- Claudia (10/5): Amazing overnight stay.we plan to come again - Very cozy guest house with beautiful rooms. We had a room with balcony looking on to the mountain. The breakfast room was very Bavarian mountain rustic and cozy. The owner is super friendly and helpful. Breakfast was included and delicious. The property is only a 5 minute walk from the city center and close to all types of gorgeous hiking trails.

The host was gracious and breakfast was adequate. The family dog was friendly and loved scratches. Will definitely return for a longer stay.

The location was primo -- a short walk (10 minutes) to the center of town. Our room was spacious (we were in Room 1). In addition to a king bed, we had a large table with two chairs and a bench in the corner. The breakfasts were large and varied (yogurt, fresh fruit, granola, nuts, chia seeds etc), boiled eggs, a large assortment of meats and cheese and excellent breads and coffee cake. The location of Mittenwald was perfect for our hiking vacation. Though we rented a car and drove, we could have done everything we wanted by bus or train.

- Elena (10/5): 100% recommend - Gorgeous location! Quiet, the owner was wonderfully accommodating! They let us stay a couple of hours past our check-out time, so we would not get soaked while waiting for the train. The wi-fi is a little spotty, so if there is someone who wants to work from here, it might not be enough, but it is good enough for all your googling of trails and lakes around the area.
