Guest Reviews
- Mark (10/5): Highly recommended. - Pete is a wonderful host!
- Chrissy and David (10/5): A welcome holiday from your holiday, especially if on a long road trip. - Where to start? Firstly, our host Pete - welcomed us warmly and made us feel right at home. Offered refreshments shortly after arrival, our room was beautiful and warm, bed comfy and room had its own TV, small fridge, seating area and coffee and tea making, plus chocolates and a complementary bottle of a really good wine. The house is just gorgeous as are the gardens, full of interesting furniture and antiques. It is rustic in places, and that for us felt far more homelike and comfortable than somewhere that looked like it was prepped for a photo shoot. Our host was generous and gave full measure with his provisioning, his hospitality and, most importantly, himself. Thank you Pete. Nothing……really, nothing at all.
- David (9/5): - A beautiful period home in Scottsdale. Quiet, lovely gardens and wonderful scenic views. Pete - our host - was full of good suggestions and ideas of places and things to do. He was spot on in his recommendations and we enjoyed more than we anticipated. Good company and a very generous breakfast set us on our way afterwards. Highly recommended. Nothing to dislike.
- Amanda (10/5): Lovely stay with exceptional hospitality - Beautiful stay and Peter cooked a lovely breakfast. We will definitely be back and recommend it.
- Lynda (10/5): Worth more than Pete is charging. - Loved all the antique furniture in the house and Pete was a terrific host. Great value for money. Lovely gardens, well maintained. Great breakfast. Wonderful bedding, but towels badly need replacing.
- Stuart (10/5): Fabulous - The location in a beautiful setting. The breakfast was phenomenal, with variety each day, and using the products of the area
- Caitacrawford (10/5): Welcoming host and beautiful property - Pete was a wonderful host who made us feel very welcome. He went out of his way to get different breakfast options for me as I don't eat meat, but I wouldn't have expected this at all. Very kind! The bedroom was cosy and comfortable. We loved the old style, and it's clear Pete has made a real effort to renovate the place. The gardens are beautiful and well kept. We were able to bring our dog, Louie, which was fantastic for us as he's our little companion. It's not easy to find dog friendly accommodation, and Pete happily welcomed him into his home. We would definitely stay here again! Just a shame we didn't get a chance to use the pool as we were so busy! But the outdoor area is beautiful.
- Jason (10/5): A quaint stay which takes you back in time - A magnificent experience with a wonderful host, extremely friendly and helpful with local knowledge.
- Allan (10/5): It was great - Fantastic

Our room was very comfortable and the home cooked breakfast each morning was absolutely delicious. We also enjoyed the lovely outdoor area overlooking the English garden. The host is very friendly and happy to share advice to ensure that guests make the most of their visit to the Scottsdale area. We loved our stay and have no negative feedback.

Peter, the host, was very accommodating, friendly, and helpful and prepared an exceptional breakfast with something for every taste. The attention to detail throughout the home is outstanding, and we enjoyed our stay very much.
The property is close enough to Scottsdale to walk, but sits all on its own surrounded by a lovely garden. There was nothing.
