- Sylvie (10/5): -

- Lydia (10/5): Relaxing, great location and wonderful hosts! - The location and view were amazing, it was peaceful and the property had all the facilities we needed. Our hosts were fantastic, they gave us great recommendations and were very easy to communicate with throughout our stay. Nothing, we loved it! Would stay here again.

- Sally (10/5): We had a wonderful time, met by the lovely Loan who gave us such a lovely welcome and detailed overview of the area. We’ - Lovely quiet area and so pretty overlooking the canal, restaurants, grocery stores all within walking distance.
- laurent (10/5): A relaxing and well located stay with fantastic transport links and a beautiful view. - The accommodation was situated in a wonderfully peaceful area, offering a lovely view of the canal right from the property. I found the bed to be exceptionally comfortable, and the tramway links made it very easy to travel into the city centre
- Silvia (10/5): Confortevole e romantico!

All good
- Konstantinos (10/5): - Wonderful little boat house with perfect view. Super clean and the owners very friendly. They lend us bikes to go around. Everything perfect!
- Yimeng (10/5): -
- Hanna (10/5): Perfect for our needs! - Location, cleanliness, facility, and it was just a cute little space. The owners were so kind and very helpful. It was also a 15 minute walk to the metro station which could get you everywhere or a short bike ride to the edge of city center if you use the bikes they have for guest use. Nothing, everything was great!

- Sunny (9/5): - The houseboat was very cozy, clean, and had everything you need in a small space. It was such a unique and relaxing experience to stay right by the water. Once the windows are closed it’s very quiet, and having access to bikes was a wonderful bonus. The landlord was kind and helpful, and it felt safe and comfortable, even as a solo traveler. I also appreciated that there were some snacks, very nice wine, and beer available, and just around the corner there’s a nice hotel café where you can enjoy a good breakfast or lunch. Thank You Lone! :) Sound carries easily over the water, and since the landlord lives right next door, I wasn’t sure how much noise I could make. This made me a bit hesitant about playing music or talking late at night. It’s a perfect place to relax, but not for parties or staying up late being noisy.

- Judith (10/5): Wonderful place to stay for a visit to Amsterdam - The hosts, the location and the cleanliness Nothing
Heerlijk geslapen. Alles was netjes en schoon. Alles werkte naar behoren. Centrum makkelijk te bereiken middels openbaar vervoer. Rustige buurt, geen overlast van anderen.
- Guillaume (7/5): -
- Christian (10/5): -
- Travis (10/5): Exceptional -
- Hazel (10/5): Exceptional stay. - Cannot fault this little gem. Both hosts were excellent and the little touches added such as wine, beer, juice, fresh flowers,
coffee pods and milk were a welcome to remember. We also loved the views from the boat it was exceptional and even got used to waking up to the sound of ducks. Lone helped us plan the best routes to get to the different sites we wanted to see. There are also two bikes to use but we were too long in the tooth to use safely but a definite bonus if going shopping or riding to the nearest station where you park your bike and go. However we found we could walk to shops, tram stations and restaurants easily and it took about 20 to 30 minutes. We would love to return to this houseboat and would happily recommend it. There was nothing we didn't like.
- Sebastian (10/5): Exceptional - Great place with very nice view.
- Bryony (10/5): Perfect! - Absolutely loved our time at the houseboat. Beautiful location, clean and nicely decorated houseboat. The host was so so lovely. She gave us lots of advice and fresh flowers. So kind there were snacks and drink when we arrived. Would love to stay again. Perfect!
- Matteo (10/5): Exceptional -
- Max (10/5): You must stay at this charming treasure if you want to make your trip to Amsterdam extra special! ✨ - On arrival, we were greeted by the lovely Lone who showed us round the place. The houseboat is bright and beautifully decorated, with a terrace overlooking the canal. It’s truly a perfectly peaceful spot to watch the world go by. The facilities were top notch and we found the pillows at night time particularly comfortable. Lone provided lots of extra touches to make us feel at home.
The local area has a safe, community feel to it, full of interesting shops, cafes and restaurants away from the more touristy parts of Amsterdam. The houseboat is a short walk from Vondelpark, which is a must visit on a sunny day.
There are multiple ways to venture into the centre. We opted for the tram which is very straightforward, but you could hop on the train or use the bikes provided if you wish.
At one point, there was a short power cut in the property caused by some building works in the area, which Lone noticed before we did! This caused us no issues, however we wanted to mention her attentiveness and how quickly she popped round to make sure we were okay.
This has been one of our favourite places to stay and we highly recommend it! If you’re on a short city break and want to make the most of your trip in the centre, we’d recommend staying in the city for the whole day to save time, rather than travelling back and forth. Not really a negative, more of a hot tip.
- Jasmin (10/5): Exceptional - Everything was lovely Some extra blankets would have been nice
- Taylor (10/5): Great for stays on the water. Bedding is great. - Great property of the side of their own home. Very very small. Limited seating or personal space.
- Tracey (10/5): I have no hesitation in recommending this gorgeous little house boat.. we will be back on our next vistcto Amsterdam. - From the moment we arrived we were warmly greeted by our host.
There was a bottle of wine and traditional waffle biscuits waiting on our arrival after our long drive from Germany. Lone, the host was fantastic and went out of her way to make our stay memorable. The place was spotlessly clean, the kitchen had every utensil and appliance needed plus the bed very comfortable. Though the house is small is certainly does not lack any creature comforts and is quirky and cute. The bikes were a bonus and we were able to ride through the beautiful city park into the city, roughly 20 minutes and truely made us blend in as a local. Absolutely nothing
- Lelos (10/5): Exceptional - The place was amazing
- Guillaume (10/5): Exceptional -
- Maureen (9/5): very enjoyable short walk to tram - Owner was friendly and helpfull.Great place if weather was warmer.Snacks and drinks were supplied all toiletieres were there stairs
- Molyjati (10/5): Exceptional stay - Friendly service, cleanliness, facilities, decor and view
- Emily (9/5): Amazing stay with an amazing view - The location was perfect and the staff was very welcoming and helpful There wasn’t anything I didn’t like
- Lucy (10/5): Beautiful views - Lovely riverside property, excellent location. If you like wild swimming or cold water immersion this place is for you, there’s a ladder into the river. We came for the marathon and this was easy walking distance to the stadium. It’s well connected to the centre by a tram that comes all the time so don’t worry that it’s not in the centre. Lovely host met us outside and showed us around. Nothing
- Mike (8/5): Stayed 4 days and could of stayed longer - Great location. Great stay. We wrongly thought it was on its own and not part of there house.
- Jill (10/5): Exceptional - We enjoyed the location and activity on the canal, which you could watch from the deck. The bed was very comfortable. Although located a little out of the city centre, we thought it gave you a unique Amsterdam experience, especially if you make use of the bikes. The host was very helpful, and every tip she gave us was accurate and useful, especially local restaurants Nothing.
- Poppy (10/5): Exceptional - We had a wonderful time staying in this beautiful house boat! Lone & Eric are great hosts who are so welcoming, friendly and attentive to ensure you have a relaxing stay. Facilities were brilliant, you have everything you need and the drinks and snacks were a lovely surprise after a long day of travelling. The outside space is such a treat to sit out and enjoy the view of boats and wildlife. It's a beautiful space to enjoy after exploring Amsterdam. We would highly recommend and we will definitely be booking again in the future! Nothing, it was all perfect!
- Melanie (9/5): Superb -
- Adam (10/5): An amazing few days away! - Me and my partner loved the boat house, they were so welcoming and made us feel right at home. The boat house was super clean and they even left us snacks and drinks, the location was perfect and you can easily get trams to wherever you need to go. I would highly recommend, thank you Lone and Eric!!!!
- Joanne (10/5): Utterly fantastic accommodation. Boat life is FAB!!! - This was something different from the usual hotel rooms we book. So glad we chose this boathouse for our break in Amsterdam. Our hosts were exceptional. Great communication. Loved the canal on our backdoor step. Paddling our weary feet after a long day. Seeing the ducks in the morning.
Kitchen was fully equipped for cooking and full of complimentary goodies from our wonderful hosts. Spare UK/EU charger in cupboard if you forget yours. And there was spare toiletries under bathroom sink. Plenty of towels and comfort. We want to go back!! We didn't like leaving!! LOL!!
This won't be suitable if you are not already prepared to walk about a bit. Or if you're not prepared to call taxis. Worth the distance in our opinion.
It's 18 mins walk to the nearest metro but hey, we'd access to their FREE bikes!!!! I went outside my comfort zone to use the bikes. So glad I did!!!
There's also Uber for your airport run for under 28 euro.
You will need basic fitness to fully appreciate this accommodation, in terms of the stairs to bedroom and walk to metro. The stairs will be the same for most accommodation in Amsterdam.
- Michal (10/5): Exceptional -
- Annisa (10/5): Exceptional - The houseboat is amazing, fully equipped with everything you could need and in a great location (short walk to vondelpark). Could not of asked for a better stay!
- Simon (10/5): beautiful house boat highly recommended - fantastic location and beautiful house boat very clean and cosy with complementary wine and beers and snacks
- Chantal (10/5): comfortable stay on the water - Lone was very responsive and was very helpful. She provided many recommendations to us and also had stocked the kitchen with some treats, wine, beer, tea, coffee, and milk. The bikes were great and it was easy to get around the city. While not in the city centre, you could easily get to any destination. There is a grocery store nearby if needed. nothing.
- Karen (9/5): Superb -
- Nick (10/5): Enjoyed our stay. Would recommend - Nice little property. Ideal for a short break. Will be gorgeous when the weather gets better and sitting outside on the decking. For me everything was ok but, my wife isn't a fan of steep stairs.
- Michelle (9/5): A relaxed long weekend with the bonus of a hot, sunny day. - Really great location with gorgeous views. Near enough to the city for the city life but quiet enough to relax and get away from it all too. Really well equipped, the bikes were a huge bonus, we loved cycling the city. Nothing.
- Indi (10/5): Exceptional -
- Kieron (10/5): Superb and Quirky! - Really cool, quirky accommodation, in a lovely setting. Easy to get to central Amsterdam via a short walk and tram. The host was fantastic and included lots of nice touches like fresh flowers and champagne. The houseboat included a lovely outdoor seating area, mega comfy bed and all the facilities you might need.
- Anonymous (10/5): Had a wonderful stay and would highly recommend to others! :) - Very comfortable and cosy houseboat with nice views from the terrace. Hosts were lovely and hospitable. Beautifully decorated and kitchen stocked with all what you need.
- Monika (10/5): Great getaway from crowded Amsterdam city center - Very cozy tiny apartment, comfortable bed, fully equipped kitchen. Would recommend to bring slippers in winter time as we use to change our shoes and it was very cold from the bottom because of the water underneath. Definitely use the bikes otherwise nearest public transport is 18 min walking distance through a park and quiet neighborhood (tram will take you through all the downtown straight to the Central Station). We loved our stay ♥️
- Belinda (10/5): Lovely stay in quite area but not too far from main city - Beautiful small place with everything you needed - gorgeous views from patio N/A
- Rob (10/5): Great stay with great hosts - Well equipped, excellent hosts, very helpful and accommodating, beautiful setting.
- Peter (10/5): We biked as far as we dared. Cycling for the Dutch is second nature unlike anything we’ve seen before. A little scary bu - On the water. Delightful Host. A little warm because of the unusual weather.
- Leanné (8/5): Very good -
- Maree (9/5): Superb - Great location, property owners were very helpful. Not intrusive, but nearby to offer suggestions of places to go/thinks to do. Having push bikes available to use was a great bonus. We loved our time in Amsterdam 😀
- Anonymous (10/5): Exceptional -
- Micah (10/5): Unique Perfect for Short stay - Perfect location. Lovely and helpful hosts. Beautiful interior.
- Ella (10/5): Authentic Dutch Experience - Everything was perfect! The hosts were so helpful and friendly, really great people. Being on the water was stunning and the location was absolutely perfect. So great to ride our bikes into Amsterdam and have an authentic new experience on the houseboat! I ended up getting a bit of motion sickness just from the houseboat occasionally bobbing so if you’re prone to that make sure to take any necessary precautions! Other than that, loved it!
- Nicole (9/5): Quiet location. Friendly and accommodating owner! - Quiet location on the canal in a residential area, walking distance to the center, parks, museums.
Lona is very helpful. Lack of hooks, rods to hang our clothes, towels.
- Danielle (10/5): A tranquil, lovely spot in Amsterdam. Perfect. - A peaceful sunlit position on the canal, spotlessly clean, tastefully decorated, great host, had everything we need, very comfy bed, close to everything but in a peaceful, private location, nature, waking up to bird song, watching boats and ducks pass buy and a short walk to town
- Alexandra (9/5): Fantastic opportunity to stay on an Amsterdam canal - Fantastic place to stay, warm, clean and quiet. Easy communication with the hosts, and great to be able to use the bikes. The bed was really comfortable and really well stocked kitchen with everything you need to make a basic meal. Really nice touches with little bottles of wine, beer, snacks gifted to us as well. Absolutely recommend staying here! A decent walk if you take the tram from the airport (15-20 minutes). It's 10 minutes to walk to the tram to get into the city but this was a really nice walk and not a problem just worth noting perhaps if this is a barrier for you.
- Glenda (10/5): Exceptional -
- Agnė (10/5): Exceptional -
- Jade (9/5): Thank you so much for making our trip for my 30th birthday so perfect! - The houseboat is in the perfect location, between Amsterdam Central and Schipol Airport. It was comfortable, clean and beautifully decorated. The houseboat is located in a cosy houseboat community which is lovely to take a stroll around, or stay in on the decking and watch the coots, swans, ducks and greebs! The stairs to the bedroom are definately a challenge after a few drinks! - but a fun challenge.
- Gabriel (9/5): Superb -
- Emma (10/5): fabulous and quirky. enjoy the peace and quiet or hop on a tram for the city - fabulous location and the house boat was amazing! everything you needed was there. definitely will book again! absolutely nothing! everything was fantastic
- Jack (10/5): An amazing place to stay and a great time for celebrating the new year! - The property had its own independents and was set in a quiet location N/A
- Hayley (10/5): Exceptional -
- Gladys (7/5): Good -
- Klemen (10/5): Relaxing and very nice. - Amazing accommodation, very clean and perfect for two.
Located in peaceful neighborhood with amazing view from terrace.

- Sara (9/5): Superb -
- Jan (10/5): We had a wonderful time and our Hostess made it so easy. - The house boat was small but very nice, right on the water a beautiful view. Our Host was wonderful and gave us so much useful information. We loved the property, it is a bit out of the city center but doable by Uber or Taxi.
