- NAIR (9/5): - We had a wonderful stay at White Rose Garden. The please is beautiful maintained
Carm and peaceful location surrounded by nature.
The hosts were warm, welcoming, and always ready to help, which made the experience even more special. We also enjoyed the pet farm animals at the property.
Highly recommended for anyone looking for comfort, and peaceful farmhouse experience. We would definitely love to come back!
- Sandra (10/5): We had an amazing time during our stay. - The home farm is spacious and has got all facilities we needed. The ingredients for breakfast are high quality and fresh. There are animals in the farm and Liz and Matt took the kids around and let them feed them.

- Jessica (10/5): Incredible experience on a farm! - The farm stay was very comfortable and most importantly, the owners, Liz and Matthew were super friendly, kind, and made us feel at home. They pampered the kids with buggy rides out to their vast backyard where we saw wild wallabies! The farm animals are also super cute and the kids became quite attached to them after a short stay (esp the goat, donkeys and alpacas)! The kids got to feed the animals lots. The whole family had a wonderful time! A big bonus is the beautiful night sky full of stars. Nothing.
- Jessica (10/5): - We absolutely loved our time at the farm! The cottage was so beautiful - lots of rustic charm with mod cons where needed (great air con, modern bathrooms & kitchen). The gardens were stunning. The donkeys & goat were friendly. We can't wait to come back again for another peaceful getaway. All was perfect.
- Kathy (10/5): Perfect location. Beautiful enviroment. Lovely natural light. Owners responsive . Def book again. - Generous supply of food for full cooked breakfast. Kitchen had great range and supply of appliances, utensils and cookware. Property clean and homely. Great individual spaces and plenty of natural light and relaxing views of well kept gardens. Loved the sound of the resident donkeys greeting us on arrival. Easy short drive to Healseville and surrounding winery's. Owners available when contacted and friendly to speak too. Nothing to complain about.

- Holdman (10/5): Absolutely perfect. Beautiful property, hosted by beautiful Liz and Matt. We'll be back! - White House was amazing. Beautiful home with great furnishings and a fully equipped kitchen. Our host, Liz, had the fire lit on our arrival so that the house was warm and toasty. Farm fresh eggs and tomatoes, mushrooms, bacon, bread, butter ready for breakfast during our 3 day stay.
The kids loved the freedom to roam safely riding their bikes and visiting the farm animals.
A major highlight for the kids was riding around the farm on the buggy with Liz. The local wildlife was also a highlight.
Liz has to be the kindest and most generous host we have met. Nothing was to much trouble for her and she so impressed our kids they wrote thankyou notes to her.
We so loved our stay we are already planning our next visit. There was not one thing that we didn't like about our stay. It was perfect and exceeded our expectations.

- Tanya (9/5): Kids loved all the animals, which is why I picked it. It's just a nice extra, was very spacious. - Breakfast provisions were really good, I am just not big on cooking breakfast. Kids loved that they could spread out so you don't feel on top of each other and could actually relax. Loved the fireplace, needed sticks for my marshmellows. Just wish the other room with the 5 bedrooms was connected more to the house as had kids sleeping in it, was cold leaving the house to go check on them, they got scared due to spiders. You wouldn't want to be driving there if you had been to a winery.
- Lynne (10/5): The White House was beautiful, very homely, clean and comfortable. Liz was a fantastic host. - Breakfast was fantastic, plenty of everything to cater for our group of 10 for 2 morning breakfasts. The location of the property was fabulous only a short drive to all of the locations that we had bookings for.

- Bart (10/5): Exceptional - Liz went over and above for us, from organising breakfasts to having extra timber there for the firepit. her communication was top notch, and even helped us organise a driver for one day.
- Blake (10/5): Exceptional -
- Louise (10/5): Am idyllic country location for relaxing and discovering our beautiful forests. A perfect stay with outstanding hospital - The location is absolutely perfect. Quiet and tranquil, surrounded by the most beautiful forest. Close enough to be near Healesville as an easy quick drive but once on the property you were away from the hustle.
The hosts were lovely, they spent time showing us around but invited us to wander the property ourselves, feed the animals and feel at home.
The accommodation was clean and cosy, lots of bedrooms and bathrooms.
We were treated to a drive on the buggy around the farm, feed the lambs and donkeys and genuinely made to feel very welcome.
My children loved it and we thought it was the perfect base to travel through the outstanding natural attractions in the Yarra.
Perfect break away for the whole family, from the youngest to teens to the oldest.
- P (9/5): Despite being wintertime, we had a restful and comfortable and happy time, and feel refreshed - Everything provided for breakfast was good quality and plentiful and delicious.
The beds were super comfortable....
The extra fun things the owners did for kids.
The freedom to wander around...
The kitchen had plentiful crockery and cooking utensils...microwave, oven and dishwasher
The animals and the surrounding countryside Getting used to new appliances is always a challenge, but once mastered, they were fine.
The gas heater made us think a bit at first, but we soon became friends and it heated the place extremely well and looked like an authentic log fire!
And we had the split system also.
- Sue (10/5): Country stay perfect quiet and peaceful for the soul - It was gorgeous such a cosy welcoming home surrounded by a beautiful garden plus two ponies and a goat .
Our wonderful host had put bacon eggs tomatoes in the fridge ( 🌼adorable country kitchen 🌻) bread and cereal for our breakfast the following two mornings. Everything
- William (10/5): Exceptional -
- Stephanie (10/5): Exceptional - Fantastic space with fully equipped kitchen. The whole place was clean and tidy. Liz even took time to show us the animals and give some info about the property. Provided breakfast was awesome. No complaints at all.
- Melinda (8/5): lovely getaway with a few families, great spot to explore the area - comfy beds, peaceful and access to native animals and lovely generous breakfast few creepy crawlies as you can expect and limited reception and wifi in the detached bedroom
- Bernadette (9/5): Superb - Plenty of food
- Pauline (9/5): Great place for a large group - Close enough for quick drive, too long to walk from house to township
Breakfast provisions very good
- Tom (10/5): Exceptional -
- Valeria (9/5): great farm stay for a family who loves animals - we loved the house we stayed in!
we were two families with small children and were able to spread out into different rooms for naps
not to mention being able to pet farm animals at any time - kids loved it
hosts were incredibly friendly and flexible
we will visit again we found some broken glass outdoors where the kids were playing barefoot but no one got hurt and we just picked it up and threw it away
- Chris (9/5): Superb scenery, great breakfast, smooth checkin , nice surroundings for a quick walk - Breakfast was exceptional.
Scenery superb.
Fabulous fireplace and very quiet nights.
Plenty of local wildlife around the area e.g. parrots, kangaroos etc for you to observe. Not many negatives... if any!
- Belinda (9/5): Superb -

- Oil (10/5): Quiet and relaxing break away from the crowds and the bustle. - spacious, well stocked pantry & breakfasts and self-contained kitchen
- Brian (10/5): Exceptional -
- Xingrou (7/5): Good - We get to use the whole property as a group. . Quite exclusive.
Prefer the more modern design which is bright in the apartment The heaters from the bed is not working well. It keeps blinking under the timer mode. (Maybe we don't know how to set it right).
- Kangie (10/5): Exceptional - Lizzie provided an amazing breakfast, loved the organic produce & so much of it too, she went above & beyond to make us as comfortable, the kids had such a fun time & she made us feel at home
We will definitely stay again
Thank you so much for a wonderful stay
- Ranjit (10/5): all good - everything shower
- Anonymous (10/5): Perfect stay for the whole family! Absolutely beautiful! - Beautiful location, lovely owners, very clean, you have everything you could possibly need right down to insect repellent. Toys were provided for little ones, very cosy. Beautiful scenery! I would have liked a few extra towels, and a cutlery box that goes into the dishwasher when loading the dishes. I couldn’t find a sponge to clean the dishes. Very minor things. (Just being picky now lol) But other than that everything was great!
- Tegan (10/5): just perfect! - beautiful cottage, with amazing views. well set out with all the amenities you need. Lizzie the host was incredible, breakfast that was supplied was lovely. 🥂 nothing, it was great
- Kerrie (9/5): Superb -
- Hayley (10/5): Exceptional - Such a cozy place to stay. A gorgeous property with beautiful gardens and great, accommodating hosts! Was a little tricky to find - depending on what navigation app you use, the address takes you to different places.
- Rose (10/5): Exceptional - Hosts Liz and Matt were very friendly. Place was very spacious, comfortable and clean. Fresh breakfast supplies. Kids loved the farm animals
- Shiho (10/5): Lovely cottage and lovely hosts - The hosts were friendly and very attentive to our requests. We stayed at White Rose Cottage, the property was very spacious, clean and comfortable, also close to Healsville town center. Big enough for two families. The kids had fun, feeding donkeys and sitting by outdoor fire in the evening, roasting marshmallows. We would definitely come back again. we loved everything about the cottage. a little scary though driving back to the cottage in the evening - very dark, narrow hill roads.
- Erinne (10/5): Exceptional - The host was really hospitable and helped kept the fireplace alive so the house is warm and toasty to return to. Farm was well-maintained and the house was beyond clean and beautiful!! Breakfast and amenities are well provided for. I would highly recommend the Home Farm and kudos to the dear hosts for the hard work put into the farm and accommodation.
- Benjamin (10/5): Would recommend to anyone. Supetb location to explore the wineries. - Location excellent. Breakfast extremely generous. Wood fire lit before our arrival each day! Bookin.com description said it had 3 toilets. Only had two bathrooms
- Jenny (10/5): Thank you Liz and Matt for making our little family trip away a memorable one! - Liz and Matt have gone above and beyond to make our stay comfortable and enjoyable. The house was very clean, spacious, warm, and all the amenities, plus more, was provided. Matt even took us for a ride around the farm on the Gator! The kids had a great time feeding the chickens, meeting the donkeys and alpacas, and watching the kookaburras and kangaroos. Cannot fault it.
- Nickoli (10/5): amazing, can’t wait till our next trip back to south yarra as we will be back to stay again. - the host Lizzie and her husband are very kind and excellent hosts. nothing is ever to much trouble. the accommodation is very cost and can’t wait to come back. the animals and location is so good and very relaxing. nothing
