• Pierre-Jean (10/5): Une parenthèse enchantée - Un petit havre de paix en campagne Gaumaise, avec une superbe vue depuis notre chambre sur la Semois Il serait plus confortable de fournir un matelas 2 personnes plutôt que deux l’un à côté de l’autre sur le lit 🙂

Le confort, la propreté, le calme: parfaits. Les hôtes sont aux petits soins, bienveillants et charmants. Nous avons reçu un accueil extraordinaire dans leur magnifique demeure. Cette maison est un lieu unique, qu'on voudrait garder secret, comme un trésor. Merci! Rien. Tout etait plus que parfait!

Endroit charmant offrant une vue sur le cours d’eau. Les propriétaires sont très accueillants et n’hésitent pas à vous conseiller sur les lieux à visiter dans la région 😁 Super !

L'accueil hyper chaleureux, la relation de confiance entre les propriétaires et les clients, ainsi que le calme et la vue sur la rivière. Tout correspondait, et c'était même encore mieux! Un grand merci à Maika et Vincent pour leur hospitalité. C'était super. Rien.
• Marcel (10/5): Did not expect that - We did not book the breakfast,, however Maika & Vincent greeted us warmly at our arrival and asked if we would like to have breakfast anyways. Long story short - take the breakfast or you will miss one of the best breakfasts you can find. This plus Maika & Vincent were the highlight of our 2 day stay here - and yes we visited the Abby of orval. Nothing really ...
• Woutera (9/5): - prachtige luxe kamer met heel mooi uitzicht. Vriendelijke en hulpvaardige ontvangst; een welkomstdrankje. Mooie verblijfsruimte, waar we helaas nauwelijks gebruik van gemaakt hebben omdat we de volgende dag vroeg weer verder fietsten. Een tip: op booking.com staat de accomodatie vermeld als bed&breakfast. Dus een bed en een ontbijt. Dat ontbijt was echter niet inbegrepen. Handiger is dan om het uitsluitend logies te noemen.

Literie au top et endroit très agréable tout près du centre de Florenville et proche de l'abbaye de Orval. Nous avons apprécié notre nuit ... Un fond de musique au déjeuner et un peu de charcuterie aurait été appréciable. Cependant le déjeuner était très bon et frais.

Bijna alles huisgemaakt, de yoghourt, de granola, de confiture, het brood, .... De eieren van eigen kippen, tomaten uit de tuin. Biologische thee, ... Vers fruitsap, verse fruitla. Er waren ook croissants en chocoladekoeken en verschillende soorten kaas. De ganse dag gratis water, koffie en thee. De gastvrouw en gastheer zijn heel vriendelijk. Leuk terras met zicht op de Semois.

• Claudia (10/5): Eine sehr zu empfehlende Unterkunft - Die Lage am Fluss war genau nach unserem Vorstellungen. Wir hatten ein schönes sauberes Zimmer mit einem großen Bad. Das Frühstück war außergewöhnlich gut, sehr schön und frisch angerichtet mit selbstgemachter Marmelade, selbstgebackenem Brot etc. Vincent & Maika sind sehr nett und hilfsbereit. Die Restauranttips waren super. Die Matratze war für unseren Geschmack zu weich.

• Mark (10/5): A haven of tranquility provided by charming hosts in a beautiful riverside house. - Stunning location in a rural setting by a bridge over the river Semois. Stylish furniture and decor, spacious rooms, plus a delightful terrace by the river (with a free welcome beer when we arrived!) And such lovely, lovely hosts too. A superb continental breakfast available that was well worth the price. There was simply a profound sense of tranquility just being there: partly the peacefulness of the location, but also in the obvious love, care and attention given to many small details in this beautiful house. A very memorable place to stay, and all too brief! (We were on a motorbike tour...) Sincerely hope to return sometime. Nothing could be improved!

Mayka and her husband were so nice, that you feel like home. The place is very quiet, well maintained and so beautiful. The room has the perfect size for a couple, and it is very comfortable and clean. And don't forget to have the breakfast provided by them, with local products, it was delicious. Thank you both for our amazing stay!! We will definitely come back :) Nothing. Everything was perfect!!

• Evert (10/5): Exceeded every expectation - will definitely book again if opportunity arises. - Breakfast was extensive and excellent; many of the items were homemade such as the bread, the yoghurt, the selection of jams and the orange juice. Fresh fruit, muesli, some very fine cheese and limitless coffee. Right away we were greeted by the hosts who are fluent in french, english, dutch and spanish, who invited us for a welcome drink - an Orval for me, a peculiar glass of white wine for my partner which tasted of Elderflower. The room was large, cool even during the heat of the summer, and there was no ambient noise from outside or the other rooms. They suggested for dinner a brasserie with good food and a good price, which was within walking distance through fields rather than residential areas - a nice short walk after an expansive dinner was very nice. Through no fault of the owners, but there does seem relatively little to do in the surroundings. However, due to the amazing price/quality ratio, I would reccomend using this place as a center point for further exploration by car - a 1 hour drive will easily get you to numerous interesting locations buth for nature and culture.

• Johan (8/5): We throughly enjoyed our stay being out in the countryside just outside Florenville. The views from the property were be - The location was quiet with beautiful river views from the many windows of the property. A delicious breakfast was served in a very spacious light room looking out on the Semois river and valley. Our spacious bedroom was beautifully decorated with very tasteful colours. The large en suite bathroom was modern too. The owners have been upgrading and updating their newly acquired property for the past three years. Everything they have done is impeccable!

The rooms were super clean and comfortable. Breakfast was amazing, I recommend to take it. Most of all, the owners were super kind, warm and welcoming. I could not recommend more.

• George (10/5): Amazing - We were bike packing around Belgium and turned up much later than the scheduled check in time. The hosts were very understanding and welcoming despite the late hour. The room itself was a lovely surprise, very comfortable, lots of space and beautifully presented. The log burner downstairs was a very welcome sight after a long day on the bike. Highly recommended.
