• Sondra (10/5): - You are staying in a family’s home in a private room with a bathroom. The family is SO WONDERFUL AND KIND. They invited us to see them play their music, and that was so fun. They ask what time you would like breakfast each day. We stayed three nights and it was sad to leave.

• Joran (10/5): 10/10 - We stayed in one of the 3 guest rooms upstairs. - really clean room - shared bathroom for the 3 guest rooms was clean - strong water pressure in the shower - amazing hosts who are happy to give advice and talk - great breakfast with really flexible times -quiet location Thanks again for the room, hope we see you again some time :D Location is uphill which for most people is not a big deal at all. Just be prepared for the walk back from the city center after a long day.

• Erica (8/5): A comfortable venue from which to explore Puerto Varas - The property was clean. It is about a 15 minute walk (downhill) to the town. The hosts were extremely helpful and amenable. Puerto Varas is a beautiful lake-side town with a snow-capped volcano as its backdrop. The bathroom facilities were a bit tired. Depending on your fitness, the walk back from town might take longer.
• Michael (10/5): Exceptional - This was my favourite accommodation during my trip to South America. It is such a lovely place to stay and feel like home. Located in a peaceful neighbourhood, easy walking distance from the centre and close to bus routes. The hosts were amazing, very friendly and kind. They even went out of their way to help us when our baggage was lost by an airline - thank you so much!
• Caroline (9/5): Great Bed and breakfast in the Lake District . - This is a bed and breakfast in a good location for the centre. ( walking ) . It’s near the bus station and good if you have a car as there is parking . The hosts are very friendly and give good advice as to where to go and breakfast is nice . The room is quite small but that’s not really a major problem.
• Wolfe (10/5): Special gem with wonderful hosts! - The room was small, clean and comfortable-exactly what we needed. the location great 1km from town, in a very safe area -honestly all of Puerto Varas feels very safe and walkable. Now what is exceptional is Carmen and Rafael! They are welcoming, kind, helpful, and truly want to assist you in whatever it is you might want or need. They make you feel at home!
• Sabine (10/5): Exceptional - Carmen and Rafael are the most lovable hosts, they made us feel at home at once. Rafael even jumped into the car when they noticed that we’d forgotten something and brought it to the bus station! Their home is just lovely and cozy and it was all superclean. It’s in a very safe neighbourhood and about a 10 minute walk from the town center. The best place I‘ve stayed on my trip so far!

• Steve (10/5): Tucked away in a quiet neighborhood close to downtown. - The room was quiet and comfortable and the bathroom worked well. Everything was very clean. The location is a 15-minute walk to the city center. The owner and her son were very helpful, and picked me up and dtove me to their place when I first arrived in Puerto Varas.

• Ann (10/5): Perfect Stay - We were welcomed as travelers and not as tourists. The owners are warm and kind; sharing a bit of themselves so that we felt as if we stayed in a home. We had the two upstairs rooms and found them extremely comfortable. The shared bathroom has a shower with good pressure and hot water. Breakfast was served in a lovely dining area filled with local art. Wifi is very good as well.
• Theo (10/5): it’s a home away from home, including the bbq and filling breakfast! - The friendly owners are renting three different type of rooms, we had the one upstairs. the room might be a bit small, but the common shower is on the other side of the hall. we liked all!
• Stuart (10/5): A glimpse into Chilean home life. - Carmen is a charming host in what feels like a home stay rather than a guesthouse. A great way to meet a Chilean family with lots of local knowledge and suggestions. The house is simple, yet tasteful and homely. Excellent value for money. nothing
