The amount of space we had was great - it was half a house! It was comfortably furnished and all we needed. There was a spacious lounge room with air conditioning. Breakfast was generous and we were supplied with more than we needed. The walk to the Main Street was past the town’s water tower which has been made into a huge wine bottle. A very pleasant area!

Liked the availability of Wi-Fi and login instructions were clear. However, on this occasion we did not need it. There is very little of any significance not to like about this property.
Perhaps a tub of yoghurt with breakfast would be a nice addition - but that is being a bit picky (It was great).
The photo's provided a clear indication of what to expect and the notes provided gave plenty of detail about where to park and how to obtain access. It was noted that the photo's did not include an external view of the property and google maps showed an early version of the property next door. Only confused for a brief moment but an external photo might be helpful.
- Peter (9/5): Excellent accommodation with very good ammeities. A good walk or short drive into town. Very quiet. - Excellent continental breakfast, nice large lounge room and comfy lounge. Comfortable bed. Very quiet location.

- Martin (9/5): great spot for a break in Rutherglen - very roomy and well appointed we had a little trouble finding the property as our google search took us to a back lane
- Lynn (9/5): Everything well prepared. Breakfast’s were plentiful and fresh. - Spacious, clean, comfortable and quiet. No dislikes.
- John (10/5): Excellent - The breakfast, which was included, was very well catered. In addition there were various other goodies provided. A separate private lounge room and breakfast room were a lovely surprise.
- Marion (9/5): Definitely recommend - Property was beautiful and big, including a full sized lounge room. Great variety of choice for breakfast. Super clean Longish walk to town centre but fine for younger legs!
- Maureen (6/5): Pleasant - Breakfast inclusions good.
Comfortable bed.
10 minute walk into Rutherglen.
Lovely location for dinner, coffee and shopping. Heating needs to be controlled by guests not hosts
Washing up facilities need to be upgraded from bathroom sink if breakfast is provided otherwise a welcome wine/chocolates on arrival.
Map with directions and info of best eateries in town.
- Montana (9/5): Superb -
- Glenys (10/5): Way more than I expected - All the little extras eg fresh milk not long life, vanilla wafers, chips, biscuits
- Michelle (10/5): I would thoroughly recommend staying at James Court Suite. it was in a lovely quiet court with ample parking. - The property was lovely and quiet. We thought we were at the wrong place at first then realized it is a private house which has been sectioned off. it was very spacious and there was a big lounge with comfy chairs and a flatscreen TV. We had a separate dining room which was well equipped with microwave fridge and Breakfast goods. The bed was super comfortable and we had a good sized en-suite. Nothing. We had everything we needed for our stay.
- Linda (9/5): clean , comfortable, roomy and continental breakfast included. - own private entrance, comfortable bed, plenty of room and very clean. nothing
- Annette (9/5): Everything was great, little touches with breakfast, good towels, good housekeeping - Very comfortable, warm, great do it yourself breakfast, well appointed Something small, would be nice to have TV in bedroom
- Jane (9/5): Quiet and extremely comfortable.Loved the retirees dice! - Suitable breakfast for us . There was nothing we didn't like.
- Frankrhonda (10/5): Exceptional - Cleanliness, VERY8 comfortable bed, friendly obliging hosts, quiet neighbourhood, ducted heating during winter set to a sensible temp ie not too hot nor too cold, personalised touches above and beyond expectations..9.5/10 Our ONLY suggestion would be to leave a packet of kitchen wipes in dining area just for guests to wipe down surfaces after breakfast if they want to. Also perhaps a plastic bowl to put dishes into after rinsing at bathroom handbasin
- Helen (9/5): Located in a quiet area with superbly well appointed rooms. - The rooms were spotlessly clean and well appointed. Breakfast provisions were ample and the TV viewing options were excellent. Not able to adjust or turn off heater and there was no water tap or sink in the kitchen area.
- Tom (8/5): Very good -
- Humphrey (5/5): Potentially a great stay but needs a bit of love. - The location is good, very easy walk into town. The continental brekkie left was fine and suitable, all of the products left for our usage were great. The property is void of personality, felt like it was an empty shell when we arrived. A bed, a couch and chairs and an eating table with a couple of chairs, but it just needs dressing up. The area has no heating available that you can control, it's obviously on a preset system, didn't suit us.There also needs to be a source of running water available in the area where the meals area is. Just to wash dishes in the vanity sink is not suitable.
- Peter (10/5): Stylish and comfortable self contained unit. - The property is a stylish modern unit with a touch of old world with some classic furniture.
Provisions as a bed and breakfast were very well stocked with a range of food items located in a separate dining room
. A comfortable bed and ensuite were much appreciated. The location of the property is in a quiet court surrounded by modern homes approx 1 km from the Rutherglen shopping precinct. Off street parking as well. I enjoy my overnight stay at James Court Suite. Only suggestion would be a lamp in the lounge room. I think the lack of a sink for washing dishes may be an issue for a longer stay unless these are replaced on a daily basis as per what would happen in a motel.
Overall nothing of concern really
