• Kea (9/5): Comfortable and peaceful stay - The host Bernadine is such a lovely lady. I booked after being discharged from hospital and she made sure i have a comfortable stay for recovery. Rooms are clean. The area is quiet and peaceful.

• Robyn (8/5): A little suburban gem:) - The room was spacious and came with all the comforts of extra bedding, self catering tea station, fridge, microwave, blow dryer, toiletries etc. The specific room has a little stoep with garden furniture which over looks the pool and the most beautiful garden. Bernadine, the owner and host, adds the cherry on the top, with a warm welcome and is ready to accommodate any way she can, truely giving the establishment that home away from home feeling

• Aras (10/5): Exceptional - What a beautiful guest house! The host is warm and kind. The room we stayed in over looked the pool and the garden. We stayed for 2 night and had delicious breakfast every morning. The room has everything you need from hairdryer to microwave. There's a bath and a shower. The room made us feel so calm and relaxed . The bed and pillows are soft with crisp clean bedding. The room has a soft carpet and stunning interior. She also had milk alternatives which is impressive as most big hotels don't offer that. The location is in a nice safe and quiet area. The wifi is strong and theres also a tv with nexflix and YouTube. The pool is clean and enjoyable and you can also swim at night. Bernadine is a great hostess, warm, welcoming and was able to accommodate my needs. The room is a true work of art and I loved being able to sit on the private terrace outside. Highly recommended X

• Susan (6/5): A week in Bryanston - A lovely house and garden with outdoor patio where breakfast was served. Surrounded by trees and birdsong. Good security. The decor is charming tho the bedrooms are a little dated. Pool was very nice with different seating options around it Very rigid re time of breakfast. 9am was latest time possible. On holiday its nice to sleep late and have breakfast at 10 or even 11am as some hotels offer. Breakfast was more or less the same every day, more choice would have been nice and bigger portions. Bedroom with twin beds very small and no back up when power goes as it did 3 times in the week we were there, other than battery torches for light. The mozzies were vicious and Doom sprays provided in bedroom and lounge but we were both badly bitten despite applying peaceful sleep and other deterrents. Hostess Bernadine was indisposed throughout our week long stay, Paddy wasnt around so different people hosted us. Visitors, friends of ours, who came to see us or take us out for the day were not welcome on the property and the one 80yr old lady who stayed 2 hours and we had tea outside to celebrate her birthday, we were charged R75 for a pot of tea which seemed excessive. We were going to make the tea ourselves with the kettle and provisions provided in the bedroom but the maid offered a tray of 3 cups and side plates plus pot of tea which we thought was a nice gesture at the time, not realising we were going to be charged for this tea tray

As a solo traveller, I have to book accommodation that is safe and this place truly is! What a pity I couldn't stay longer! Everything was better than expected.
