• Tammi (10/5): Perfect stay in Firenze! - The property is in a great location. Close enough to walk to many areas in Firenze but not located in a noisy/crowded tourist filled area. The room we had was clean and comfortable and quiet. We liked that there is still an atmosphere of locals living here. We also found a delicious Gelateria less than 2 blocks away! Beatrice and Lorenzo were great hosts! Very attentive and they provided helpful advice and information. There was a booklet in the room that had information about the historic building, as well as restaurant recommendation and the like. The breakfasts were plentiful and the breakfast area outside was lovely. Lorenzo made delicious cappuccinos with refills if requested . There is an elevator that can be used, which is helpful if you might have heavier luggage or are tired after walking more than 20,000 steps a day😊. The Wi-Fi didn’t always work, but that wasn’t really the fault of the owners. They tried their best to make it work better.

• Lisa (8/5): Definitely recommend! - Loved the exceptional staff, how we were welcomed, and treated daily. The room was even nicer than the photos as I loved how it was modernized with the shower while authentic with the ceiling. Loved the large windows overlooking the court to see over to the patio where we had breakfast and coffee. Loved the safe quiet street with no traffic while being so central and walking everywhere in the Santa Croce area and close to the river.

The location was perfect, making it easy to get around and explore the area without any hassle. The breakfast offering a great variety of fresh and delicious options to start the day right. What really stood out, though, was the staff. Everyone was incredibly friendly, attentive, and always ready to help with a smile. Le petit déjeuner est fourni, de bonne qualité avec des produits locaux. La chambre est spacieuse, très bien décorée et confortable. Un seul.petit hic l'insonorisation mais tout dépend de la fréquentation : 2 nuits plutôt calmes et 1 nuit avec d'autres hôtes assez bruyants (bruits de la douche et talons sur le parquet à des heures tardives).

• Alexis (10/5): Excellent boutique hotel - Isola d’Arno B&B was excellent all around. It is located close to Uffizi Galleries and Piazza San Croce and the river. Easy walking distance to everything, really. We took a taxi from the train- it was super easy. The staff was excellent- helpful and friendly. The space was comfortable. The AC worked very well and we were there during 95 degree days! The breakfast was delicious. The room was quiet, which is impressive because we arrived during a local festival that had a parade with drums during the day and the fireworks at night. We’d definitely recommend this place and stay there again.

Some good restaurant recommendations. Noise from adjoining rooms (conversations and snoring) and from apartment above (heavy footsteps every morning beginning around 7:30). Overall, these were minor distractions.

It was perfect If only there were screens on the windows (which is not something in Italy apparently). Lots of mosquitos at night if you open the windows. But that is all over Florence. The B&B was perfect otherwise. So happy with it.

The room was well appointed, stylish with comfortable bed and top quality bedding. Breakfast was varied, plentiful and tasty. Croissants, jams, cold cuts, toast, fruit, yoghurt, cereals - something for everyone’s taste. Delicious tarte limione well worth a try! Excellent location down a quiet side street just off Piazza Santa Croce and literally a 5 minute walk to the Uffizi along the River Arno. A great approach to my first view of Ponte Vechhio! And last but not least - the hosts Beatrice and Lorenzo! A lovely, genuine couple who made me feel very welcome in their wonderful b&b. Grazie Mille 😊 Nothing.
• John (10/5): A nice B&B in Florence - The staff at the B&B were extremely helpful with assisting us in getting a bag returned that was accidentally left in a taxi. The room was big and clean, and had a nice outdoor patio and a good breakfast selection. The B&B was in a good location for walking to major attractions and restaurants.

Especially appreciated the support booking the bus ticket and arranging a taxi on departure day. The breakfast was lovely and the patio area was so pretty. The inside area and room were spotless and the bed was comfy. AC worked great. Once we checked in, it was helpful to use the elevator. Locating the entry door on the street was challenging as there was no picture given prior to check in and we arrived later in the day. We had to walk up three sets of stairs to check in and it was difficult to locate, the FIRST time. There was not a lot of signage explaining to go to the third floor to check in. We thought we were booking a hotel so it was confusing at first to enter an apartment building with a common lobby and stairs. Not recommended for elderly or families with a lot of luggage or children to move.

• Pilar (10/5): B&B acogedor y bonito, estancia cómoda y tranquila, anfitriones encantadores - Nos alojamos en este B&B durante 3 noches en nuestro viaje a Florencia a finales de julio, y nos encantó. Los anfitriones Benedetta y Gabriele no pudieron ser más amables y solícitos en todo, desde esperarnos a hacer el check-in más tarde por retrasos en nuestro vuelo, a bajar a la puerta a ayudarnos a subir las maletas hasta el B&B (el ascensor sólo llega a la segunda planta), haber traído especialmente leche desnatada para el desayuno después de pedirla en la reserva (la única vez que nos pasó en todo nuestro viaje a Italia), ayudarnos con los mapas y las atracciones (y nuestro italiano chapurreado mezclado con español xD), llevarnos un día el desayuno a la habitación por sentirnos algo peor, y finalmente guardarnos las maletas durante unas horas después del check-in antes de pedirnos un taxi a la estación de tren. ¡De 10! El B&B se encuentra en un edificio renovado del siglo XVII, y está renovado de forma que mantiene la arquitectura antigua junto con todas las comodidades modernas. Tanto la salita común como las habitaciones están decoradas con mucho gusto y encanto, creando un ambiente muy acogedor y nada deprimente. La salita común tiene varias mesas donde poder desayunar y algunos sillones para sentarse, y contaba con café, té, infusiones y galletas todo el día, además de una fuente de agua depurada muy útil, y varios libros por si querías sentarte a leer. También tienen una terraza donde poder desayunar en el exterior. El desayuno mediterráneo siempre puesto con mucho mimo, con muchas opciones, con cereales, granola, frutos secos, fruta variada, mermeladas, tostadas, pasteles y bizcochos, galletas, jamón y queso, zumos y yogures (además de té, café e infusiones). Como decía otra review, también propondría dejar el frutero disponible todo el día, además de las infusiones y galletas. Como mínimas pegas, añadiría una jabonera para no manchar la encimera del lavabo, y el toallero estaba más alejado del lavabo, con lo que resultaba algo más incómodo (pero había sitio debajo del lavabo para doblar las toallas también). Los suelos de madera de la habitación también crujían bastante en algunas zonas, aunque nunca nos llegaron a molestar ruidos interiores de los vecinos a la hora de dormir. También nos entraron algunos mosquitos por dejar la ventana abierta durante parte del día, a pesar de que la habitación contaba con un repelente de mosquitos. Pero bastó con pedirle al chico que se encargaba de la limpieza que por favor cerrara la ventana tras limpiar la habitación. Por lo demás no tenemos ninguna pega, todo fue muy bien.

La location è in un bellissimo palazzo storico ed situato in una via tranquilla a due passi dalla chiesa di Santa Croce.
