Guest Reviews
- Antonia (9/5): -
- Dave (10/5): Great - The location was rural, what we expected. It was great experience
- Christiane (9/5): -
- Heviago (9/5): Une excellente adresse !
- Frederick (10/5): Great - nice and quiet place to stay great staff and breakfast. Would stay again for sure.
- David (8/5): -
- Marisa (7/5): We only stayed out there because it was close to family we wanted to visit. But one night would have been enough for us. - I was a little nervous as the house looked a little old and a bit run down from the outside. However the inside was old but well taken care of. The hosts were very nice and the breakfast was excellent. Drought caused the grass and trees to turn yellow. But there were tall weeds around that could have been tended to. I didn’t like that although the ad said the property had a pool, it was actually not functional. That was one of the reasons I chose this place, so I was very disappointed we weren’t told ahead of time. Or that a discount wasn’t applied. I also didn’t realize how rural the area was when I booked. There is really nothing to do there as towns are teeny. If ur looking for an out of the way place for total peace and quiet then book it. It wasn’t for us.

- Anonymous (8/5): Relax and comfortable stay - Very friendly hosts, quiet and private environment, location close from some of the main attractions. Noisy air conditioning
- Vyara (1/5): We love pets , but … - I really wanted to like the place
We like the hosts , but unfortunately the property is fairly dirty and smells really bad (cats )
It triggered really bad allergic reaction and the smell will hunt us for a very long time
Could be a very nice place
I am sorry - did not work well for us and our vacation
- Emond (9/5): Nice house. - The house is beautiful and exceptionally clean. Breakfast was delicious! We only stayed for one night and did not notice any restaurants or attractions within walking distance. We enjoy more interactions with people, but we were the only guests during our stay, and the hosts were largely absent. While they were unobtrusive, it would have been nice to have a conversation with them. Additionally, the bathtub is very high, which could pose a safety risk.
- John (10/5): Very satisfied - Great, quite location, Nice room and excellent food Nothing
- Mandy (9/5): Paradise - Lovely location very nice people excellent breakfast some place to just totally get away from the grind Nothing
- Tony (10/5): Exceptional -
- Teresa (10/5): Exceptional -
- Pauleen (7/5): a very nice place to stay. Hostess was very informative about points of interest. Breakfast great. -
- Angels (9/5): Peaceful, relaxing, comfortable place. - This Inn had a lovely relaxing, restful atmosphere. It’s an old house, with old house quirks, but was very comfortable. The hosts are friendly and very helpful. Lots of communal space, in which you could sit and relax. Lots of outdoor space to explore and enjoy. Lots of books to borrow. Good location for Annapolis, Digby, etc while being out in the country. Very peaceful. WiFi could have been a bit stronger. Ok I’m the communal areas but doesn’t reach the bedrooms well.
- Raymond (10/5): A friendly & peaceful start to our holiday. Hope to come back again some day. - Breakfast was delious & plentiful. Nothing could have been better.
- Kayleigh (10/5): Exceptional -
- Jeff (10/5): Comfortable, cozy & delicious - The property was rural, quaint & comfortable. Simone met us & showed us around the house & our room. Our room was comfortable & spacious. My wife loved the clawfoot tub. Breakfast was delicious & filling. The pool closes at 5p.
- Szymon (10/5): Exceptional - We had a lovely stay! The host was incredibly friendly and welcoming, making us feel at home right away. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, and every detail was taken care of with the guests' comfort in mind. The breakfast was delicious and prepared with the utmost care. We would definitely love to return here again and highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a unique experience!
- Xiongwei (10/5): An ideal first night on arrival to Canada - The Host was very welcoming, attentive, happy to answer our questions, esp. that we only arrived to Canada on the day. The Host was very well-prepared and had details of restaurants nearby (it was Sunday night when we reached the destination), knew about local farms (we wanted to buy some seasonal fruit) and gave us excellent recommendations when it came to local attractions, e.g. Annapolis Royal (we highly recommend it - it was about 15 mins to drive there from the property), Digby, Lunenburg, to name but a few. There are a number of brochures, even local newspapers (an amazing read by the way - I read the entire edition!) to help you immerse in the beauty of Nova Scotia. The property is beautiful and peaceful, very spacious, there is plenty of space for walking, playing tennis or football; one can hear all nature sounds there. The house is full of interesting books and art, which made it an even more enjoyable night and morning. There are kitchen facilities that can be used to made coffee or tea. Our room had a number of amenities, it was well-equipped and the bathroom also met our expectations. Not applicable. There were none.
- R.l (10/5): Timeless heritage house with a feeling of home. - It was beautiful!! Comfy beds, ample breakfast, kind host Simone. There’s no coffee ion the room. BUT there is piping hot self serve in the breakfast area.
- Julie (9/5): Superb - The breakfast was fabulous.
- Paula (10/5): Exceptional -
- Helen (10/5): Exceptional -
- Zorec (7/5): A stay in Paradise. - The host was very kind and friendly. The breakfast was excellent. The room we stayed in was clean, cool, and comfortable. Although the owners maintained cleanliness, because the house is old, it had a damp and musty smell in the main area.
- Ceta (10/5): Exceptional -
- Ragne (10/5): Cosy and restful stay at a beautiful farm - I enjoyed my stay at Burnbrae farm very much because of the beautiful house and surroundings, as well as the hospitality of Simone. The house is very old and cute, beautifully renovated, very cosy. The breakfast was very tasty, and I had a few take-out suppers outside at a picnic table. Simone was very warm and helpful with suggestions about activities around Paradise, she gave me maps and tips for my trip! I cannot think of anything.
- Vasile (10/5): Exceptional - Breakfast was exceptional

- Anonymous (9/5): Superb - Beautiful historic rooms. The breakfast that big enough to wrap a few leftovers in my napkin for a lunch snack. Too good to waste!

- Austin (10/5): definitely a rare gem in Paradise - The house was a nice and so old fashioned I loved it. The room was so nice and clean. I really enjoyed our stay and it was child friendly - always a bonus when staying with kids.
The breakfast was so wonderful. The huge backyard with lots to do There was nothing I didn't like

- Mark (10/5): Exceptional - Love this place
Fantastic hosts
Very comfortable place to stay in Annapolis Valley
- Patrik (10/5): loved it! - Simone, the host, welcomed us with the words “welcome in paradise”. And that was exactly what it was. A nice, spacious and comfortable room, fresh and balanced breakfast (which did not leave open any wishes) and super hosts which were always ready for a nice chat. there is nothing to dislike about this accommodation.
- George (10/5): Exceptional - Everything
- Sue (8/5): enjoyed our stay very much. - very quiet location, a beautiful farmhouse. breakfast was delicious and our host was most helpful in suggesting dining locations in the area. an extra outlet for charging our phones & iPads would have been useful…other than that, no complaints.
- Marc (10/5): Exceptional -
- Anonymous (9/5): very enjoyable - Simone

- Royanddonna (10/5): Paradise farm9 - Breakfast was healthy and delicious the room was cozy and the bathroom was very clean and the clawfoot tub was great. We had no soap and I believe it may have been an oversight.
