• Angéline (10/5): Très bon emplacement pour visiter Amsterdam, à recommander sans hésiter. - Appartement très bien situé. Il est au dessus d'un bar mais nous y sommes allés en avril et le bruit est tout à fait acceptable le soir/début de nuit à cette période de l'année. Appartement petit mais suffisant et équipé comme indiqué sur l'annonce avec tout le nécessaire. Nous avons eu une toute petite fuite à l'évier qui a été réparé dans la journée, très contente de la réactivité du propriétaire.

Ich war im Frühling in Amsterdam und die Unterkunft war etwas kühl. Wichtig zu wissen ist auch, dass man den Pincode für die Schlüssel auch erst ab 15 Uhr eingeben kann.

Cute little bar underneath that served great food and the staff were super friendly. The steps up to the flat are steep but to be honest we didn’t find them an issue. It was well lit.

• Martina (10/5): Wir buchen wieder ! - Super zentral und mit einem schönen Blick auf die Prinsengracht. Treppenhaus ein Ereignis für sich :) Wenig Ablagefläche aber ist auch kein Problem
• Giulia (10/5): Vista splendida e posizione perfetta! - Monolocale caratteristico con una vista spettacolare sul canale. La posizione è eccellente: le principali attrazioni sono raggiungibili con una piacevole camminata di 15 minuti e c'è un supermercato a soli 7 minuti a piedi. L'appartamento è super accessoriato: dai prodotti per l'igiene personale al phon, fino alla cucina dotata di tostapane, bollitore e macchinetta del caffè. Il letto è molto comodo e spazioso, garantendo un ottimo riposo. Il bagno, pur essendo piccolo, è estremamente funzionale e dispone di una doccia ampia. Come segnalato correttamente dall'host, le scale sono le classiche olandesi (molto ripide e strette): consiglio vivamente di viaggiare con bagagli leggeri o di piccole dimensioni! Forse migliorerei un pochino la pulizia delle stoviglie, ma per il resto tutto perfetto.

• Silvia (10/5): Casa tipica de Amsterdam - La ubicación inmejorable!! Puedes ir a cualquier parte andando! A 15 min de la estación central. Y lo mejor! Que estas en una casa típica de Amsterdam con sus típicas escaleras, que si vas con equipaje pesado es un rollo pero merece la pena! Y la calefacción de 10! El bar que tiene justo debajo, pero realmente llegas tan agotado de todo el día, que te duermes sin darte cuenta del murmullo de abajo.

Το διαμέρισμα είχε καταπληκτική θέα επάνω στο κανάλι και ήταν αρκετά ζεστό πράγμα το οποίο είναι πολύ θετικό. Χρειάζεται οποιαδήποτε ένα φούρνο μικροκυμάτων. Επισης θεωρώ ότι είναι πολύ απλό να προσέξουν κάποια απλά πράγματα, όπως να αλλάζουν τα σφουγγάρια της κουζίνας με καινούρια σε κάθε κράτηση, να έχουν χαρτί κουζίνας κλπ. Τέλος οι πετσέτες που παρέχουν δεν είναι αρκετές. Δύο πετσέτες σώματος και μια προσώπου για δύο άτομα για κράτηση πέντε ημερών είναι προφανώς πρόβλημα.

Ad una decina di minuti, inoltre, è possibile raggiungere la fermata dei tram. La casa è molto carina e con una bella vista sul canale. Le scale per raggiungere l’appartamento sono abbastanza ripide ma era chiaramente descritto al momento della prenotazione. L’appartamento è pulito e nel complesso ci è piaciuta molto. Ci ritornerei. Non c è nulla che non ci sia piaciuto, forse servirebbe solo qualche asciugamano in più.

• Alex (8/5): Dam canal location love - The location was everything! Loved being on the canal and in such a good location, we only used the tram once as it was easy to walk everywhere! I think a little hob or microwave would be useful. And the bin is tiny, pur takeaway bag was bigger than the bin 🙃 And there isnt a lot of space to put clothes - especially folded stuff. A few coat hooks wouldn't go a miss too! Love a light dimmer but it didnt go very bright so kinda felt pointless as I still needed to put a torch on my phone for extra light to do makeup etc in evenings.
• FERNANDO JOSE (10/5): Voy a volver a Ámsterdam seguro. Y a este apartamento . . . También sin dudarlo. - Lo mejor de todo es la ubicación. Y las vistas desde la ventana son una postal. El apartamento es muy chiquito pero muy acogedor . Estaba todo impecable y muy limpio. El baño es muy lindo con una ducha muy cómoda y agua bien caliente . La calefacción funciona de maravillas dado que vinimos en invierno. Tiene para hacerte unos cafecito muy ricos por la mañana . Tiene jarra para calentar agua y tostadora eléctrica. La verdad un apartamento increíble para pasar unas lindas vacaciones en Ámsterdam. También agradecer a Esmeralda la persona de contacto que siempre que le escribíamos nos contestaba muy rápido y nos aclaraba todas las dudas. Sin ninguna duda vamos a volver a Ámsterdam. Y sin dudarlo vamos a volver a reservar este hermoso apartamento. Lo único negativo de nuestra estancia. Nunca nos pudimos conectar al WiFi. No nos importo porque teníamos Internet y datos porque vivimos en Europa. El apartamento estaba impecable !!!!!! Pero la escalera de acceso no se limpia por lo menos hace un año. Y hay unos carteles que te avisan de no dejar nada de comida en el apartamento porque pueden entrar Roedores . Eso al principio te choca un poco porque mi esposa les tiene fobia y se quería ir a otro lugar . Al final No tuvimos ningún intruso. Pero ya empezás la estancia preocupado por eso. La hora del check-in es a las 15 hs y son verdaderamente estrictos con esa hora. Lo cual es un poco incómodo y te obligan a gastarte 11€ en dejar la maleta en un locker de la estación central . Y viniendo cansados del viaje, en nuestro caso llegamos a las 08:00 de la mañana . Tuvimos que hacer tiempo hasta esa hora . Volver a la estación a buscar la maleta y de nuevo al apartamento. Lo bueno es que ya te avisan de que va a ser así. Asi que . El que avisa no traiciona .

Stairs up to property are extremely narrow and steep , would also like a small hob or even microwave for times when you would rather stay in to eat.

It was nice to wake up in the morning and open the windows and just take in the fresh air. The bar downstairs had delicious food and drinks!! Do not be discouraged by other reviews stating the bar was loud. We stayed during the weekend where it is open very late and we did not hear any noise from the bar or patrons. Absolutely loved my stay here. It was a highlight of my Europe trip.

Great view of the canal, studio was equipped with everything you need. Great for up to two people. Recommend even with the staircase, no problems getting two suitcases up or down although we were in studio one.

• Ana (10/5): Truly amazing! If we ever go back to Amsterdam, we’ll stay here! - Our stay was amazing. The location is perfect, right by the canal and close to everything. The stairs are tiny, but that just adds to the authentic charm of the place. The apartment has everything you need for a couple of days, nothing more and nothing less. The most beautiful part, though, was the cozy corner with the canal view, we could have just laid there for hours, watching the water and soaking in the atmosphere. Truly a special place. -

Felt very cozy and comfortable, easy check in, nice bar/restaurant downstairs. It might get loud at night but I was there Christmas Eve and Christmas Day so it was very quiet I had no problem with the stairs as I only traveled with a backpack but guests with more luggage/suitcase might want to reconsider staying here

Il bar sotto l’appartamento è vivace ma tutto sommato non eccessivamente fastidioso! La serata più caotica è stata quella del venerdì sera… sabato sera più tranquillo! Consigliato! Unica pecca il porta soffione della doccia rotto e il fatto che mancasse un asciugamano da viso. Non arrivare con trolley grandi altrimenti sarà impossibile salire le scale per raggiungere la stanza.

Es verdad que las escaleras son empinadas y estrechas (esto lo aclaran en la descripción y es típico de Amsterdam), para mí es lo que le añade encanto! Volveremos sin duda!

• jenny (10/5): Ideal place as a base to explore the city - Great central location to explore the city. Comfortable with all the basics you need for a self catering stay. There was very clear information on what was available in the property for this. Added touch of tea/coffee and toiletries. It’s not that I didn’t like this but feel that it needs to be clearer on the information regarding access. To get to the property you need to climb very steep narrow canal house style stairs. You only find this out once you have booked or if you go though all the reviews. For us it was no problem and added to the charm of the stay. But I may need more clarification re this before you hit the book button.
• Beate (7/5): Amsterdam ist immer eine Reise wert. - Die Lage war perfekt. Das entschädigt sicher auch den Preis. Das Waschbecken im Bad ist schon ziemlich klein und schwer zu nutzen. Die Treppen sportlich echt nur was Leute die sportlich gut drauf sind.

La posizione è fantastica, 15 minuti a piedi dalla Stazione Centrale e 15 minuti a piedi da Piazza Dam, ma soprattutto in una zona fuori dai classici giri turistici, ma piena di negozi e locali molto carini frequentati da olandesi. Consigliatissimo!

The windows were hard to close. Maybe some softer pillows. But we used the cushions from the day bed. & extra throw blankets would have been a nice touch for lounging by the windows

• Philippa (10/5): - The location was amazing! Super central but not too busy for us unlike other parts of the city. The apartment was also the perfect size and had everything we needed. We loved being able to sit on the daybed and look out to the canal in the morning whilst having our coffee as well as during the quieter moments throughout our stay when we needed a little R&R. Exceptional value for money, we were so happy to have found this property. The check in was seamless and the host very responsive. The bar downstairs could get a noisy, but that was mentioned in the listing and was to be expected. The host did also accommodate for this by providing earplugs.

La ubicación, la vista al canal desde los ventanales, el espacio interior, la comodidad de la cama, los servicios (heladera, vajilla, secador de pelo, utensilios, etc). Está ubicado a dos cuadras de la casa de Ana Frank, sobre la misma calle Princengracht, con más que numerosos bares restaurantes y supermercados a un paso. La estación Amsterdam Centraal a diez minutos. Solamente pensamos en volverrrrrr!!! Todo nos gustó

• Plimmy (8/5): Location excellent but not for the faint hearted! - Excellent location overlooking the canal. Compact but reasonable size rooms. Shower room small but powerful shower. The bar underneath is open until 12 every evening. The stairs are very steep and spiral so there's hardly room for your feet. No handrail. Only bring small suitcases, or preferably ruck sacks. If you're tall and not pretty fit I wouldn't stay here. Bed is also high. The bar underneath is open until 12 every evening.

• Shirley (7/5): Steep steps and no cooking facilities. - The apartment is centrally located and a short walk to both the train station and the Shipping Passenger Terminal. The apartment has great canal views and is surrounded by cafes and restaurants. Although small, it is adequate. Although we were warned about the steep steps up to the apartment, nothing could fully prepare us for these!! As soon as you open the door, there is only door width and then the steep, narrow, winding steps begin!! We have stayed in apartments like this previously, but these steps are the steepest yet!! You need to be fit, young and unencumbered with luggage!! There are also no cooking facilities and not even a microwave to heat things in and eating out continually is expensive. Although Amsterdam is expensive and the Pride Festival was on, this apartment was expensive and not really value for money for what we paid.
• McNeilly (8/5): Typical Canal Studio. - Good location. There was noise from the bar downstairs, but this was not a big deal. The stairs are very steep and narrow which makes it difficult with 2 cases particularly coming down. The studio itself is small, not space enough for for a proper table and chairs. It was adequate though for 2 people who were just using it as a place to sleep.
• Kayta (10/5): Would come back every year if I could! - This is such a great location! Perfect walking distance from Amsterdam Central and everything you want to do! Down the street from museums and plenty of cafes, restaurants, and shopping. So easy to check in and check out with the Key available by a lockbox code next to the door. This is actually my second time booking this location. My friend made our reservation for this same time last year, and I loved it so much I had to come back. N/A, such a good stay! The hosts will warn you that the staircase is narrow and the cafe downstairs closes late. This is all to be expected in this area of Amsterdam, and I never had a noise issue and managed the stairs perfectly fine!

• Susan (8/5): Would come again!! - The apartment was as described! The location was perfect! We enjoyed opening the windows and watching the boats on the canal! The stairs were described as steep but I would describe them as dangerous!!! We had carry on bags and had difficulty carrying them up! It would not stop us from coming again but it was a big surprise! We were in Amsterdam during a summer heat wave. Air conditioning or at least a bigger fan would have been nice!

It's a lovely, genuine studio within walking distance of Centraal station.Lively Amsterdam on the canals. The access is challenging which is only obvious once booked.

• Gemma (3/5): Location trumped anything else. - The location was amazing, with good views of the canal. The room was extremely hot and lacked basic facilities like an ironing board, sponge to wash dishes even though washing up liquid was provided. It had dirty plates in the cupboard. Even the room was small there could have been more storage for clothes, even a shelf would have sufficed. A plug socket was hanging off by the sofa. Having the handwash on the toilet because the sink was so small was also annoying.
• Geena (8/5): Great location and views, room was great just a few issues with the shower - Fantastic location Shower wasn’t great, water didn’t come out of the head unless you hold it lower . The drainage was also bad so the bathroom flooded at times.
• George (8/5): Interesting to experience the Amsterdam canal life - Great location to experience a true Amsterdam canal life The 2 flight of stairs were vertically up, so carrying 2 20kg cases a challenge, not everyone would be capable of this, certainly my wife couldn't, nor anyone with a walking issue or strength issue, so perhaps this should be transparent to people when they book
• India (7/5): Good - The property is in a great location and in an area with lots of great places to eat and drink. The room has a lovely view over the canal. The property is above a popular bar that is loud until 2am most nights, although ear plugs were provided you could hear the music downstairs until it closed. Access is up a steep staircase that is difficult, so i would not recommend to anyone who has limited mobility. Although the property has a lovely view of the canal given the popularity of the location and bar downstairs, members of the public have a clear view into your room.
• Emma (10/5): Simply lovely - Everything was perfect. From the studio to the location. Very clean and just amazing in every way. They even had a corkscrew!
• Graham (8/5): Really good place for a couple of days, but if you have anything other than carry on luggage pick somewhere else to stay - The studio was located in an excellent part of Amsterdam; 10-15min walk from everything downtown you want/need to see; central station 10mins walk for any connection to events like Tulips @Keukenhof; There was only one big negative score and that was the stairs to access the apartment from the street … the listing said not suitable for anyone with mobility issues … it should have said, NOT suitable for anyone carrying luggage larger than carry on size (we are in Europe for a few a couple of months, so had medium sized luggage, but we managed with quiet some difficulty to get our bags up and down on arrival and departure) … I really believe a photograph of the stairs should have been provided and shown as part of the listing … if one was, we probably would have chosen another apartment for our stay;
• Olivia (8/5): Three Night Stay - Studio was very cozy and quaint. Clean. Very good hot water and the heating the room was lovely for the cold stay. Great location!! Couldn’t get better. Bar downstairs wasn’t an issue. It’s very nice! I recommend the burger! Upstairs neighbor was very loud with making noise late hours and early mornings. Managed to take my luggage up and down the stairs with assistance but may be tough if you have a 25kg Medium luggage on your own. Shower door and bathroom may need a refurb and maintenance. Overall really enjoyed and would stay again. Esmeralda was lovely. English speaking and quick responses and calls. She sorted out everything for me very quickly and was nice to have a quick reliable contact. Thanks for all your help.
• Anthony (6/5): Great location; terrible neighbor above. Do not recommend - Location was great. I know we were told of the noise in the area but that was not the problem. Saturday night the person living upstairs was having some party ands it was very disturbing. I don’t mind outside bar/restaurant noise, but a tenant in the building with ask the footsteps noises was very unfortunate. I will not recommend this place for that reason. I’m so sorry. Great location. Esmeralda was awesome! But the disturbance upstairs was just not worth it.
• Edward (7/5): Good - Nice place to stay. Great location. Lovely views. Kitchenette was poorly stocked. No method to heat food. The kitchen sink leaked. And around the bed was a bit dirty when we arrived.
• Mccaughey (8/5): Very good - Perfect location , 15 stroll from train station . Very noisy area and had to move people out the way to get to the front door of apartment. If you can't beat them join them though
