• Richard (10/5): C’est bon. - Lovely quiet B&B. Our room was cozy with one of the most comfortable beds I’ve ever slept in. The bathroom was so clean and modern with a great shower. Although we didn’t use it there is a beautiful heated pool on the premises. Sylvie and Yves are gracious hosts and they serve a leisurely gourmet breakfast with an excellent presentation of each course. One of the best breakfasts we’ve ever eaten. We would definitely come back to this beautiful place. C’est bon!
• Kathleen (10/5): Perfectly and stunningly delightful in every way! - This stay was beyond our wildest expectations and our favorite stay of the many, many places we stayed in Eastern Canada during our 3 week visit and honestly of the many places we’ve stayed in our travels around the world over many years. Sylvie and Yves were delightful, entertaining and caring hosts. Their beautifully renovated 1881 home and our room had all the creature comforts you would need and honestly more! The location of their home, with beautiful views of the river and the countryside was quiet, serene and extremely relaxing. We were treated to an unexpected, beautifully prepared, elegant and creative 5-course gourmet breakfast cooked by Yves and presented to us with a truly engaging presentation by Yves describing the history and culture of gastronomy in Quebec. I’ve never experienced anything like this — entertaining and educational and a delight to all of your senses. We felt as though we were in a Michelin star restaurant with the chef preparing and presenting his food especially just for us!! What an unexpected delight!!

Tellement passionné que la glace avait fondue avant d’avoir notre cocktail 😂 Peut-être vérifier le lit de la chambre du rez de chaussée, il penchait un peu sur le côté de la porte.

We felt very pampered, especially with the exquisite breakfasts that Yves lovingly prepares and Sylvie presents each morning. Our room was well appointed and spotless. We had an awesome view of the Sainte Laurence River from our room. The attention to detail is quite evident. The location in the village of Sainte Jean was a perfect sanctuary during our visit to I'ile d'Orleans.
• Lawrence (1/5): The worst stay ever! - Nothing.. Everything was bad at this property. We left early. It was the worst experience we ever had. The pictures they had on their website looked nothing like what our rooms actually looked like. False advertising!

• Elizabeth (10/5): An oasis of beauty and calm with an amazing breakfast! - The location is amazing. You are on a lovely pastoral island and in a quiet oasis. The pool is such a wonderful option. The hosts, Sylvie and Yves, were gracious and warm. Another outstanding feature is the 5 course slow breakfast, provided by Yves, and each course described as it was served. This was one of the most outstanding meals I have had in my life, and certainly the very best breakfast. If you are a fan of granola and quick scrambled eggs and don’t want a two hour breakfast then you are missing out on an incredible experience. The neighborhood cats were noisy at night.

• Robert (10/5): A gem - one of our best lodging experiences in a long time! - Do not miss a chance to stay here! The location is idyllic, in a quiet area mid-island. Restaurants and a store are a short drive. The rooms are recently remodeled with thoughtful, high quality touches - like the extremely comfortable bed that folds and raises with a remote, a toilet whose bowl lights up if you approach in the dark, an overhead soaker shower as well as handheld wand with beautiful scene on the wall, etc. The hosts and their pets welcome you into their home as if you’re old friends. And then there’s the magnificent breakfast - a multi course gourmet experience, probably the best we’ve ever had, and all from fresh local ingredients. A slice of heaven a short drive from the city! It was perfect!
• Boyoon (10/5): Incredible breakfast - Unbelivable 4 course breakfast, the host said brunch which I never had before anywhere. They might be dishes at a Mishelain star restaurant, and take1 and half hours to finish. The room is large and very clean. I like the take-off shoes system in the house. None.
• Ross (10/5): delightful - Breakfast is included and you really want it. trust me, it was the best breakfast that I ever had, followed up with another breakfast that was equally great. Fabulous view off the deck, nice pool, good garden and grounds. Our room was downstairs, very comfortable nicely finished and easy to enjoy. Big shower with a rain head, really nice space with lots of room. Super hosts, Yves and Shirley. I can't wait to visit again! Nothing that I could think of except Yves cooking is so good they sure serve dinner too, it would easily be the best on the island.
• Wendy (10/5): Beyond our expectations! - Our stay was magical in every way! The host and hostess were in the heated pool as we arrived and immediately made us feel at home. The room was spectacular with huge windows and a lovely bathroom . We did not expect a 2 hour gourmet breakfast with delightful surprises and adorable company in 2 guests who were Broadway actors. Felt like I was in a movie! Merci beaucoup! That we had to leave!

• Rich (10/5): Exceeded our expectations! - The hosts, Yves and Silvie, were warm, generous and interesting. The room was charming, meticulously clean and the mattress was wonderful! Every morning they prepared and served a 4 course gourmet meal, which we enjoyed on their lovely patio overlooking the river. An incredible gastronomic experience! Fresh ingredients from their garden and locally sourced from the island. We can't wait to return! Everything was great and we hated to leave!
