Guest Reviews
- Brenda (6/5): Geminis is a cheap hostel, you get what you paid for. Yet you have everything that is necessary bfor - Location: Close to everything: supermarkets, restaurants, laundry, money exchange etc. Hot water in bathroom . Quiet at night you can sleep. A Microwave, and a fridge downstairs available. I had a room in the back. It has a very small window. In case of a fire you can not get out. There is an emergency stair way but to me a little further.
- Robert (9/5): Comfortable - Breakfast good.
Location excellent
- Ashlee (7/5): Good - Central location. Shared bathrooms were nice. The photos make it look nicer than it is. Very basic, old rooms. Our room could have been cleaner.
- Richard (8/5): Very good - The location is extremely good. Many great business and restaurant options just nearby. Including a big supermarket. Much closer than a lot of places to the bus station The breakfast was available at any hour which was very good but it is quite basic. The room itself is basic but very utilitarian. It did have a great shower.
- Cheryl (10/5): Very pleasant and quiet and great location . - Well located attractive rooms clean . Host Carolina ( daughter of owners ) very warm and helpful . In many South American hostels breakfast consists of white bread , cheese slices, and ham all of which we don’t like . In this Hostal we added yogurt to corn flakes and brought our own fruit so breakfast was ok . Hot water and instant coffee, milk, and tea is available all day /evening which I liked .
- Peter (9/5): It suited our needs perfectly! - Very good and substantial. Like every where we went on this trip they only serve instant coffee which took some getting used to. Value was excellent. Consequently couldn’t have asked or expected more.
- Akane (10/5): Amazing location, comfortable accommodation! Would recommend! - Bathroom was spacious and showers were hot, breakfast was hefty- the bread served was filling. They let us use the lobby area to eat store bought food, there was a microwave and refrigerator that could be used as well. We joined the Torres del Paine day tour which was amazing, highly recommended! Would be convenient if credit card payment was accepted.
- Nevil (8/5): Very good -
- Udit (7/5): Overall ok for few 2-3 nights if you are busy doing activities and not staying much in room. - Location A bit expensive for the room they offer. But probably that how it is in Patagonia during the season.
- Alice (8/5): Very good - Good location. Beds comfy. Clean. Nice staff Have to pay in cash
- Malik (4/5): Disappointing -
- Svetlina (10/5): Excellent! -
- Vanessa (9/5): Superb -
- Nawalage (5/5): Passable - Room is upstairs. loction is not convinced for us Loction and rooms is upstairs need to climb
- Shelly (10/5): Exceptional -
- Shelly (10/5): Exceptional -
- Pablo (5/5): Passable - Clean room, but very small, barely enough room to unpack our bags. Bed ok. No soundproofing at all, lots of noise from the street. Pre-packaged breakfast of mediocre quality and selection, why not offer a buffet so we can choose what we like? Staff seemed bored, atmosphere overall wasn't very welcoming. Felt overpriced.
- Grazial88 (9/5): Superb - The room was big and comfortable. The location is perfect for Puerto Natales. We enjoyed the breakfast and the fact that we could have it very early in the morning. No shower gel in the bathroom, and it was missing a bit of human relationship for a hostel.
- Sarah (7/5): Decent hostel for a short stay in Puerto Natales - Good location, comfortable beds and nice warm rooms. Good value to stay in a private room as a group of two as you got your own bathroom. Breakfast was very basic and difficult as a vegan. But they make sure it is available so even if you leave at 5am you can eat.
- Roth (8/5): Very good - Helpful hosts even though some of them did not speak English. We made it work!
- Erika (9/5): Superb -
- Georgia (7/5): Good -
- Karsten (10/5): Nice Hostal worth the price - Very nice and friendly staff. Location is absolute perfect Nothing to complain about
- Oleg (10/5): Exceptional -
- Nikhil (6/5): Pleasant -
- Nir (1/5): Not reliable - Nothing Demands a higher price than the order we had in booking
- Vanessa (8/5): Very good - They were well organised with breakfast. Very clean and neat hostel. Very good location.
- Guadalupe (9/5): The hospitality was great with the owners - It was a comfortable room. The place offers good price for tours to Torres del Paine National park. It is near everything within walking distance. It only has two shared bathrooms around the hostel.
- Tim (8/5): Very good -
- Guillermo (7/5): Good -
- Ana (9/5): Okay value for money - The room was clean and nice.
Location was close to the center and the shopping area.
Breakfast was minimal , but okay.
The city is pretty expensive , so this was a room on the cheaper end.
- Robert (6/5): Pleasant -
- Krassy (6/5): Pleasant - I arrived late and the checkin staff charged me a completely different higher rate than the actual booking.
Breakfast was laid out from the night before, so all yoghurt and bread was just sitting around for 10hrs.
- Giedre (9/5): Superb - Very friendly host, who also provided us with camping gear for half the price compared to any rental agency. Location was also very good and everything was very clean Shower was a bit outdated, but hot water available
- Natalia (7/5): Good -
- Nejc (10/5): Exceptional -
- Anita (8/5): Very good - We stayed here before and after the W-hike. We could leave our luggage here and we rented some hiking poles (not the best, but OK).
The rooms are spacious and comfortable!
They have a breakfast prepared per room, but it is good enough and you can already take it very early if your leaving early on a trek for example.
You can take coffee and tea all day.
- Charlotte (6/5): Pleasant - I would go back if I was in Puerto Natles as it was a good hotel for trekking Torres Del Paign, a nice family running it, you can also arrange your tours with them, they have good options though I was unable to do any I couldn't eat much on breakfast as I don't like Pan 🍞 but the coffee was good
- Ioana (9/5): Superb - it was clean and i liked the breakfast you can hear everything but if you have earplugs it's fine
- Bert (9/5): Good stay to start day Tours around Puerto Natales. - Very nice staff.
- Mathieu (7/5): Good -
- Vitor (8/5): I don't like writing all. - Nice and friendly falmalg Nothing. It was I expected
- Minkyoung (10/5): Exceptional -
- Jessica (10/5): Exceptional -
- Benjamin (9/5): Superb -
- Nina (9/5): Superb - The beds were very comfortable, the breakfast was big and good, and the staff was very helpful. We also rented our equipment for the w treck here and they even made sure we could get the same room after coming back from the hike.
- Ozlem (7/5): Only For Short Stays - Ensuite bath Poor breakfast
- Ozlem (7/5): Only For Short Stays - You can have breakfast early because they prepare everything on the tables a night before There were 2 shared bathrooms. There was a very bad smell in one of them.
The breakfast was very limited.
- Janice (8/5): Fine enough! - Cheap private rooms with a private bathroom. They also serve breakfast (bread, ham, cheese, tea/coffee) The shower had really bad water pressure and my pillow was super lumpy.
- Nadia (10/5): Warmly recommend! - Really great place near the centre of Puerto Natales. Comfortable room, very nice breakfast, and kind staff. Would warmly recommend! :)
- Amitay (4/5): Disappointing - staff wasn’t kind or helpful
- Davinder (8/5): its very goid value for money and host family are amazing friendly. - spacious twin room with private bathroom. No aircon or fan and can get quite hot in the afternoon. Host family do not speak english but you overcome that my having a spanish translation aap on phone.
- Maximilian (9/5): Superb - they were very flexible with the check in time (later in the evening) and let us store our excess stuff for 3 days while hiking in torres del paine not regarding the hostal or its owner but people where taking the breakfast of other rooms. so if you show up „late“ you might find a couple of things prepared for you missing.
- Inhae (1/5): Bad - NOTHING I told the hostel owner that I wanted to pay in Chilean pesos. She asked me for a higher amount than today's exchange rate.
So I just said a few times that the exchange rate was not right. But she didn't even pretend to listen to me and she ended up yelling at me and telling me to get out of her hostel.
She was crazy about money. She was very rude, disrespectful and terrible. She is not qualified as a hostel owner.
It's the first time in my life that I've written such a bad review.
I can't understand that such a bad hostel exists in Puerto Natales.
- Anna (10/5): Exceptional -
- Babak (8/5): Very good -
- Claire-anne (9/5): Superb - The place is cozy and the room is comfortable. Very well located.
- Charles (10/5): Perfect Puerto Natales - Clean and comfortable hostal with friendly staff. Rebooked three times and they stored our luggage in the interim. Good breakfast made nice and early for your hiking trips.
- Sylvia (6/5): The room was Okey, the breakfast was not worth it - The bed was comfortable.
The private bathroom had a window! Very nice! The breakfast: not fruits, it was just "without love" coffee was bad. Bad bread, no roster, why?
