Wir haben über eine Stunde vor der Tür gestanden, kein Personal erreichbar, Gegensprechanlage ausser Betrieb, keine Telefonnummer, keine email-Adresse. Erst über einen Booking com mail Link aus einer alten Mail konnte die Unterkunft erreicht werden und später dann eine Antwort erhalten werden, die den Zugang überhaupt erst ermöglichte. Der Treppenaufgang war gefährlich eng, steil und schmutzig. Das Zimmer war so klein, dass bei geöffnetem Koffer die Duschtür nicht aufging! Sauberkeit war bemüht, aber nicht gelungen - am Klo waren seitlich aussen Fäkalienspuren. Zwei Handtücher waren da.

• Nathalie (6/5): Extrêmement déçue - La découverte de Amsterdam Aucun accueil, chambre très petite, pas propre ! Les draps étaient douteux ! En 3 nuits, la chambre n'a pas été faite une seule fois. J'ai eu un contact le jour avant le checkout de la femme de ménage pour savoir à quelle heure est-ce qu'on quittait la chambre. Je ne reviendrai pas dans cet établissement !

• kara (10/5): Best roof terrace best host made our stay 100% better - The host was absolutely amazing, she was so kind and friendly and lives in amsterdam so is very knowledgeable and always happy to help We got upgraded to the roof terrace room which was a bonus . It was very easy to find and straight forward instructions on how to find it and get in with the buzzer . The room was nice and warm the bed and pillows was sooo comfortable, the shower was nice and hot and load of options on the TV. The highlight was the cat Madonna.. the most beautiful cat we have ever met so friendly . We cannot wait to come back to this place again in a few months !! We have found our spot now and this place is literally 2 streets from snoop dogs new cafe !! Thank you for having us and being so welcoming:)

Кровать удобная, в номере тепло и уютно, приятно отдыхать после прогулок. I liked the room and its location. It is right in the city center, with everything within walking distance. The bed was comfortable, and the room was warm and cozy, which made the stay pleasant Плохо работал слив в душе и в раковине . The drainage in the shower and the sink did not work well.
• Rebecca (4/5): Disappointing. - Great location. Dirty stairwell leading up, no light in stairwell so impossible to see once dark. Very hard to unlock and open the door. There seems to be maybe students living there that smoke, blast music. Noisy, small, not as described. I was embarrassed i had booked this instead of a hotel. But now I know. Way over priced for a tiny room in a tiny flat.

• Colucci (4/5): Andrà meglio la prossima volta - L’unica cosa positiva è la posizione vicino alla stazione dei treni e al centro. La struttura si riesce a trovare abbastanza bene. Cattivo odore appena entrati, asciugamani sporchi, doccia mezza rotta e l’acqua non riusciva a defluire quindi dovevi fare la doccia super veloce per non allagare il bagno. Pulizia da rivedere, polvere ovunque e anche le prese della corrente non sono cosi sicure.

• Niklas (5/5): Nie wieder - Die Lage ist gut. Das Zimmer ist in einer kleinen Wohnung, die scheinbar teilweise privat bewohnt und teilweise auf booking angeboten wird. Fühlt sich strange an, durch fremden Wohnraum zum Zimmer zu gehen. Ganz wild war ein lautes Stöhnen in der Wohnung über ca. 20 Minuten. Ich hab es mich ehrlich gesagt nicht getraut, nach zu schauen, woher es kommt (anderes booking Zimmer oder aus den privat Räumen), aber sie hatte scheinbar viel Spaß. Noch paar Kleinigkeiten: Wasser im Waschbecken lief nicht ab, Dusche war nicht sauber & und es gab einen fetten roten Fleck im Kopfkissenbezug.

• Alexandra (1/5): Dirty and misleading - Leaving. My husband (30m) and I (31f) were booked here for 4 nights. We stayed for 1.5hrs, which is the time it took us to book different accomodation and leave. This property is a glorified hostel. The kitchen amenities advertised are communal. We heard every conversation through every neighbouring wall. The door shook every time someone walked past, which was often. The room was dirty with mould in the bathroom (and smelt strongly of mould), stains on the bed sheets, heavily marked and damaged walls, there was even a hole in the wall next to the bed with exposed electrical wiring, the list goes on. There is nothing private nor terraced about the ‘private terrace’. It is a void in the building, accessed through a waist height window with a solid wall on one side and windows into the communal areas and other rooms on the other sides. It was also filthy dirty and littered with cigarette butts and general rubbish. Truly the only accurate part of this listing is the location, but if you value cleanliness, privacy, safety and your sanity, this is not the place for you. Additionally, and unsurprisingly, we were completely ghosted by the host when we raised our concerns and requested a refund. We are now having to go through the booking.com dispute process which is beyond frustrating and unhelpful. It’s been two weeks since this happened and we are no closer to resolving any of our issues. I only hope this review can help others avoid the sh*t show we have had to go through with this place.

• Carol (5/5): - This is a room with its own bath and shower in a private apartment, which was fine. What was not fine is that there was no way to let the host know we arrived -we could not see a clear address (there is a '51', but no '51a' listed outside on that street), the host did not answer the phone or respond to our email as we stood outside in the street. We had to call Booking.com and go through chatbots before we finally got a person to whom we could report that this listing did not exist. After an additional wait, somehow they managed to contact the host, who let us in. Not what we wanted to experience after a long day of travel; we'll stay somewhere else next time.

• Monika (5/5): Did not meet expectations, expect for the location which cannot be faulted. - The location was amazing, the coffee machine is great and the bed was comfortable but this is where the likes end, If the location is what you are after then go for it! The host was very nice. There is is list of dislikes: - the photos are very misleading, the property is nowhere near as nice - the room is very small and feels like a dungeon - no air conditioning or fans, so it was quite warm on a 28 degree day (but OK at night) - the bathroom smelt damp (no window) - the only window is the one that leads out to the stuffy patio - the patio is surrounded by 4 walls, it's basically a hole in the middle of the building - the only way out to the patio is by climbing through the window

We would open the window for air and the people below were always smoking so would make our room smell worse. Photos make it look a lot better online and was hard to get into contact with the property owner on the day about check in or anything about our stay.

It was described as a Beautiful Dutchhouse… in reality it was a doorway between two shops with rooms above. We couldn’t initially access the property as the code didn’t work, although when we phoned, we were let in quickly. The shower cubicle was exposed to the room with a glass door, so no privacy. Very hot room. Couldn’t open curtains as window looked directly into the next room.

• Syasya (10/5): Centrally located and easy access to trams, attractions spots and even local spots. - The location is amazing, 5-10 mins walk from Centraal station. The room we booked is perfect for couples and if your mode of exploring is by feet, you can technically walk to any part of the city from the unit. Giovanni has been a great help for us during our check in and check out. He has helped to keep our luggages after check out time until it’s time for us to depart from the city. Overall i would definitely book a stay here again considering how central the unit is and how easy it is to find food and shop around!! Big shoutout again to Giovanni!!

• Andreas (8/5): Lovely stay - Fantastic location. Loved the terrace. Comfy bed. Very nice shower. The host replied instantly to a request from us and sorted it within a couple of hours! Overall I would go back again easily to stay for 2-3 nights (as long as i still have good mobility) Kinda hard access to the terrace. A small step beside the window would make the access much easier! Smell of dump in the room and bad smell of toilet in the kitchen (some times, not constantly) Skinny staircases. Not suitable for anyone with mobility issues. Small toilet (still functional though,with a fantastic shower) The tv is decorating as you can't use it (or is hard to make it work) The room could use a small cupboard or something

• Emily (7/5): Good location, quite loud but I felt safe. Overall I thought it was a bit expensive for just a room. - It was a great location. The description on how to enter the room was quite vague and could be improved. Also it has no sound barriers. You can hear everything and I mean everything in the building. It’s also a shared kitchen in a flat, which I didn’t expect.

The host was kind, but not at all punctual, and this ruined some of our plans (as we had only 1 night in the city). We received a different room than the one we booked. Also, it is not very clear from the ad, but other people live in the other rooms of the same apartment, so the kitchen was shared.

The room was ok, clean, compact, the amenities quite complete (towel, lotion, soap shampoo, water, coffee, tea). The kitchen helps us to prep breakfast. Thank you The only minus was the stairs 🤣 It made us had workout in the noon and morning. The stairs very tiny and small. Not recommend if you bring big luggages

• Tobias (9/5): Awesome! Will be checking for availablity in December now - On the day of the checkin they contacted me and gave me all the relevant information. Even left an umbrella for me and found a spot close by where i could do some laundry. Room itself in prime position the floor was a bit dirty, but that's more an observation then a complaint ... would certainly book again anytime!
