• Astrid (9/5): Een echte aanrader - Top locatie en super aardige b&b eigenaren. Paar minuten lopen naar het centrum, maar toch net weg van alle drukte. Ivm allergieën had ik gevraagd om een aangepast ontbijt zonder gluten en koemelk, en het verraste me hoeveel werk ze er van hebben gemaakt. Echt perfect! Ik had net zo'n goed en lekker ontbijt als mijn vriend en het ontbrak ons echt aan helemaal niks. Complimenten! Niks eigenlijk. Er is geen tv op de kamer, maar dat stoorde ons totaal niet.

• Thomas (10/5): Ein B&B zum rundum Wohlfühlen - Das B&B hat eine hervorragende Lage, man ist in kürzester Zeit im Zentrum. Ella ist eine sympathische Gastgeberin mit vielen Tipps, man fühlt sich bei ihr bestens aufgehoben. Das Frühstück lässt keine Wünsche offen und wird bei Ankunft frisch zubereitet. Wir haben uns super wohlgefühlt. Da fällt einem zum B&B nichts ein, nur die Parkplatzsituation ist nicht ganz einfach, aber auch dafür hält Ella Tipps parat. Die Parkgebühren sind im direkten Umfeld happig, vor allem fallen sie auch an den Ladesäulen an.

• Ian (10/5): Great b&b in Bruges - Our host Ella was fantastic. She has great local knowledge, and was very helpful. She arranged gluten free options for my wife for breakfast and we were offered plenty of options on the breakfast with a wide selection of breads, fruit salad, boiled egg cooked to our liking, and a little treat (the first day was home made carrot cake, followed by gingerbread and chocolate brioche on the subsequent days). The room was a good size, with a shower and separate toilet. There was daily turn down of the room with water and tea/coffee provided daily. WiFi in each room meant we could watch programmes on our tablet or listen to music when we returned to the room. The b&b is also in a fantastic location as it's very central to everything, meaning you a 30 minute walk to either end of the city. If arriving by train consider getting a taxi or bus to the b&b though as it's about a 30 minute walk which is tricky with luggage over the cobbled pavements. Only minor this was no TV in the room to help unwind at night, but this wasn't a major thing

Ella ist eine tolle Gastgeberin mit umfangreichen Informationen rund um den Aufenthalt in Brügge. Wir hatten beide verfügbaren Zimmer, eines befindet sich im EG das andere im OG. Sie sind fast identisch. Absolute Empfehlung für einen Städtetrip nach Brügge. Unbedingt den Restaurantempfehlungen von Ella folgen, es war immer sehr lecker. Das B&B liegt sehr zentral, man kann alles zu Fuss gut erreichen. Wir kommen sicher wieder. Nichts.

The host was incredibly welcoming, really friendly, and made us feel right at home. They kindly accommodated our late check-in and took the time to share great local recommendations. The house itself is beautiful and adds to the overall experience. Breakfast was fantastic, with high-quality local produce and a great start to the day. We would love to return and wouldn’t hesitate to stay again in the future.

• Danielle (10/5): ♥ Wat een geweldige ervaring! Een verborgen parel in het prachtige Brugge ♥ - Wat een geweldige ervaring! Wat een bijzondere plek en vooral: wat een ontzettend lieve en warme eigenaren: Ella en Werner! Vanaf het eerste moment voelden we ons meer dan welkom. We hebben niet alleen genoten van een prachtige B&B, maar ook van het gezelschap van twee mensen met een groot hart ♥. Gezellige gesprekken, lachen, mooie verhalen en échte interesse – het voelde alsof we bij goede vrienden op bezoek waren. Ze gaven ons geweldige tips voor wandelroutes, restaurants en verborgen plekjes in de omgeving. Hun passie voor gastvrijheid voel je in elk detail. De kamer was perfect in orde: schoon, sfeervol en met oog voor detail ingericht. Een overheerlijk ontbijt met verse, lokale producten en zelfs een paar zelfgemaakte verrassingen, was verrukkelijk, met liefde bereid en geserveerd – precies wat je hoopt te vinden in een B&B. Maar het zijn vooral de persoonlijke momenten en de oprechte gastvrijheid die dit verblijf zo bijzonder maakten. We realiseren ons heel goed dat we echte geluksvogels zijn geweest om hier te mogen logeren. Dit zijn de ervaringen die je bijblijven. Een dikke aanrader voor iedereen die op zoek is naar méér dan alleen een overnachting. Kortom: een B&B zoals je ze zelden tegenkomt. Wij komen zéker terug – en raden het iedereen aan die op zoek is naar rust, charme en een beetje luxe in een huiselijke sfeer. Wij komen met liefde terug! • Gabriele (8/5): Wir kamen zu einer Familienfeier nach Brügge und fanden hier eine wunderbare Unterkunft/ Service. - Die Unterkunft befindet sich fußläufig zur Altstadt. Auf evt. Fragen bekam man immer gute Tipps. Wir waren zum Herbstübergang vor Ort. Leider wurde nur stundenweise geheizt.

• Renate (10/5): Ganz wunderbar, absolut empfehlenswert. - Der Empfang durch den Ehemann der B&B- Besitzerin Ella war ausgesprochen freundlich und informativ. Das Zimmer war einerseits (wie auch das ganze Haus) sehr gut funktional durchdacht, andererseits mit vielen liebevoll ausgesuchten Einzelheiten (von den vielen Bildern über schöne Karaffen und Gläser, den stylischer Wasserkocher für die Möglichkeit, sich Kaffee oder Tee zuzubereiten bis zu den Pralinen unter einer Miniglasglocke) aufgewertet. Das umfangreiche liebevoll zubereitete Frühstück ließ keine Wünsche offen, dazu kam noch die ausgesprochen zugewandte Art der Gastgeberin, wodurch wir viel über Brügge erfahren haben. Alles in allem haben wir bei Ella zwei wunderbare Tage verlebt, wofür wir sehr dankbar sind. Für mein Alter war das Bett zwar schön und bequem aber ungewohnt niedrig, das war das einzige.
• Claudia (10/5): Ein rundherum gelungener Kurztrip in Brügge - Lage war sehr zentral. Die Vermieterin ist eine äußerst freundliche und mitteilsame Frau und hat uns hervorragend betreut und beraten. Das Frühstück mit viel Liebe zubereitet und das Ambiente auch sehr stilvoll. Kurz gesagt, wenn wir wieder mal in Brügge weilen sollten, dann sehr gern wieder bei Ella. Danke für die gute Betreuung. Man hat keine Möglichkeiten den Koffer auszuräumen, da kein Schrank vorhanden ist. Hat uns aber nicht interessiert, da wir mit zwei Nächte da waren.

Every day a new bottle of water. The breakfast is copious and varied; every morning a surprise!! The house is in the center of Brugges, 5 minutes walking to Grote Markt. And Ela is Ela!!! She is wonderful. She gave us so useful information that our visit to Brugge was very complete, discovering places that probably we didn't see without her help. She helped us in organize our visits to Gant and Amberes, providing us useful information about trains, prices.... Brugge is lovely and Ela is lovely as well. Nothing, all was perfect

Her knowledge on Belgian culture and Bruges itself was second to none. Arranged us a top class taxi at a fantastic price when Uber quoted a ridiculous price for a 1 mile journey. Being a fussy eater I was worried how I would cope with continental breakfasts...i needn't have worried as Ella soon realised what we liked the most. Cant thank her enough really for a fabulous stay, almost certain we will re visit as we both enjoyed it so much. Thank you Ella.
• Lara (10/5): Lovely welcoming host with a perfect locatiin to explore beautiful Bruges - Wonderful welcoming host who is happy to offer useful insights into where to go in the city and beyond. Wonderful location near the quiet but beautiful saint Anna district, but 5 minute walk to main squares and a really safe city to explore day and night on your own. Breakfast was delicious. One really tiny thing, it would be good to have a coat hook on the back of the door.

• Kieran (10/5): Amazing B&B in a great location - Ella was an amazing host, she made us feel welcome straight away and provided a lot of useful information about Bruges and some great recommendations too. Property is in a great location, really close to the centre (5min walk) but not so close that it is noisy as it is on a quiet side street. Very easy to get to from the train station as the bus stop is just down the street. Ella provided a really nice continental breakfast every morning. The room was also very comfortable and clean and was a good size. Only thing I think the room could use would be an extractor fan for when you’re using the shower.

Ella told us about the city and gave useful tips regarding cafes, restaurants, what to visit, etc. Breakfast was very tasty every day. The property is located on a quiet street and room's windows face inner yard, therefore you get a good sleep. Highly recommended! It is just a minor thing in comparison to all the positives, but I would like to have a better-lit mirror to do makeup :) It was a bit dark in the room for it.

She prepared every morning very good, varied breakfasts to start the day with. The place was very clean and well equipped for a comfortable stay. Ella's house can be found in the historic town close to the Jan Van Eyck square also close to cafés, tea houses, restaurants and within a few minutes' walk from the historic sights. I can offer to stay in her house while in Brugge with a good heart. The weather could've been better though it was December.

This being our second visit to Bruges, she gave specific tailored recommendations and took the time to answer any questions we had. Ella had a generous breakfast spread available each morning and it felt like we were staying with friends. It was very clear Ella had thought through every detail of our stay to make it as special as possible!

It is decorated with very good taste and has interesting art work all over the B&B. It is extremely well kept and very clean. The owner takes very good care of the property. Room was compact but supplied all our needs especially our request for a quiet dark room. Ella is an excellent host and supplied us with lots of help with what to see, where to eat etc which made our very short stay so fulfilling. I would have liked a stronger wall mounted reading light next to the bed.

We were given lots of good tips for where to go and what to see. Lovely touches like the original artworks and delicious freshly prepared breakfast made this a great place to stay. It was centrally located but quiet and peaceful. I will be recommending it to all my friends and family and we recommend it to you too.

She served the most delicious breakfast each morning, a real highlight to our break.
