• Ann-Laurie (10/5): Accueil chaleureux dans une grande chambre tout confort. Petit dej au top - Super accueil par Lester qui nous a aidé à porter nos bagages et franchement c’est un réel plus. Lester s’est ensuite plié en 4 pour nous permettre de profiter d’un bon petit déjeuner même si nous partions tôt. La chambre Remington où nous avons logé est spacieuse, confortable et bien aménagée. Il y a une belle salle de bains avec une grande douche. Enfin en terme de situation l’emplacement est idéal si vous allez à Flagey.

Loved how the house was presented and how it was filled with interesting objects Probably slightly further from town that I planned but we got clear instructions as to using bus / trams.
• Simon (8/5): A surprising find - An incredibly warm welcome from Lester. A particularly nice touch that he knew it was me, welcomed me by name, and said "Welcome home". The guesthouse was tastefully designed and decorated and the room had everything I needed. The room was good value and in the perfect location for me as I was at Full Circle for a conference the next day. If the conference happens in the same location next year, I'll look to stay here again - indeed, if I'm in Brussels again for any reason I'll consider it. The floorboards in the room were rather creaky, which didn't bother me but I was conscious of it walking around - I didn't want to disturb guests downstairs. It would have been nice to have another coffee pod in the room for the Nespresso machine, as I had only one for my one night stay. One guest - an American, I believe - decided to stand in the stairwell on a conference call from 10pm-10:30pm on the night of my stay, so the whole building could hear her. That isn't Lester's fault, of course! I was getting ready for bed at 10:30pm and was about to ask her to stop when she went into her room, so not a massive issue, but I'm always amazed when people aren't thoughtful of others.

• Marina (10/5): A truly special and beautifully designed place with a warm, welcoming host – one of the most enjoyable stays we’ve had - We had an absolutely wonderful stay at House Ninety – truly a 10/10 experience. From the very first moment, the host made us feel incredibly welcome. We were personally greeted, shown around the house, and everything was explained with such care and warmth. The house itself is simply beautiful. It’s not just stylish, but thoughtfully designed with so much attention to detail. You can really feel that every corner, every piece of furniture, and every picture has been carefully chosen – it feels like the house tells its own story. It has a very unique charm that you don’t find in typical hotels. Everything was spotless and very well maintained, and the entire place had a lovely, pleasant scent which made it even more inviting. The bed was extremely comfortable, and overall the atmosphere was calm, cozy, and elegant at the same time. What also stood out is how peaceful and high-quality everything felt – from the interior design to the comfort and cleanliness. Other guests mentioned similar things, and I can absolutely confirm it: the host is exceptionally friendly and the whole place feels more like a beautifully curated home than a standard accommodation. Honestly, nothing. Everything exceeded our expectations.

Fabulous room full of modern comforts and great decor. Lester was the perfect host. He couldn’t have made our stay any more pleasant and was incredibly helpful and informative ensuring a perfect stay. Wonderful breakfast and conversation too. Location is in the lovely Ixelles district close to many restaurants and bars and an easy bus ride into town. To be recommended! Absolutely nothing!
• Tanja (10/5): Prachtige b&b in bruisende wijk - Prachtig ingerichte, stijlvolle, ruime, schone b&b gelegen in een bruisende (maar niet toeristische) wijk van Brussel. De eigenaar is super vriendelijk, doet er alles aan om je thuis te laten voelen en geeft veel goede tips. Het bed ligt heerlijk en de badkamer is van alle gemakken voorzien. De kamer ligt aan een drukke straat, maar wanneer je de ramen dicht doet, is het heerlijk stil. Er is een super schattig balkon waar je kunt ontbijten of genieten van een kopje koffie. Veel restaurants, koffiebars etc. in de buurt. Ook diverse prachtige parken op loopafstand en mooie art nouveau wijken om door heen te struinen. Kortom; wij komen zeker terug naar deze b&b! Lester, bedankt voor je gastvrijheid.

The location is near city center and there is good connection with public transport. You also get to see a bit more of Brussels.

• G (8/5): Comfortable and spacious stay! - We really liked how spacious the bedroom and bathroom was! It was comfortable, clean and located in a nice and peaceful area. The host was super friendly and was happy to give us directions and make recommendations! It was nice to have the TV in the bedroom and some basic toiletries in the bathroom! We also liked that there were only two bedrooms available so it was never noisy! The water in the room was also a nice touch! The host also kindly let us check-in slightly earlier when we arrived and let us leave our bags for a while to look around before we left. Thank you for that!! :) There were a tiny few marks and hairs on the sheets but I'd put this down to regular wear and tear and everything overall was very clean and we were very happy with it!!

We also got many recommendations for things to do in Brussels in general but also in the immediate area. The location was lively but not too touristy, which we appreciated a lot. There is a food market nearby and a beer pub with around 80 different kinds of beer. Our host did everything to make us feel welcome! The street was noisy at night (but that's due to the lively neighborhood and can't be changed). We personally did not mind the stairs (it's a lovely, renovated 150-year-old building) but if you hate climbing stairs or are unable to do so, this is not the property for you as it has lots of narrow, steep stairs.

• Olga (10/5): Great apartments - Very cute apartment convenietly located in the nice part of Brussels, 20-25 min walking distance either to the centre or EU district, plenty of shops and restarurant around. Clean, comfy, quiet (there are only 2 apartments in the house for guests). Coffee/tea in the room, huge bathroom, nice breakfast if needed, and the last, but not least great host. Be aware of the steps though (for someone with mobility issues might be a challenge) -

• Heledd (10/5): Comfortable and welcoming stay - with a fantastic host! - As other guests have rightly said, House Ninety is more than a B&B, you feel as though you’re staying with good friends in their beautifully renovated townhouse in the cool neighbourhood of Ixelles. Lester is such a welcoming and knowledgeable host - nothing is too much trouble. He is more than happy to recommend sites, bars, restaurants, transport logistics etc! It really helps having the advice of a local. And the room, bathroom, house and breakfast room are all beautifully decorated and comfortable. We hope to return!

• Cyril (10/5): A cosy and friendly place to stay - Spacious and lovely rooms decorated with taste and originality, large comfy bed, good shower, quiet, super welcoming host, delicious breakfast which is exceptional value for money. As in any old house, one might hear creaking steps in the staircase etc. But there are only 2 guest rooms so this is really not an issue.

The location is excellent, the guesthouse itself is exceptionally beautiful and has been restored and decorated to the highest standard. My room was comfortable and the bathroom was incredible! Breakfast was also wonderful and I cannot speak more highly of Lester, the host, who was friendly and informative and made me feel right at home immediately. I only wish I had spent longer than one night here - I would love to come back and stay for a holiday in Brussels!

The coffee had a wonderful, rich taste, there was fresh fruit salad and freshly squeezed orange juice and overnight oats, as well as bread and vegan cheese. The host was really nice and caring and the room was really pleasant as well. Great design and great facilities, including coffee maker and a big bathroom. I was happy with everything here, indeed!

• Eageneve (10/5): A real "home away from home" in the heart of Bruxelles. A rare find. - The House Ninety is a small jewel. It is a true Guesthouse, where the owners live. You are welcomed warmly, and shown your (beautiful) room with grace and good manners. The entire house is tastefully decorated, spacious and absolutely clean. A big difference from your standard impersonal hotel or shabby B&B that nobody really cares for. During the copious and excellent breakfast, I had the pleasure of talking (in several different languages) with the owner, feeling at home and haring experiences. Very special, indeed. I will be back! Nothing.
