- blanca (8/5): - la casa es monísima pero las habitaciones no están separadas por paredes, poca intimidad
- HELEN (9/5): Would love to revisit for a longer stay - Excellent choices Nothing, it was all great

- Sarah (4/5): This was meant to be a romantic night for my anniversary and turned into a sneezing and sleepless night unfortunately. - It was a big house and cool layout. The spa was a highlight, one of the reasons I booked it and it did not disappoint. Check in and out was easy and simple. Big kitchen for those who would want to use it. Sadly the property did have some big flaws. The biggest one for me was as soon as I opened the door I was met with the biggest smell of musk and dust ever. It’s an old house I do get that but this was bad. As I have allergies and it was immediately triggering to that. I honestly wish I hadn’t even stayed there as I have been sick ever since my stay now. Luckily once we opened all the doors with screens on them ( not many) and turned on all the fans it made the smell slightly better or manageable for the one night. The other big downside is you can hear the big highway from inside the house and beds, so sleeping at night wasn’t easy.
- kim (9/5): - That is was near the lake and lovely surroundings and the breakfast was exceptional
- Denise (10/5): Exceptional and very serene and calming especially with the lovely variety of birds in the area. - The situation of the Retreat among the trees and near the Lake.
The facilities, especially the goodies in the Kitchen. Nothing to not like.
- Marion (9/5): We were constantly sneezing and coughing throughout our stay. Apart from that, the place and ambiance is excellent. 4 - A peaceful and relaxing place. The design of the house is amazing. Could use a thorough cleaning of dusty spots. Installing an air purifier throughout the house could be a game-changer. This could be catastrophic if someone who has dust allergies stayed on this place.
- Perla (9/5): Comfortable, clean & well presented, everything provided, highway traffic is audible, - Breakfast was ok Stove top large element needs attention, perhaps the thermostat needs replacing, did not reach high heat
- marcia (8/5): - Brekkie great. Great view. Comfortable.
- Beverley (7/5): -
- Janice (9/5): -
- Nicolaas (7/5): Comfortable bed. It would have been better if a greater range of food was available. I had to go out - Too much room for one person. But out is a very nice unot Distance from facilities . My bad I should have researched more
- Sandeep (10/5): Exceptional -
- Ashleigh (10/5): Exceptional - Gorgeous location, private, quaint
- Tracie (7/5): Good - the uniqueness of the place was amazing. it had a smell upon entry, could definitely do with a deep clean dusting.

- Helen (9/5): Superb -
- Perla (9/5): Superb - Comfy, rustic, everything provided, no sound privacy in regard to bedrooms, all with half walls. recommended
- Kristy (10/5): I can’t say enough good things about this place it was a perfect spot to land for the night after driving 6 hours. Highl - Everything! The location, the cleanliness, the spa & of course the host Adele.
- Nila (8/5): Great stay - Spacious and well quipped The building itself needs attention
- Howard (8/5): Very good -

- Carol (7/5): Good -
- Jodie (10/5): Exceptional -
- Jayne (9/5): A surprising find! - Very generous hosts with lots of little extras.
- Naomi (10/5): Great value for money. Lovely little hideaway. - Beautiful little hideaway with a great price tag. Very reasonable for such a large property. We had everything we needed and the retreat was so clean and well cared for. We were amongst the trees so there were some creepy crawlers- but this was to be expected and on the whole there were a lot less than we would have imagined. The property was very clean. We did have a resident gecko however. We couldn’t see him but we heard him every night and there was a little gecko poop left about. But to us, this added to the charm!
- Madilaine (10/5): It was very spacious and unique - I liked how it was very peaceful nothing. possibly have an iron or board, but wasn't an issue
- Tiong (10/5): Exceptional -
- Margaret (9/5): Superb -
- Ashleigh (10/5): Exceptional -
- Sharronj333 (9/5): Great stay - The place was lovely. A lot bigger than I expected. Loved the spa bath. Adele the host is lovely.
Shuttle to Moonee Hotel was great, Drew their driver was so friendly. Can't rate the Moonee Hotel though. Bar staff took 30 minutes to make Cocktail and still got it wrong. Food only average. Nothing. I agree there is a bit of musty smell but it's amongst the bush. Once you opened place it was fine.
- Sheridan (9/5): Superb -
- Quanita (10/5): Exceptional - Breakfast exceeded expectations. Everything we needed and lots of choice
- Tasha (8/5): Very good -
- Glenys (9/5): Peaceful - So well provisioned for breakfast and the unit was roomy, comfortable and week maintained. A wonderful relaxing atmosphere
- Dave (6/5): I would not recommend it for the dollar value - It was functional It was musty, windows very dirty and looking run down. Needed some TLC both in and out. Looked very depressing on outside
- O'shea (10/5): Exceptional - It was peaceful I had to leave
- Raechel (10/5): Perfect retreat for couples or small group. Surrounded by nature, gorgeous architecture, and comfort. You won’t want to - The property is just off the highway but feels miles away. A beautiful mix of nature and comfort. The skylights let in beautiful views of the trees that surround you. The light that comes into the house from all the windows is just stunning to wake up to. Perfect retreat for an artist to soak up the atmosphere and light. Really enjoyed the openness of the building. TVs in the bedrooms were a surprise and loved. It was nice to have access to DVD’s and books to read. We really appreciated the abundance of towels & toiletries. The breakfast supplies were a lovely bonus. The short walk to the lake and views are stunning. The covered deck was a delight. We have fallen in love with this place and plan to have a family vacation there very soon. You will want to stay several days to enjoy the peace, comfort & beauty. Easy going friendly hosts. Highly recommend staying here. There was nothing we could fault. Leaving the property was hard because it was just so good staying there.
- Deborah (7/5): Beautiful - This was a beautiful place very clean & comfortable it was so Peaceful like a quiet oasis . It was a little dated & need some general maintenance, that comes with any home
- Sharon (7/5): Nice, but probably wont return. Pictures showed it as amazing but disappointing. - Breakfast was good, no problems there.
lovely sitting in the nook for breakfast, very cosy.
outside enclosed area was lovely to sit and read peacefully cleanliness. Cobwebs beside the upstairs bed and under the chairs at the table. The fan didn't work upstairs, the glass windows had some mildew on the inside and they all needed a good clean outside and inside. this would have brought more brightness into the villa. Also would be good to clean up the garden path walkway, very overgrown. Very cute though.
- Darryl (3/5): The property would have been nice in its day however this has pass. They do have more modern cabins - The facilities were good howecver very old and outdated. The place smelt musky and mouldy there was Mould in the cupboard and on the pictures hanging on the walls. I think they are trying to renovate the property however this rooms was well past its use by date and requires extensive renovation.
