• Alena (10/5): Great place to stay! - Everything was perfect. The location is excellent, a nice and quiet residential area, close to museums and the city center, and public transportation is nearby, including the 30-minute bus ride to the airport. Excellent water pressure in the shower and bathroom, and a lovely bed and linens. Cosy and stylish apartment! And an amazing bathtub! I only have two small suggestions. I stayed by myself for four days, but there were only three capsules for the coffee machine. For two, it would have been enough for just one day. And it would have been great if there were feminine hygiene products, just in case

• Ami (8/5): Amazing location, not super worth the value - Location was really perfect, easy transport and right next to Vondelpark. Really quiet overnight and fast responses from hosts. While it seemed like the resident was clean, it could definitely use a more thorough cleaning. We got minimal towels and toiletries that would not last us for the length of our stay if we didn’t bring our own. There are really no kitchen items, so prepare accordingly, (Cups but no sponge or soap).
• Ceri (9/5): Wonderfully decorated, beautiful apartment in great neighbourhood within 17 mins tram of central Ams - Loved the quiet location. Wonderful affluent neighbourhood with great restaurants, shops and cafes. Close to a beautiful park where we sat and had coffee and relaxed wander. Great jacuzzi bath and complimentary bubbly, nice touch - thanks so much - we loved it. It was nice to escape the madness of central Amsterdam and be so relaxed after our busy days. Slightly too hard bed for us though personal taste we know!

• Pryce Lewis (8/5): Wonderful location with a clean and comfortable room, strongly recommend. - I love that it was clean, organized, and centrally located. I would suggest a couple of items: first there was nowhere to hang anything in the bathroom, I would suggest adding some hooks for towels to the door, and maybe a shelf somewhere for bathroom bags. Second, the steamer doesn’t work to steam clothing, I think there’s something wrong with the pump.

• Ivan Panev (10/5): - The location is veri good. Most museums are 1-2 bus stops awey. The apartment is modernly furnished and has everything you need for a plesant stay. Pieter was very responsive. A very good place to stay in Amsterdam.

• Chilli (8/5): Location location - The location of this property is perfect. 1 minute walk to the tram line that can take you straight to Amsterdam central and all through the centre of town. 5 minute walk into Vondelpark. 10 minute walk to the rijksmuseum. The room was all that you needed for a nice stay. Prior to my stay I did read a couple reviews in regards to the cleanliness or the room. There was shower marks in the shower and it could do with a little dusting but it wasn’t a deal breaker. However for the location and the price I do think they are easy things to do and should be done. All and all it’s a beautifully decorated and comfortable room

Une attention avec une bouteille de champagne et d eau. Vraiment top. Le quartier est sympa car pas touristique. Cela repose du centre ville qui en a vraiment de trop. Tout était bien.

• Jacqueline (9/5): Great location - Location, premium suburb with lovely restaurants, delis, cafes, shops close to museums. Great support from host when we booked 2 apartments and only had pin for access to one. Resolved quickly. Thank you Lift out of order or blocked for use with an extremely steep narrow stair case and large suitcases from 6 weeks travelling. Party at back one evening was unfortunate. Inferred an apartment but just a coffee machine and bar fridge.

Felt ripped off. - Nice area near park but too expensive for what it is, plus noisy The area has a fair bit of construction going on, so be warned. We had a whole day of noisy joinery work on an apartment in the building. We weren't informed of this and booking.com did not resolve the situation when informed, nor did they offer alternative accommodation. The big windows and balcony hadn't been cleaned and felt dingy due to this.
• Connor (10/5): Beautiful residence, will definitely stay again! - The residence is lovely, clean, nicely decorated and has a really nice bath tub with jets. The staff communicated the instructions for entry into the accommodation clearly the day before arrival. I’d definitely stay here again if the residence is available during my next stay in Amsterdam. The residence is a little bit out of the way from the centre, we knew this before arriving and was happy as we wanted to stay near Vondelpark and the distance takes nothing away from our experience here or how great this accommodation is but after a few days the distance does become noticeable.
• Colette (8/5): Lovely location, spacious room and very comfortable bed. Quite expensive. - The location was very good - easy to get to by tram and a short walk from the tram stop. The area was quite 'up-market' having lots of cafes, restaurants and good local shops and bakeries. The building was situated down a residential street which was very quiet at night. The room itself was large, bright and pleasant and the very wide (6ftw) bed was very comfortable. The large double walk-in shower was hot and powerful . There was a coffee making machine but no coffee pods! There was no tea or coffee at all despite there being a kettle. We were told there would be a bottle of wine for us on arrival - but there was none. The bathroom and shower floor became very slippery when wet; perhaps a non-slip mat could be provided. Also, there was absolutely nowhere to hang the towels, so we had to pile them up wet on one of the sinks. We never saw the owner or any staff!

• Veronika (7/5): Decent stay - -walking distance to the tram stop and the supermarket -very nice and spacious room -very thin walls (heard everyone outside the room) -got small waffles with the coffee and tea that were past the expiration date (was good until 08/24) -spider webs in almost every upper corner -only 1 body towel per guest for the whole stay -no place to leave baggage after/before the check in/out -nobody came to clean the room for 6 days, didn’t even leave us a spare garbage bag, we used a shopping bag as a garbage bag.

• Modupe (7/5): Stay was okay, if it were cleaned better it would be a 5 star experience. - Location! It’s great and close to a lot of restaurants, shops. Also felt safe as a solo female traveler WAS NOT CLEAN! Arrived and wanted to take a nap. Pulled the cover back and the sheets were stained in multiple places. It was nasty. Also the bathroom floor and shower walls were nasty. The lack of it being clean made it uncomfortable. I spread my clothes on the sheets to lay on top of. Would not stay here again and wouldn’t recommend for loved ones to stay here, despite the great location.

The ability to safely open the windows for some fresh air was quite nice and the view was lovely. The room was super clean. The welcome bottle of sparkling wine was great. I wish I'd figured out that the bathroom was a wet room before I placed the towels on the floor. Some additional hooks would be extremely helpful.

If You are staying for a longer duration the property does not provide change of towels or laundry services . Infact extra dustbin bags were also not provided .

• Steffi (9/5): Lovely room in perfect location! - Super cute, cozy place that is located in an absolutely stellar part of Amsterdam. We walked everywhere from here and there are so many amazing bars and restaurants close by. Just for the location alone this was a 10/10. As for the room itself, the bed is super comfy, blackout curtains helped with the Jetlag, the decor and vibe of the room is lovely, oh, and did I mention there's a Jacuzzi in the room?? Communication with the owner, Pieter, was also great! We'd definitely stay here again whenever we come back to Amsterdam. While the room was overall clean and tidy, there were a couple of squished mosquitoes on the bathroom wall which was not very pleasant to look at. I also have a pet peeve for pilling towels so there goes half a star. One suggestion we would have is to add a couple of plates and some cutlery in the room for snacking throughout the day.

It was great to stay in a beautiful residential area with bars and restaurants used by locals but close enough to the city centre. This was an easy tram ride from the Central Station so worked brilliantly for us. It would have been good to have 6 coffee pods as we stayed 3 nights rather than the 4 pods provided and there were no cups (we improvised!) But we managed fine and we really appreciated all the personal touches

This was definitely my favourite area of Amsterdam and would highly recommend staying here. The property itself was top notch. Everything you needed was there, including a fridge, paper towels, some coffee, water, and bubbly! I wish I tried out the bathtub, it looked amazing. Loved the automatic door entry as well, made our stay very easy. My only complaint about this room was the heater. I am not used to older heaters that need to 'click' to function. I'm sure others would barely be bothered by this.

This is a perfect location to stay if you want to explore Amsterdam, specifically the museum and centre. It has amazing transport links and the area was clean and busy (in a good way) with lots of useful shops nearby The apartment is, incredibly clean, lovely bathroom, great views and very light. We had simple and excellent communication with our host. Overall, a brilliant stay at an excellent location. No doubt we'll return in the future. No mugs or spoons for coffee/tea but it wasn't a big deal.

I would definitely go back and recommend to anyone staying there. The only negative points we saw were that the shower drain was completely clogged with hair when we got there. We filled up the bathroom floor with water very quickly and had to unclog it ourself. Then there was a few dirty glasses and we thought the room could use a hair dryer. We communicated this to Pieter and her was quick to help.
