• Monika (10/5): Just perfect - Our stay at “Janela de Marcia B&B” was simply perfect. Marcia is such a wonderful person and a fantastic host. We felt very welcome and right at home. She had great tips for excursions and restaurants, and it was lovely chatting with her. The neighbourhood is quiet, safe, and a great base for exploring the island. The rooms are spacious, very clean, and have a small terrace overlooking the beautiful garden with its large pool. Breakfast on the veranda was in a class of its own and varied every day: fresh fruit, homemade jams and juices, bread, croissants, homemade cakes, eggs prepared in all sorts of ways… simply incredible. Already when we booked we knew we would love this B&B, and we did. A true gem in Floripa. If we come back—which is very likely thanks to Marcia 😊—we will definitely stay here again.

The rooms were spacious and clean and the garden and pool area were a delightful and peaceful place to relax. Located in Lagoa, which is very central to the island, it was easy to travel around by car. We would recommend Marcia's B&B to anyone, truly enjoyable.

Marcia was an amazing host, preparing delicious breakfasts each morning featuring fresh local fruits, pastries, juices, and eggs cooked in wonderful local styles. The location was ideal—quiet and peaceful yet just a short 15-minute walk from Lagoa's shopping centre and waterfront. The spacious, air-conditioned private room, well-maintained garden, patio, pool area, and fast fibre internet made it feel like the perfect home away from home. Marcia's local tips and assistance with laundry and massage bookings were an invaluable bonus. Nothing comes to mind.
• María (10/5): Amazing stay: Great pool, delicious breakfast, best host ever! - Marcia's bed and breakfast has amazing facilities, it's very clean, and has an amazing pool, but most of all it felt like a home away from home. Marcia's a wonderful host, a true Brazilian mama and she made me feel so welcome, especially as a woman travelling on my own. When I arrived Marcia said "you are my guest", and that's exactly how I felt the whole time: like a cherished and most welcomed guest. The location of the B&B is great, with amazing beaches just a short Uber ride away, and I went on a wonderfully scenic hike to Lagoinha de Leste, but even though the beaches were stunning, Marcia's energy and her delicious breakfast and her sweet dog Fridge, truly made my week. I pushed my flight home back so I could enjoy the breakfast one more time. Thank you Marcia for a wonderful stay! The only thing I didn't like was that I had to fly home again!

Very quiet at night, 5 min drive to town. We had a delicious breakfast every morning, with fresh fruit and Marcia's home made granola, among other treats! (amazing Pao de quiejo!) Each day she prepared eggs in a different way, soo good! Very Cute room with outdoor seating. Great hot shower, with fresh towels every day. Super clean, comfy beds. We also had a fun time chatting with Marcia, if we ever return to Floripa, we will definitely stay there again! thanks Marcia for the hospitality!

Marcia even helped me after I checked out, to find a chiropractor. The place is like a portal in the island.

Breakfast was a highlight (especially the english tea!) with locally sourced organic produce with fruit + veg from her garden. Would definitely recommend to anyone visiting!
• Patrick (10/5): 10/10 stay - Our stay at Marcia’s was without a doubt a 10/10. She was right from the beginning very warm and welcoming. The property is very well maintained with a larg pool and lots of plants and flowers. She is undeniably a loving host. Every morning we were looking forward to the amazing and nourishing breakfast. It was very delicious, freshly prepared and healthy on top. Most days we only got hungry again in the afternoon. Whatever question might pop up, she sure will gladly help. In the end of the day she enjoys having a little sit together over a nice glass of wine and talk about whatever come’s to mind. Last but not least, the spotless rooms were equipped with everything one needs. An easy working AC made coming home very pleasant. Everything was perfect
• Thomas (10/5): Paradies in Lagoa. - Like paradise. I stayed the second time there and could not enjoy it more. The Host Marcia is absolutely great. So nice and friendly. The rooms are great, big and quite. The bathroom is big and has a big shower, real towels and toilet paper (not the cheap ones I am used from other places). The absolute Highlight is the breakfast. It is amazing and everyday a little different. Will come back as soon as I can. -
• Thomas (10/5): Stay in paradise next to Lagoa - Let's start with the basics: as a frequent traveller I noticed the high quality towels, toilet paper as well as the awesome shampoo and shower gel (which was like being at home). The place it self is in a very quite and nice area. Inside the property its like a paradise, very nice and clean! The host is so kind and lovely. Speaks several languages (which is not too common). The breakfast is unbelievable good. Next level! Very much recommended. The only small thing.. It was quite hot when I was there and the AC could not keep up. Opening the door did help a bit.
• Ryan (10/5): Absolutely Perfect - Our stay at Janela de Marcia was the highlight of our trip to florianopolis. Where to start…the location was great, walking distance to Lagoa town yet still quiet and with easy parking. The facilities were exceptional, we spent an afternoon relaxing around the pool and it was lovely, very nice shared spaces and gardens for relaxing, including a terrace outside our own room. The rooms were so comfortable; with comfortable beds and bedding and spacious bathroom equipped with organic and lovely smelling soaps and shampoos. The breakfast!!!! The breakfast every morning was amazing, fresh and plentiful, including fresh breads, pastries, eggs, fruit, yoghurt and juices, made with all organic ingredients, including things fresh from Marcia’s own garden. All enjoyed within the lovely setting of the terrace overlooking the pool and a great view of the hills. Above everything else mentioned was Marcia’s hospitality, from the breakfasts made by hand to her help and advice in the best things to do, places to see, and places to eat on the island, Marcia was so welcoming, we adored our stay and didn’t want to leave! A definite 10/10!
• Stephanie (10/5): Pure relaxation in a creative and beautiful atmosphere - We had the best time at the Janela de Marcia! Marcia welcomed us like a friend. We immediately felt at home and she helped us with every wish we had. Starting with the breakfast which was delicious, creative, freshly prepared and plenty. The vacation mood set in immediately. Overlooking the huge pool and beautiful garden, you can enjoy Marcia's very delicious breakfast creations. The rooms are lovingly decorated with beautiful details and taste. Everything is clean and the bed is very comfortable. When you wake up you can listen to the birdsong. We felt like we were in heaven! We especially liked the shower in the bathroom. In general, the bathroom is equipped with beautiful tiles and offers enough space for 2 people. Thanks to the beautiful spring weather, we could also already enjoy the pool. What a wonderful refreshment in the beautiful garden! Marcia had perfect tips for all our wishes. For example, thanks to her we got a table at the best sushi restaurant "Black Sheep" in Florianopolis. Also, thanks to her tip, we enjoyed the delicious food at "Rosso" in Sto. Antonio de Lisboa we tried the most delicious octopus. We also got to know different surf spots in Florianopolis from Marcia which my boyfriend enjoyed a lot! One of the best moments was the yoga session on the pool deck. During the final meditation, you could hear the birds and the rustling of the palm trees. It could not have been more perfect! All in all, I would recommend anyone to go to Janela de Marcia for a good time in a creative and loving environment! Thank you so much for such a great time! All perfect!
