• Jodie (10/5): Clean, comfortable and all amenities provided! - The house was very clean, neat and tidy. All amenities were thought of and provided, the heating was fantastic and made the house very cosy. The beds are a little sagy and not as comfortable as the rest of the house.

• William (8/5): A clean, well-organized fully-furnished home with everything necessary. - As I had previously stayed here, I knew what to expect, and was happy with my choice. The house was clean and well-appointed, with two bedrooms, a good A/C system, and all of the appliances one would want for an extended stay... my stay was only overnight. The kitchen was stocked with the necessaries to prepare a continental breakfast, a bit more like an "AirBnB" type property than a traditional B&B, where a full breakfast is the norm. However, the loaf of bread, juice, the coffee and tea fixings, a couple of choices of jam and a fresh bottle of full cream milk and large new container of butter were exactly what I was hoping for (along with the Vegemite!). Base on my other experiences on my 3 week road trip around SE Australia, this might have been priced just a bit on the high side.

Great haven surrounded by beautiful gardens. Everything was spotless. The cottage was so thoughtfully appointed, comfortable and quiet. Dawn was fantastic as well. Nothing. Everything was perfect! Nothing needs changing or improving.

• Heather (10/5): Spacious house in a quiet but convenient location. - This was a lovely house with spacious rooms in a quiet location yet it was easy to walk to restaurants. It was spotlessly clean and the bed was really comfy. There was a huge back yard too. The owner was good to communicate with. Disappointingly for a B&B, the breakfast was only cereal and white bread with spreads.

We inquired about the BBQ and it was set up in minutes. Dawn was an excellent host and communicator even though she is not onsite - rather next door. Location is fabulous. Bedding super comfortable.

The beautiful succulent garden was just the icing on the cake. we will definitely detour through Rutherglen again. no complaints.
