- Camilla (6/5): - A good stopover spot, with very friendly and kind staff. Beautiful views. There is no soundproofing/ insulation in the room so it sounded like the the cars, motorbikes, dogs and chickens were in the room with me, and I could hear every step a bird made on the tin roof.
- Farah (10/5): - El desayuno estaba muy completo. Fruta, jugo de naranja y desayuno a elegir.
- Erick (10/5): -

- Paul (9/5): Nice stay in a boutique hotel in a cute neighborhood - Nice safe property in a cute neighborhood. Nice breakfast and good communication. Close to hot springs and national park. Great restaurant a block away. Pretty view of Irazu volcano in the distance. We only stayed two nights but felt like we want to come back. Staff was very helpful and friendly. Large room but minimal furniture. Plenty of space for a dresser or someplace to put luggage/clothes but nothing there.
- James (9/5): Great base to explore the countryside around Orosi - Quite unassuming on arrival, but the more time we spent there the more we enjoyed it. The "bungalows" are small two-storey houses. Ours had a bedroom upstairs and a second bedroom, bathroom and kitchen-living area downstairs.
Located in the centre of Orosi with all town restaurants within walking distance.
Cooked breakfast was offered with different options (tipico, American, vegan) plus a fruit starter and was tasty. Staff were very friendly and we were both surprised and grateful that when asked if they could arrange the washing of our clothes (there is no lavanderia in town), they washed, dried and beautifully folded them all within two hours at a very reasonable cost. Not much. The seating inside the accommodation was limited - a small dining table and two chairs slightly awkwardly set under the stairs and a futon in the second bedroom.
Beds were comfy but pillows were not - they were somewhat lumpy (by design, it seemed).
- Diane (7/5): Good - The breakfast was good and I loved the little outdoor dining area. The inside of the room was very basic and the bed was not comfortable
- Annie (6/5): Pleasant - Clean and well located We expected a kitchen and only had a fridge and microwave. The first night was awesome. The second night other guests are the hotel we VERY noisy until 1:30am.
- Sarah (8/5): It was a great location - Cute little villas one bedroom and one loft. The breakfast was delicious and we tried both the traditional and the American breakfast. Traditional was better. We were walking distance to so many shops and restaurants, which was our favorite part. The steps to the loft are treacherous, especially if your knees are 55+. There was no bedside table for my CPAP to sit. You could sleep 4, but there’s no place to sit together in the villa. The 2 person cafe table is under the stairs, so an adult will bang their head getting up from their chair. Space is limited for hanging up clothes.
- Carlos (10/5): Exceptional -

- Oldcorn (6/5): Good basic accommodation for last night before heading back to airport. - Secure, challets and car park behind locked gate. Breakfast Fine for a night or 2 with 2 teenagers but m8ght get a bit cramped after that.
- Sherri (8/5): Very good - Excellent! Lovely fruit asdortment and juice. Entire meal was delicious.
! Could have had bath towels in bathroom.
- Harold (7/5): Good - Overall good value foe menye great location and comfortable accommodations Proximity of pool to the rooms..
You cannot avoid the noise from people having fun in it! So be prepared
- Natalie (9/5): Great for a couple of nights visiting Orosi town . - Staff were fabulous and so very helpful . The place was very very clean , in a type of a enclosure . Perfect for the wonderful town of Orosi . The staircase was quite scary and I think if you were elderly it would be very difficult . I took it with great care small steps and no backs to them . Only other thing the pool is very clean but also very small . A family of 4 would fill it
- Harold (8/5): Very good -
- Karol (10/5): Exceptional - It is very comfortable, the service is excellent, and being located in the main town of Orosi, you can visit the Tapantí Reserve, as well as other places. We will definitely be back!
- Kevin (10/5): Exceptional - Location and friendly staff Everything was great
- Kevin (10/5): My clients had a nice visit - Friendly staff and delicious breakfast Everything was good
- Juan (8/5): Very good -
- Peter (10/5): Exceptional - Breakfast was excellent and staff were very helpful. I experienced another bout of diarrhea and our host went out of his way to provide me with some lime juice and corn starch to settle my stomach. Thank you so much!
- Trea (10/5): The nicest people run this place. They are so kind and accommodating. The breakfast was great - Super cute Not their fault at all but the neighborhood dogs barking were a bit annoying
- Mark (10/5): Looking forward to our return. - Just right for our group of four.
- Mario (8/5): Very good -
- Karol (10/5): Exceptional - It felt like stay at home! The apartment was so comfortable! The staff is so special, definitely we'll come back!🧡
- Elena (10/5): Comfortable nice - We loved the apartment and the building. I think bathroom is a bite too small.
- Alejandro (9/5): Superb - Delicious breakfast. Clean and spacious room. Excellent location in Orosi town centre. The pool was smaller than we expected. Everything else was great!
- Dal28dal (10/5): Excellent place for a 1 night stay! -
- Gordon (10/5): Very nice place to stay. - Centrally located
- Brenes (10/5): Exceptional -
- Gordon (10/5): Exceptional -
- Bram (7/5): Okay stay for passing to the other coast side! - Good location, big rooms and nice shower! The staff was not that friendly.
The breakfast was quite late (starting at 8am, we asked for 7am and that was fine, but is still late for CR, better starting around 6:00-6:30 for sure).
- Leslie (8/5): Nice overnight. - The location was very secure and close to the hot springs, which were wonderful. We had plenty of room for two couples and a child in our villa. Breakfast was perfectly Typico and made to order. Check-in involved a bit of guesswork and we didn't see much staff while we were there but those we interacted with were very friendly. Stairs in the unit were a bit dodgy. Hot water in the shower was difficult to master but definitely got hot.
- Brenda (10/5): Super great - The location had a safe place for cars and it was an amazing stay, the rooms were pretty comfortable
- Angharad (7/5): Clean simple friendly place to stop over. - Clean and simple room. Staff were friendly and there were nice facilities like a pool and bikes
Walking distances from a couple of nice restaurants. A fan in the downstairs bedroom as well as the upstairs one would have been.
- Margarita (9/5): Nice hotel, I regret we could not stay longer - Super nice hotel. The service & the owners are super friendly. We needed some flexibility which they provided. Reception is not open later in the evening
- Julian (10/5): Exceptional - Perfect location in Orosi valley. Good value for money. They even provide free use of bikes. Room is very clean and spacious. There's a lot of space for parking.
- Andreas (9/5): Superb - Very spacious room. All new equipment. Microwave oven, fridge. Opening windows for air. Good breakfast.
- Léonie (9/5): Superb - Its a nice and central place. The staff was really frendly and they did our loundry for free. -
- Carrega (10/5): Splendid stay! - The staff was excellent!
As an extra bonus you have bicycles for free and a barbecue area....
The place is excellent and you are very near downtown.
Very super enjoyable the Tapaiti National Park
- Shane (10/5): super happy - beautiful little place in orosi , it’s honestly like being in a big dolls house! it’s super new , clean - breakfast is super - staff are also very friendly. also free bikes are available , orosi is a lovely area can’t complain about anything
- Helen (9/5): Perfect base to explore Orosi - This spot is right in the center of Orosi, yet is peaceful and secure. It had ample amounts of parking space. The breakfasts were exceptional, huge portions (great for keeping us going during our hikes around Orosi!). The chalets themselves were clean and comfortable, perfect for a short stay. Very little to change! Perhaps a bell outside to let the reception know that you've arrived for check-in. A filter or two for the coffee machine and would be perfect. We weren't tempted to use the pool but imagine that it is a nice bonus for families with small children.
- Marek (8/5): Very good -
- Aimee (10/5): Relaxing stay in the Orosi Valley - Bungalows are clean and comfortable. Plenty of room for the family to make meals, eat together, and relax. Lots of amenities to enjoy - pool, foosball, bikes. Location was central to walk around town or head out for activities in the area (Irazu volcano, Cachi lake, Ujurras ruins, Monte Sky, etc ). Breakfast was amazing - pancakes, eggs, Canadian bacon, fresh fruits, coffee and orange juice. Customer service was top notch. Everything was great.
- Claudia (8/5): Nice, clean stay. - Rooms are basic but clean. The staff was very friendly. Parking is free. Breakfast is included with your stay. Choice between tipico: eggs, gallo pinto (rice& beans mix), bacon. American: pancakes, eggs, bacon. Both choices come with juice & coffee/ tea. It was delicious. We enjoyed our stay.
- Jim (8/5): Villas Orosi Valley was a perfect the perfect lodging place for my week in Orosi. And More. - The entire staff was as friendly and accommodating as they could be. I got the breakfast I wanted when I wanted it. Most importantly, they made lots of good coffee for me. The villas have been recently renovated. I have a background in construction and appreciated what was done. I took pictures of the shower enclosure to share with builder friends.
I could hear the guy next door snoring. Unfortunately, there was no sound isolation between my room and the adjacent one. I don't know if it's the same between the other suites and rooms. Hopefully, no.
- Kristina (6/5): Pleasant - The place was very nice and breakfast was great. The noise from the people who stayed over the weekend. They sang so loud until past 12:00 am and also dogs are barking non stop all night long.
- Dr (10/5): Liked it a lot and would go back, especially if traveling with my dog. - They were so very friendly and accommodating. Most of them didn’t speak much English and my Spanish is still a work in progress but we managed. They are pet friendly and the entire property is surrounded by a privacy fence so my big dog was able to run loose from time to time. I liked the property so much I stayed a second night. The property was obviously a little old but it had been well-maintained so it really wasn’t a problem.
- Gordon (10/5): Exceptional -
- Omri (6/5): Pleasant - The staff was very nice, the girl in the reception gave us a free bottle of wine for our honeymoon ❤️
You pretty much get what you pay for, this is not a high-end hotel. Wasn't very clean, but we lived with it since this was just a resting stop on our way.
- Neil (8/5): Really nice apartments - Lovely apartments spacious and clean with kitchenette.
Nice breakfast
Friendly staff. The location is in a rather noisy part of town.
Pool is very small.
