- Kel (10/5): Getaway - The rustic hut bush retreat exceeded my expectations. We stayed in the Mountain view hut and it was just amazing the views from the spa were fantastic. No tv, no phone reception which was just pure bliss, sit back in front of the cosy wood fire with a drink and take in the great atmosphere. The bed and pillows were comfortable.
Annabel was welcoming when we arrived and she had even lit the heater for us so the hut was warm on arrival. Definitely will stay here again, I'll bring my own food to cook next time so I don't have to leave the property. Highly recommend -

It comes equipped with all you need including dry pre chopped fire wood. The views are beautiful, even on the wettest of days. A memorable place to stay and worth checking out when in Tasmania's North Coast

- Jamie (10/5): Quiet and loved the wooden themed cabin very well built and designed - Underrated and excellent location to chill and enjoy the peaceful surrounds Nothing
- Sharyn (10/5): - I liked the environment, atmosphere, the character of the rustic hut.
I loved the spa bath and water feature, it was really a Zen retreat.
- Cheryl (10/5): - So peaceful beautiful surroundings.
- Aimee (10/5): Tranquil bush retreat. We will be back! - The view and surrounding bush was so beautiful. It felt as though you were completely alone, despite 3 other huts around you. Aesthetically it was gorgeous, and all the little details were so comforting and cosy. There is a small area outside for children to play which our 2 year old loved. There was also a generous amount of games and activities inside (colouring in etc)
I loved that there was no tv, wifi, and phone reception was limited. It created the perfect environment for unwinding and spending quality time together. The hut was spotless, and had all the necessities, but like, nice ones! Good coffee and good shower products. The owners/hosts were very friendly and relaxed which is always nice. The only downside was no oven to cook with.
- Jones (10/5): - We LOVED our stay sooo much. How lucky we are to have found you, and in our own little Isle. Do we really have to say how wonderful this little getaway is?? I mean I want this beautiful nook and not have to share 😂
Annabel was amazing getting us in. Our neighbours flit and out throughout the night and woke us bright and early. Thanks nature and those Kookaburras..
Our room was so comfortable, relaxing. While the hubby enjoyed the woodcarvings and cabin and trimmings, the wildlife, I took to the spa and all the added perks.. Not telling the secret in the corner ..
We will be back We have only found you.
We only had 1 stay.
- lucas (10/5): This place is an 11/10. From the greeting at reception to the cabin facility’s. Highly recommend. - The spa bath is incredible. Nothing

- Darren (10/5): fantastic -
- Thomas (10/5): Love it - Peace and quiet Waterfall a but loud, may need a rock for water to land on in stead of straight on the water
- Salter (10/5): -
- Casey (9/5): Beautiful, peaceful getaway with great views and comfortable all round. - The property is in a beautiful and peaceful location, great for people that just want to get away from the hustle and bustle of life.
It was unique and I loved all the timber. The peaceful location and the hut was clean.
We enjoyed the board games provided and just sitting on the balcony admiring the view.
There isn’t any wifi nor is there a tv but I enjoyed that.
- McCormack (8/5): -
- Meg (10/5): Unique, beautiful, quiet! - Everything, the location, the huts, the beautiful fixtures, fittings and finishes, the hand /body wash and lotion, the potbelly fire inside, the back balcony, the kitchen facilities, the quietness and the views, the friendliness of the staff, the bird life surrounding the property. 8 y/o niece loved the outdoor wooden tractor, table and chairs and space to run around in. Nothing!! Only that we didn’t stay long enough.
- Heidi (9/5): Cosy log cabin in a rural place, highly recommend! - Owners were very welcoming and helpful. The log cabin was beautiful and cosy and appropriately kitted out. Woods nearby and wildlife roaming around. Not far from the coast.
- Merise (10/5): Beautiful huts clean and comfortable overall amazing experience - Location serenity charm
Friendly hosts There was nothing not to like
- Yasmin (10/5): Thanks for having us! - Beautiful little location. Amenities were brilliant and the place was spotless! NA
- Cherie (10/5): The ultimate ‘hospital’ breakout, a much needed space of peace and tranquil surroundings that do not reflect the madness - The reception, (tinker the pup) and a lovely host either a warm welcome That we ever had to leave……
- Marsan (10/5): - Calm, comfy, nature
- Xuan Yui (10/5): Perfect! - Everything is perfect!!!! Great location, near to cradle mountain. Great for stargazing and family bonding! Lots of sheep and animas surrounding the house. Lots of facilities, u have everything u need there.
- Melanie (10/5): - It was clean and very comfy.
Loved the light switches and the quirky touches. Nothing, it was just lovely to stay there.
- Georgia (10/5): Perfect location and experience - Absolutely idyllic location and ticked all the boxes for us for a getaway! Cabin with a wood fire, situated on the most picturesque farm stay, and within close proximity to gorgeous rainforest hikes and ocean views. I loved that there was no TV and limited reception, and the entertainment unit was a CD player in the room, so we dug up a long lost CD from the car and had a wonderful offline evening listening to music next to the fire. Our stay was a perfect combination of all the best things! We will definitely be returning 😊 I really can't fault it. We were very happy with our stay.
- Monika (10/5): Memorable and pleasant stay ❤️ - Love this nice and peaceful place There is nothing not to like on this property maybe just …if we only could stay longer
- Saravanan (10/5): -
- Angela (10/5): - lovely well presented huts and lovely quiet location with friendly staff

- Liberty (10/5): -
- Luke (10/5): Both the people and place was a slice of peace whilst traveling with a partner. - Mark was amazing at ensuring we were welcomed and had the peace we both much needed whilst traveling. He showed us both great respect and courtesy and would highly recommend the place. Nothing.
- Dominique (10/5): Perfect ! - The peace and quiet , the beauty of the woodwork inside , the spa bath , the fire place , it was perfect for our romantic stay !! Nothing
- Alex (10/5): Fantastic - Nice location with nice views. Huts are really cute and have a nice feel.
- Tony bilos (10/5): - Nice clean place
- Charlotte (9/5): Wonderful. Absolutely recommend - The location was phenomenal, so beautiful and even though there are 4 huts you feel like you are in the middle of the beautiful wilderness all by yourself. The beds were so comfortable. The kitchen set up was great, microwave, air fryer, utensils, glasses, cups, fridge. The bathroom was very aesthetic. We stayed in the country hut, queen bed and 2 singles. The hut was very clean and tidy. The staff were amazing and very helpful. The whole place was gorgeously rustic as advertised. The bathroom only had one issue, which was not having a shower curtain/door which meant the floor got very wet. The owners did anticipate this with providing many bath mats, which was very kind. The single beds room which was divided from the queen by a timber wall, could definitely use a door or curtain because you can look straight in.
- Rachael (9/5): Really lovely but it was difficult to plan aspect of the trip daily without wifi - The views, the serenity, the cooking facilities There was no wifi or cellular reception at the accommodation.
- Jim (10/5): The best accommodation on the NW. - Everything NA
- Willett (10/5): Just what we needed ✅ - The friendly staff, the cleanliness and such a beautiful location. Highly recommended Everything was perfect
- Hasini (10/5): -
- Alison Mcglone (8/5): - No TV, Quiet
- Trish (9/5): - The view was beautiful
- Jutta (10/5): - We loved the location the craftmanship of the cabin and the friendlines of the owners There was nothing what we did not like
- Scott (9/5): Highly recommend - Peace and quiet, excellent set-out. Very counrty retreat feel, with the convenience it being reasonably close to suburbia. WiFi isn't available but phone data is. All-in-all that is not a great problem.
- Rabil (9/5): -
- Carley (10/5): -
- Mashuka (10/5): Absolutely stunning place for a relaxed reset. - Rustic Hut is one of my most favourite places in Tassie now. This was our 3rd visit to the Hut. The huts are super comfy with million-dollar views. And the whole place is so peaceful. The fact that the internet is non-existent is a plus for us as we can focus our time on quiet, quality time as a family. Cannot recommend the place enough! We will surely be back again. <3 N/A
- Jacqueline (9/5): -
- Jody (10/5): Amazing outlook and property, highly recommended - The hut was amazing, great outlook, no
Tv and wi fi was great, you can just switch off and relax. They have horses and cows around the property as well. Just such a beautiful place. We will be back. There wasn’t anything we didn’t like, the only thing we were missing was an old tuned up guitar to play on the verandah or in the barn.
- Scott (9/5): Highly recommend this retreat. - Highly recommend this property. It felt like a disconnect with the hustle and bustle. For anyone on the road that needs a room for the night or 2, d I yourself a favour and stay ther. The facility, tranquillity and quality of the property was excellent. Bed was comfortable and the shower/kitchen and total ambience was flawless. There may be issues with internet, even though i could connect with data, I didn’t really care whether i could or not.
- Leslie (10/5): -
- Lisa (10/5): Amazing place to stay, easy to find. Highly recommend - Beautiful setting
- kim (10/5): Highly recommend for a relaxing weekend or overnight to recharge and appreciate the serenity. - So peaceful and quiet - wish we could have stayed longer- a little piece of heaven for me. The fire was lit for us, it was cosy and had everything you could need. No TV which was great they supplied games and jigsaws though a book on the couch was all I needed. Nothing - the fact I had to leave
- Braedon (10/5): -
- Shane (8/5): -
- Danny (7/5): -
- Angela (9/5): We absolutely oved it! Highly recommended. We'll come again when we are up that way. - Breakfast - not included.
Location - wonderful. In the 'Country Cabin' we had views of the forest AND the ocean in the distance. It was very quiet with lots of visiting birdlife like fairy wrens.
We also loved the ambience of the 'rustic' fit-out of the cabins. If I were to be a bit VERY pedantic dare I suggest:
- long handled tongs for the fireplace,
- paper as an option/alternative to the kerosene firestarters provided,
- a movement sensitive night-light for moving around the cabin in the middle of the night,
- salt/pepper.
- Catherine (10/5): A big thank you for having us, such a serene and beautiful property. Had all we needed and loved the touch of having boa - Such a serene and beautiful property! N/A
- Mia (6/5): Very pleasant people, would stay again - Loved the wood design of the hut. The shower couldn’t drain and the fees in the book were stupid
- sharyn (10/5): - Hut was cosy & comfortable
- Connor (10/5): -
