big screen tv was noted in the property description, however, there was no cable. Instead there were a few old CDs. There is no food available for sale, but we were aware of that - the same for gas.

- Tanis Marie (10/5): Amazing place and people!! - I loved it so much on my drive to the Yukon, I had to stay there again on my way back through!
- DeAnna (10/5): I would definitely recommend a stay here and would love to return! - The bed was so comfortable and the cabin was perfect. Very cozy and quaint. The staff here go out of their way to make you feel welcome and at home. It was exceptionally clean and inviting. The breakfast they provided was just what we needed to get our day started! We were well aware of the fact that the bathroom was a shared bath and it was a very clean and well equipped bathroom. It was located just a few steps away. They also have a outhouse. I won't say that I didn't like it but of course a bathroom in the room would be nice! :-)

- Natrisha (10/5): Jade City will give you Jade Fever. Unique spot to stay! - So fun having the Jade Fever DVD’s in the Cajun and the rustic, well placed decor to mags you really feel like you were stepping into how it would feel to like this a Northerner

- John (8/5): Very good -

- Julian (10/5): Exceptional - I really liked the free breakfast biscuit/pastry, it was pretty tasty. Cabin was really comfortable, warm and looked awesome. Be sure to check out the cool jade store next door. No complaints, everything was as explained in the listing
- Omid (8/5): I enjoyed the stay at this property. Thank you! - The cabin was clean and well equipped. Not having running water and indoor bathroom/shower facility was definitely the reason for me not rating this property very high. No running water and no indoor shower/bathroom.
- Grayson (8/5): Very good - Large and comfortable accommodation.
Good breakfast. A bathroom in the room of course would have added comfort but I don’t think it was an option in the vicinity.
- Coelho (10/5): Perfect stop on our 3700 mile journey - Comfy cabin. Clean washroom. Free breakfast. Well stocked kitchen. More light in kitchen dining area
- Garry (10/5): Great people and great staff - Quiet, clean and well laid out
- Jeffords (9/5): Great! - It was just the right place to rest after a long drive. I loved it. The public washroom 😉

- Aaron (9/5): Cool place - The cabin was really cool and comfortable. The beds were comfy. It was super awesome they left the breakfast for the next day in our room when we got there. It's just a really cool place to see. There was only one washroom.
- Kathy (8/5): Very good -
- Brenda (10/5): Great place and huge! - So cute! Na
- Maite (8/5): Nice staff and a clean space, made our quick stop on the cassier very enjoyable. - A sweet little cabin with a full little kitchen and some games and movies to spend a fun evening.
- Charles (10/5): A fantastic relaxation stop traveling the Alcan Highway! - The serene location and preparation of the property was exceptional! The advanced preparation and expectation management was second to none N/A
- Cindy (10/5): Exceptional -
- John (7/5): Fine for a no frills one-night stay. - Nice stay for a night to explore the jade and equipment used during the process of cutting and carving and right off the highway. The beds were comfortable, and the cabin was equipped with a few supplies. They were very pet friendly upon booking and there's a good amount of space to walk the dogs nearby. A fine little spot for a one-night pit stop. I think they traded one of our room's curtains to Scrappy Larry or something because one window had no coverings. This made it difficult to sleep in the middle of the summer when it's still light until late at night. The internet was also pretty useless in the cabin if you need it. If you walk closer to the gift shop, you get a better signal, but it is kind of inconvenient.
- Kathy (10/5): Interesting place, friendly staff, and great room. - Charming and comfortable. Great amenities. Would stay there again! No private bathroom but that was not a problem. Shared bathroom was clean and private.
- Shawna (6/5): Pleasant - Probably bad timing but the washroom was in very bad shape on our arrival & no TP in the outhouse.
No blinds on one window at all & lots of dust/noise in the am out front. This made it difficult to sleep in.
The specific note about there being no food/gas options should be made very clear in the booking.com ad. We didn’t understand this fully until the day before our arrival.
Place was clean & neat though. Owners seem to be inviting.
- Gloria (9/5): Great stay and facilities! - Amazing little place and so well situated ! We had a young dog and it was perfect for all involved. Clean, great facilities and good breakfast! We will be booking again! 👍😉 Minor detail but could use a small mirror in the cabin..😉
- Weston (9/5): This was a unique and fun stay! - The breakfast was simple and satisfying. The cabina was cozy, had a supply of water beside the sink, had the kitchen amenities we needed, had a supply of board games and dvds, and was overall a wonderful place to spend our evening. I honestly can't think of anything else that we needed. The staff was very friendly and helpful. They left a thoughtful note for us on the whiteboard outside the cabin, they were prompt in sending us helpful information through our booking website, and even gave us a 10% discount at the Jade Store.
- Alisha (10/5): Exceptional - The cabin was so cute, and had everything you could need!
- Lambert (8/5): Very good - Lovely comfortable stay in the Cabina. Charming log building with a great kitchen terrace. Set adjacent to the Jade City Store, where they cut, carve and polish jade for many items. Fascinating. Be aware that the Cabina has no washroom. A short walk for that required
- Angela (9/5): Superb -
- Frank (9/5): Superb -
- Cathy (9/5): Great place to stay while traveling on Hwy 37 - We read about this cabin on booking.com and found it was the best place on our way from Stewart to Whitehorse. There was a message sent to us a day before explaining the check in procedure. It was also posted on a message board outside the cabin. We saw no staff but could have if we went to the Jade Store or phoned them with any concerns.
The cabin was quite quaint with two beds and a kitchen with fridge, microwave, two burner electrical plate, toaster, electric kettle and a Keurig coffee maker with all the fixings for coffee and tea.
The breakfast was on the dining table when we arrived. There was bagels, hard boiled eggs, granola bars and fruit cups.
There was jam, butter and Philly cream cheese in the fridge.
There was a sink and a contain with drinkable water to be used for washing and drinking. Another container was in the cupboard. We didn't use up the first contain so there was lots of water - just not out of a tap.
The night was very quiet even though the cabin is right by the road.
Besides the TV, there were DVD's and games provided. There was no indoor washroom or toilet. This was told to us before we booked so we were prepared to use the outhouse which was clean and not too smelly like some can be.
One window did not have curtains. The window was blocked out by mac tac so no one could see in but it didn't stop the light from coming in. We had some small blankets in the car that we hung and they worked perfectly.
- Rochelle (10/5): Worth a stop! Great place to stay. - Breakfast was great. Convenient location right next to highway. Cabin was so cute and comfortable. There was nothing I didn’t like other than the rain.
- Daniel (7/5): Good -
- Tandi (10/5): Exceptional -
- Nathaniel (10/5): Exceptional -
- Mark (1/5): I got turned away. Had to drive another 140 kms to find a crappy place - The room I had booked already had 2 dudes living in it. Got turned away. Booking was 2 weeks old Room was already full of people
- Sebastien (9/5): Superb -
- Bushman (10/5): Best place we stayed at on our trip! - Such a lovely cabin- so clean and homey! Everything we ever needed was provided. Breakfast was thoughtful and delicious! The best part was how friendly the staff were in the morning as we walked into the store- I felt right at home as if I lived there. The showers were far, but there’s not much you can do about that :)
- Gloria (10/5): Excellent - Very clean, comfortable, well equipped and very good value! We’d definitely stay again…👍 None apparent
- Tania (10/5): Jade Fever Cabin is a real "Gem." - The cabin was super cozy and romantic. It was well-stocked with more than we needed. When we arrived, the lights were on, it was warm inside, and there was a message at the door, which was very welcoming. The staff was an absolute delight. Nothing comes to mind.
- Bailey (10/5): Great stay - This was our 3rd stay at the cabin.
Comfortable and clean. Great breakfast.
Perfect place to stop on your way to the Yukon or back south.
- Katherine (10/5): Exceptional -
- Wisehart (9/5): Jade Fever Cabina Review - We loved the cabin, and the amenities that were provided to us. Great kitchen, bed, and lighting. The shared washroom was a little crowded with the other people working there.
- Francoise (9/5): Extremely nice, honest and helpful staff - The cabina was super comfortable and very quiet even if it is by the highway.
My 5 stars go to the staff and how helpful they were when they told me the next day of driving was longer than what Google says. I cannot thank them enough for that and what they did for me!
My other 5 stars go to the gift waiting for the guests. That is so thoughtful!
I also appreciated that they got in touch with me beforehand to tell me that there was no convenience store nearby and to bring my food and snacks.
I have to mention that I stayed there to go to the ghost town of Cassiar and they told me that it was not accessible to the public. So it turned out as an overnight stop on my journey to Vancouver.
Thank you very much for your help and your kindness! The outhouse (but I'm a city girl).
- Stormi (10/5): I was very happy with the cabin we stayed in. They had hard-boiled eggs, bagels, and granola bars, waiting in our room f - Comfortable and clean Wish there was better toilet facilities.
- Steven (10/5): Very cool spot. Use Cassair (spelling?) to find it on the electronic maps? - The uniqueness of location, the amenities and atmosphere was very interesting.
- Chandra (10/5): Charming cabin, nice people - The cabin was absolutely charming, and well appointed. Wish we’d had more time to spend in the area.
- Mary (10/5): Exceptional -
- Kimberly (10/5): If I ever drive through again, I will definitely make this a stop:) - We loved this cabin! It was perfect, didn't know what to expect going, exceeded our expectations. Sat on the porch and brought in the beautiful morning with coffee and breakfast (bagels and hard boiled eggs). The only thing that could be added is a mirror in the cabin for getting ready in the morning.
- Kevin (9/5): Superb -
- David (10/5): Exceptional -
- Tanis (9/5): Superb -
- Smrchief (10/5): Exceptional - The breakfast was meager but I made the most of it. The staff was wonderful! The location was spectacular!
- Hill (5/5): Passable -
- Debra (9/5): Superb - The cabin was extremely comfortable and it was lovely being able to sit outside with a cold drink when we arrived. The staff were great and arrived over with a great breakfast and a lovely gift to remember our visit by. Running water in the kitchen would be great but given the location of the camp it's completely understandable the system they use.
- Dallas (10/5): Awesome stay! - Breakfast was great, accommodations exceeded my expectations. Liked the off road back country experience Weather
- Cerys (9/5): Great stop - Lots of space, comfortable beds. Decent breakfast. Easy to find, located right on the highway but it's very quiet at night. Outhouse isnt too far away. Really friendly staff. Could use some proper curtains - there were fairy lights outside that shine right on the bed.
The coffee machine wasn't working (or I couldn't work it...) but the shop is open at a reasonable time and has free coffee - so really a non-issue.
- Christian (10/5): On the Stewart- Cassiar highway, stay in jade city!! - Perfect stay, in the middle of mountains and nature, confortable and cozy, good wifi and everything you wish, friendly, helpful people...
- Dales (10/5): Exceptional -
- Gavin (10/5): wonderful place to take a break on hwy37 as limited facilities on this road - cozy comfortable cabin with helpful staff & good access to facilities nothing as great for what it is
- Ralph (10/5): Exceptional -
- Iain (10/5): Exceptional -
- Rachelle (10/5): Quaint. Jade all over the forest floor. lovely! - The cabin was so quaint. (Quilts, tins on shelves) bathrooms were separate. no running water
