- Guylaine (10/5): Je recommande! - Juste à côté de la
Burnt Hill Trail . Parfait
- Brenda (10/5): - Very quiet location
- Anna (8/5): Very pleased - The breakfast was delicious! Everything was very good. I think a tv in our room would have been nice, but there was a comman area.
- Paula (10/5): -
- udo (10/5): -
- Jon (8/5): Would recommend it to all our friends. - We enjoyed the people we meet, all friendly and great to talk with. There wasn't anything we didn't like.
- Sara (8/5): -
- David (8/5): -
- Lester (10/5): - Great breakfast.
Nice people.
- Pam (10/5): The hostess was so lovely -
- Don (10/5): Highly recommend this place quiet by the ocean - Accommodations were expert host a company
Breakfast were excellent

- Nicole (9/5): Merci…
- Diane (10/5): I highly recommend this B&B and I would stay there again. - Jean is an incredible hostess.
We slept the best we have in the past year!!! So soundly, so quiet. The room was clean and fresh.
Jean put on a spectacular breakfast. Fruit, yogurt and granola, and eggs Benedict with her homegrown asparagus. Jean truly went overboard. Her passion for people and accommodating them was very evident.
- Leslie (9/5): What a better way to learn more about the local flair of Newfoundland, stay with the locals!!! - Jean loves to cook breakfasts for her guests and both times we stayed during our trip, the meals were great...especially the variety of jams and jellies that she makes herself! She showed us all around the property to see different rooms as we knew that we were going to come back later in our trip after touring more of the island.
- Don (8/5): Great place to stay in a lovely area -
- Darcy (10/5): Warm, genuine hospitality and accommodations made this stay one we will treasure. - Best location for accessing all sections of Gros Morne park and community walks around bay communities. We had room 5 for several days. Outside entrance w/porch set beside garden and across from cabins. Very quiet but just down the interior hall from kitchen and breakfast dinning area. Jeanie provided a huge, varied breakfast every morning - fruit, yogurt, juice w/ home made muffins, waffles, eggs Benedict and local berry sauces and jams. I loved the flannel sheets and sun streaming through our windows. Great fun to meet other travelers at breakfast to exchange stories while our hostess made recommendations for hikes and events. Nothing really. I think some people who relied on the Airbnb photos may think the photos misrepresented how sophisticated the units and property were. We found our suite to be well appointed, clean and functional (heat, lights, storage, shower…). Older style furniture but fully restored and a handmade quilt on the bed ! Personally, I have my own garden and yard so enjoyed the fall status of garden and mostly native plantings around the property. Would love to see it in the summer too.
- Vinh (7/5): - Great location as a base for exploring Gros Morne. Good breakfast with wide selection of food. Great host and great interaction with other guests. Small room. Uncomfortable beds. Could be cleaner.
- Rafael (10/5): -
- Spronk (7/5): -
- Blondeau (10/5): - Super friendly host and yummy breakfast. Flexibilité with our arrivant. I tottaly recomand that B&B
- Tara (10/5): -
- Dorota (10/5): We're ready to come back at anytime 😊 - Everything exceeded our expectations. Breakfast was different every day, fresh and delicious.
Host was very acomodating, friendly, easy to talk to and very knowledgeable re : places to see etc.We bought fresh fish and she even prepared it for us, that was so sweet. N/A
- David (9/5): -
- Sheldrick (9/5): A great stay overall! -
- ralph (9/5): Just what we needed and we would recommend to friends - We found our host to be exceptionally welcoming. We had Room 6 which was downstairs and had a private door to the outside. Breakfast was outstanding and the compadreship with other guests was a highlight.
- Linda (10/5): A fabulous place to stay - The breakfast was outstanding; comfortable beds and a wonderful host Liked everything
- Guillermo (10/5): Excellent location. Excellent host. Waited for us late at night to great us. How kind! Home made breakfast - delicio - Location is excellent, the house is clean, rooms are clean and nicely arranged, breakfast is home made and delicious. Host is friendly and most pleasant. True Newfoundlander! No concerns.
- Bilsland (8/5): We had a fantastic experience in spite of the room and we would most definitely recommend and go back - Jean is a wonderful host - very knowledgeable about the area and NL culture. She is very welcoming and warm - breakfasts were delicious. We had a room with a bathroom attached. The room was very small and had a small window which restricted air circulation resulting in a stuffiness.
- Joshua (9/5): Great choice in a beautiful part of NL - Outstanding breakfast, individually cooked. The welcome and friendly approach was a delight. Maybe a larger room would have been appreciated. However the facilities certainly met our expectations.
- Paul (10/5): Great place to stay. - Person that was running it was very nice. She made the place feel homey. older home with share bathroom.
- Guy (9/5): Great hosts, great food and great guests!!😃 - The owner, the delicious breakfasts. Nothing
- Alan (8/5): Would stay here again due to hosts and breakfast. All you do in room is sleep so not a big deal! - Great breakfast. Served with a smile, home cooked and delicious. Clean home, friendly and welcoming hosts. Great location, very reasonable price, given room size and facilities (shared bathroom, no TV, double bed) Very small room, no TV, uncomfortable bed that creaked when one of us moved, double bed and shared bathroom (that we knew about but decided to stay there anyway due to location and price)
- Leslie (9/5): Simply wonderful, breakfast was delicious. - Out East was very comfortable. Jean and Milt are awesome, made you feel right at home. Really wasn’t anything.
- Janet (8/5): Comfortable and well equipped property for a short stay in the area. The shoreline is accessible in minutes through lane - Located in Norris Point.
Minutes walk to shoreline. Property yard was a little rough around the edges.
We were in the 2 bedroom cottage, and view of water and mountains was obstructed by new construction.
- SAGAR (10/5): - Staff was really helpful, amazing place, affordable price
- Russell (9/5): -
- Palmer (8/5): Great location,.informative host - The food was great and made with local ingredients. Different every morning
Uns esmorzars molt treballats i variats. Haver de marxar.....
- Jason (10/5): -
- Veronica (10/5): -
- Genevieve Brouillette (8/5): - Jean was very kind and welcoming, and the breakfast was amazing!
- Julia (10/5): If there is ever a conference again at the Bonne Bay Marine Station will definitely try to snatch a room at East Out B&a - Jean is a phenomenal host! Loved every minute of it but especially her creative breakfast with a surprising local freshly picked ingredient every morning. And she is so welcoming, knowledgeable and witty! And all the homemade jams are so authentic and tasty
- Stefan (10/5): -
- Marcia (10/5): Amanzing and authentic Newfoundland experience - Jean, the owner, is exceptionally clean, friendly, and attentive. Her breakfast is prepared with great care and is absolutely delicious, featuring homemade jam made from fruit grown in her garden. We really appreciated her thoughtful recommendations for local attractions and tours.
- Angela (8/5): Fantastic host, great stay. - Owner was brilliant. Gave us lots of great advise on location, where to eat, things to do. She added so much enjoyment overall to our holiday. Couldn't have been looked after better.
- Dulcie (8/5): -
- Tara (10/5): Out East felt like our Home away from Home while we visited Norris Point and the Long Range Traverse - Jean the host provided a wonderful, multi-course breakfast every day of our stay including a little earlier one for a special occasion. It was so warm and welcoming at her place, it felt like we were visiting family. :) Close to everything, super convenient and clean, we had everything we needed! She even had boot dryers for soggy campers :) Nothing that I can think of! But if you were a very tall person better check which room you're in :D These old houses have lower door frames.
- James (10/5): -
- Amanda (9/5): -
- Ronald (9/5): -
- Aleksandra (8/5): - Great atmosphere and friendly owner! Her breakfast are amazing. Some rooms get pretty hot at night as there's no AC
- Elizabeth (8/5): Friendly, authentic Newfoundland experience- would recommend it. - The main attraction for this place is the friendly welcome from, and conversations with Jean, our host. She is a character and a dynamo! Breakfasts were great - including some Newfoundland treats - toutons and homemade jam!. Very close to Rocky Harbour and Gros Morne. This place suited us, but it is not luxurious, and you share a bathroom with another room. Having said that, everything is clean and comfy.
- Kathleen (9/5): Jean the host made the stay feel more like we were at our grandmothers house rather than a B&B. She had fresh baked - Very traditional old style B&B. Nothing fancy but very comfortable.
- Diane (9/5): - Bon déjeuner
- Adrian (9/5): - Breakfast always fresh and tasty
- Linda (10/5): - Better than perfect! Wish we could give more stars. Best breakfast of our trip by far. Hot and home cooked breakfast with different breakfast each day of our stay. Very friendly hosts with lots of info about things to see & do in Gros Morne park and the surrounding area. We felt like we were family. Highly recommend that you stay there.
- Olivia (10/5): A wonderful bed and breakfast with nice hosts. - Friendly host. Great breakfast. Cozy room. Shared bathroom.
- Marie-josee (10/5): -
- Michael (8/5): - Quaint
- Gail (10/5): Friendly people . Great location - No breakfast No breakfast Friendly people
- Murray (9/5): - Room was clean and nicely decorated. The host was very pleasant and breakfast was delicious.
- Louis (9/5): Enjoyed spending time with hostess, Jean, and other guests at breakfast. - Breakfasts were very good and different each day.
- Tim (10/5): -
- Kim (9/5): It wasn’t fancy but it checked all our boxes. - We weren’t sure when we first got there as this a lot different from other B and Bs that we have stayed out. No charming antiques and spacious room. No tv in our room either. WiFi worked well. Lots of folks coming and going. The hosts were special and treated us very well. Wonderful breakfasts and conversations with lots of tips about the area. No air conditioning but it wasn’t needed as we could open a window and use a fan. We had our own private bathroom. Great place to stay to start your vacation to Gros Morne NP. Very scenic area! Needed more space.
- andre (9/5): Exceptional B and B - One of the best
Jean is exceptional , friendly and served the best of breakfast
- Sandy (10/5): -
- Linda (10/5): -
- Gary (10/5): Very nice spot to stay for a few days while enjoying Gross Morne NP. - Very friendly staff. Excellent breakfasts. Very clean and comfortable. Ensuite bathroom. Host very personable. Helped us in every way to ensure we had a good stay. Allowed us access to the kitchen fridge. It was all good
- Susan (10/5): -
- Susan (8/5): Had a good stay, enjoyed Jean's company and the other guests! - Room and bathroom were clean. Breakfast was exceptionally good! Kudos to Jean! Nice stay! Kitchen could be cleaner.
- Robynn (7/5): - The location was good. Breakfasts were nice. The host gave lots of local information and was very pleasant to talk to. The room was clean but a bit stuffy. However, there were fans available that we did use to help that out. The common areas were less tidy- suppose it didn’t matter much as we didn’t spend much time in those areas
- Judith (8/5): Friendly, comfie, clean and convenient. - The lady taking care of it, the bed, the camaraderie with other guests. I needed a thinner pillow
and I got one.
- Maya (10/5): -
- Trudy (8/5): Great Stay! - Very friendly owner who greeted us. First one to do that in all our stays in Newfoundland- everywhere else just left code to get in and never did greet us. Really could tell she loved running her B&B Nothing
- Jalp (10/5): -
- Srushti Uttam (10/5): - Had a lovely stay! The host was super kind and made amazing, different breakfasts every day (sharing pics!). The room was comfy, location easy to find, and we had great chats with other guests at breakfast. Highly recommend!
- Klingler (9/5): -

- xu (9/5): -
- Alison (10/5): The hostess was so friendly and made the best breakfast! - Comfortable bed, clean! Location is incredible
- Johanna (10/5): Would return in a heart beat :) - Our second stay at Jean's was as pleasant as the first. (We travelled the province and came back over a week later). Jean is hospitable, welcoming, as if we were coming back home. Breakfast was delicious Eggs Benedict this time, with homemade jams and baking on the table. Our room was clean!
- Bruno (10/5): Ambiance cosy - Le charme du B&B.
L'ambiance cosy.
L'accueil
- Helen (10/5): Great, kind hosts at a well located and homey B&B in Norris Point make this a gem of our trip. - Jean is an exceptional host, even when compared to all the friendly Newfoundlanders we’ve met so far on our trip. Energetic, friendly, going out of her way to make the B&B feel like home. Creative breakfasts incorporate vegetables from the garden, and they change every day! Milton, also very friendly, was busy planting flowers in the garden.
Norris Point is a great location in Gros Morne and has its own trail on Burnt Mountain. Both Jean and Milton are very knowledgeable about all aspects of the area, such as trails and good restaurants.
- Hicham (10/5): The place to be for hikers - Excellent location, lovely people!
- Maksim (10/5): - It is not our first stay here. Everything is great! Nothing
