• Gal (8/5): Overall we enjoyed our stay there and would stayed there again if we happen to be in Montezuma. - Amazing pool (worth staying there for this pool, quiet, clean, and you can see the stars at night) friendly and knowledgeable owner. Quiet location not far from the town/beach (about 10min drive). Property/room needs a bit update, especially the shower. The building itself is gorgeous! and the balcony with the Hammeke is amazing. Also, it is about time to fix the driveway leading to the hotel.

Chambre plutôt spacieuse, très grand balcon (avec hamacs) L'hôtel est très calme, sans doute parce que les autres résidents étaient bien éduqués mais aussi parce qu'il y a bien moins d'animaux (singes, oiseaux) qu'il y a quelques années. Le petit déjeuner servi par Juan est très bon. Il n'y a pas de possibilité de diner mais les propriétaires se font un plaisir de vous conseiller de bonnes adresses. Véhicule nécessaire.

Das Zimmer hat eine ruhig-laufende Klimanlage was angesichts der Temperaturen sehr angenehm war Das Internet war extrem schlecht. Wir hatten in keiner anderen Unterkunft ein so schlechtes Signal. Es genügt gerade noch zum Versenden von Whatsapp Textnachrichten. Alles andere war kaum möglich

Somit sehr ruhig und mitten in der Natur. Super sauber - großes Zimmer und unser bislang bequemstes Bett (King Size). Wir fühlten uns wie Zuhause. Das Frühstück ist der Hammer auf der wunderschönen Terrasse. Toll war auch das nächtliche Baden im Pool unterm Sternenhimmel. Hier passt einfach alles! Wir waren zu kurz hier.

Hosts were amazing with excellent tips and information regarding the surrounding area and providing a special experience. Large pool. Room was airy and bright. Outstanding private porch with hammock and chairs. Cool hacienda style building. Would strongly recommend.
• Pierre (7/5): Sehr gutes Preis-leistungsverhältnis - Schöne Anlage oberhalb Montezuma in einem sehr schönen eingebetteten kleinen Dschungel mit grossem Pool. Viktorianischer Stil mit grossem Aussenstehenden Essbereich, herrlich. Juan der Besitzer war sehr nett und hat grosszügig Auskunft über Fragen von Costa Rica gegeben.

The pool is large and I was able to have a proper swim & sunbathe - lovely. 😍 The owner is a good, friendly man, and we have stayed a few times now. Breakfast is delicious, and free! If you to wind down and just stop in serene surroundings, this is the place to be. 😁🦋🌺🌞💖 N/A

Buen estacionamiento. Disfrutamos muchos nuestra estadía :) En general todo bien! Solo comentar que si no andas en auto el hotel puede quedar más retirado. En vehículo está a pocos minutos del pueblo.

The swimming pool is an excellent size and a good selection of sun loungers to chill out. The rooms are well appointed and I made good use of the hammock on our balcony. Listening to the wildlife and watching the sunset. The location was good for us, it is set on the main road just above the town of Montezuma. We had a car and were in town in 5 minutes. We also loved Santa Teresa beach which was only a 20 minute drive away. If you are touring the area this hotel is a great find. We should of stayed longer

Les chambres sont spacieuses et lumineuses, bénéficiant d'un balcon avec vue sur le jardin tropical. La piscine est un endroit propice à la relaxation. Le petit déjeuner est très copieux servi avec des fruits tropicaux et une omelette gargantuesque.

Juan vous accueille avec le sourire en français et vous donne tous les bons conseils pour les balades ou restos aux alentours. Nous y sommes restés 4 nuits mais aurions pu encore prolonger tellement nous étions bien... Une superbe halte durant notre voyage... Nada ...

• Vanessa (5/5): - Das Personal war sehr nett. Die Unterkunft lieg ca. 5 Autominuten von Montezuma entfernt. Die Auffahrt ist stellenweise sehr matschig und uneben, dabei aber steil. Mit unserem 4x4 SUV sind wir gut hochgekommen, mit einem kleinen Auto könnte es jedoch Probleme geben. Leider war unser Bad nicht wirklich sauber. Haare lagen auch nach der Reinigung am zweiten Tag so wie zu Anfang vorgefunden noch in der Dusche. Das Klowasser lief mehrmals nicht richtig ab, das Duschwasser war teilweise kalt, man musste immer wieder neu justieren um wenigstens kurz warmes Wasser zu haben. Nach starkem Regen tropfte das Wasser im Schlafzimmer von der Decke. Das Doppelbett knarre laut sobald man sich drehte. Alles in allem waren wir mit dem Zimmer und der Sauberkeit nicht zufrieden, zudem war es sehr hellhörig.

• Thomas (9/5): - Sonia und Juan sind liebe und tolle Gastgeber, welche sich um die Gäste kümmern, Ratschläge für die Umgebung geben usw., auch das Frühstück war sehr gut und frisch. Die Anlage ist ruhig und schön gelegen. Das Schwimmbad ist absolut top und 24 Stunden offen! Die Checkout Zeit ist nicht so stur, wir hätten ohne Probleme bis in den Nachmittag bleiben können. Für Besucher in der Region Montezuma: nutzt dieses hübsche Hotel.

We valued places that we stay but we haven’t encountered anything like it before!!!! “Do this, do that, don’t do this”. FYI no views to the ocean from the property.

The salt water pool was lovely and felt like it was in a little nature oasis. The room was comfortable and we enjoyed the terrace for wildlife viewing. We saw birds, monkeys, snakes, and cool insects while we were there. Breakfast was wonderful and the location was great. It's up a steep hill outside of town, but the road was good and easy to drive. The wifi was located throughout the hotel, but it was very slow. It's a little bit hard to see the turn off for the hotel when you are coming up from the town.

• Sarah (10/5): Quittez ce lieu est supplice. - Hôtel à taille humaine, nous avions l’impression d’être chez nous. L’accueil parfait, jardin et piscine très agréable. Sonia et Juan sont de bons conseils. L’hôtel est à 5min en voiture du centre à l’abri du bruit de la ville. Pdj excellent, mention spéciale pour les pancakes. 2 nuits ce fut trop court Rien à dire. Partir de cet endroit c’est ce que nous n’avons pas aimé.
• Camila (10/5): Relaxing in beautiful surroundings - It’s the perfect place if you are looking for a relaxing getaway. 5 minutes drive from amazing beaches and Montezuma town and 30 minutes from Santa Teresa. The staff was so attentive and nice, suggesting great places to go and helping books tours and surfing lessons. We spent 4 nights and could have stayed one more week. Great breakfast too.

• Joe (9/5): Loved the Place! - Beautiful property. Excellent and helpful hosts. Beautiful pool. Great breakfast. Lots of cool Birds. Quiet Comfortable bed. Great A/C. Only suggestions I would have would be a chair in Room. Personally I would plant more flowers to attract Hummingbirds and Butterflies.
• Topf (4/5): - Ich war insgesamt 7 Nächte da und hatte den Eindruck dass sich weder um Gäste noch um die Pflege des Hauses gekümmert wurde
• costanza (8/5): - Nice Pool, really good breakfast, very nice staff, well located The wifi does not really work, the room was nice but needed a bit of maintenance (for the price we paid)

• Maude (9/5): Endroit paisible avec superbe piscine juste assez à l’écart du centre-ville pour apprécier la nature et le calme - Très bien situé à une bonne distance du centre-ville pour être tranquille. Un endroit paisible, propre, et réconfortant avec des hôtes attentionnés. Un succulent déjeuner et des bons conseils pour les restos et activités autour. Il faut s’assurer d’avoir un 4x4 puisque le chemin pour se rendre c’est pas évident.
• Perrine (9/5): Très bel hôtel et avec accueil sympathique par Sonia puis conseils avisés et disponibilité de Juan - Emplacement, l’hôtel, la piscine, le petit déjeuner et les hôtes !
